Las Palmas is one of the biggest cities on Planet Gran Canaria. It was funded by Omicron Supply Industries originally intended to serve as a new headquarter. The move of the Administration and with Nichols Trade Center all of the research to Gran Canaria was followed by the employes and scientists of Omicron Supply Industries looking for a planetside home. Taking advantage of the infrastructure of the Headquarter, the city grew rapidly, albeit controlled.

Las Palmas is now home to several thousand of the employees of Omicron Supply Industries and their families. The other part of the inhabitants are mostly relying on offering services to Employees of OSI, such as hairdresser, construction workers or divorce lawyers/mediators.

Jason Kelly, CEO of OSI

The Director's lounge of the Trade'n'Drunk has somewhat become a second office to Jason Kelly. Maybe because he felt more at ease being in a less-formal environment, maybe because he allowed himself to sip his favorite whiskey or just because he liked the somewhat damped the noises from the bar bellow.

Either way, here he was, working and hoping to get interrupted by someone, anyone from the boring duty of reading trough reports and assessments of Markets and OSI's daughter corporations.

Isaac Nemo - OSI Pilot

Isaac gleefully bounded up to the bouncer. It has been many months since Isaac had stepped foot on real earth. He took another large lungful of fresh air before he handed over his Identification badge. Isaac had been excited to visit the club since he was told about it during training, he found the prospects of a free bar tantalizing.

“Hold on hotshot.” Growled Bob “Where do you think you're going?” He took the Employee-identification badge and threw a scant look at it.
No-one is getting upstairs without being a VIP or VIP permission. And this clearly states, that you're a new independent contractor and definitely not a VIP.”

He leaned towards the guy. “So unless you have a good reason to disturb the Boss upstairs, this” he pointed with the finger towards the public area of the Bar “is your place”

Isaac looked the bouncer over once, "Bar's over there huh" he meekly replied. He sighed and walked over to the bar and ordered a pint while watching a game on one of the many flat screens. "Ah well" he thought while downing his first pint, "At least the pay is good"

Tony Doria - Bering Shipping Inc. Director and Transport Captain

Tony had left his modified BWT on the loading bay at the Las Palmas Spaceport while it was being loaded with Deuterium fuel to take back to Freeport 2, and went to the Trade'n Drunk Bar, following an advice of the docking bay master as the best place to spent the time while he waited. Tony hadn't been at Canaria in years, so the bar was new to him. He decided to take a look at it.

He liked what he saw. The place had style. And perhaps the best assorment of beverages of the whole Sirius sector. Some old Jazz music was on. A nice touch. It was early, so the place had just a few people, drinking and eating and chating. Once in a while a laugh was heard in the background. Some guy was at a corner table, drinking an ale and watching some game of a kind of sport he never saw before.

He walked up to the bar, and asked the bartender to serve him a Molly wiskey on the rocks. Tony sat there at the bar stool, waiting for his drink. While he waited, his datapad made a 'beep' sound. It was a Neuralnet message from his old friend David. When they first met, David was a civilian flight instructor at planet Erie. Now he was a member of OSI's Board of Directors. Aparently the galaxy had been good for him.

"Your drink sir!" - the bartender said, placing the cup on the counter - "Enjoy."

"Oh, I will! Thanks..." - said Tony, taking a sip from the glass. He just loved Molly wiskey, best drink in the whole sirius. He placed the glass back at the counter, picked up one of his magic cigarretes and lighted it up, taking a deep puff out of it. Then, took his datapad from his pocket and opened the message.

The message said simply: "Go to the VIP area entrance behind you and ask to see Mr. Kelly. We have a job for BSI."

Tony stood up, took his glass, and slowly walked to the VIP floor entrance, taking little sips from his cup while he walked. "How did he know I was here?" - Tony was thinking - "He must have cameras here hidden somewhere..."

Some big guy with a mean face stood right in front of the entrance, the sort of guy you know is from the security staff from klicks away. Tony looked up at the bouncer's face and said:

"Good evening, friend... My name is Tony Doria. I just received a message from Mr. Starr asking me to come here and look for Mr. Kelly. Aparently he has a job for me..."

Tony took another smoke off his spliff, making a blue smoke cloud over his head.

“No smoking upstairs, fella. If you're allowed to get up there, that is” growled the bouncer and checked his PADD for any entries on the name of Doria. After a while he looked up to the man infront of him, back down to the picture on his PADD and back up agin.

“Indeed. The boss is expecting you. If you drop the stub, I'll let you upstairs”. He had strict orders in that matters and was not in the mood to jeopardize a well-payed job like this. “And if you blow smoke it in my face, you go up there with a with a broken arm.” He added for good measure.

Tony took another puff from his spliff, held the smoke in his lungs for a moment, then blew the smoke upwards.

"Hey, don't worry, friend... My mother taught me some manners."

He smoked the rest of his spliff very quickly, dropped the bud at an ashtray in a nearby table, and turned back to the bouncer.

"Can I go up now?"

The big man just stepped to the side without a word.

"Thanks, buddie." - said Tony, and walked up the stairs.

The OSI's VIP Lounge was not a floor up, but a level up on the decoration too. Soft carpet, big round tables with nice chairs, some itens on the wall from all corners of the sector. And the best stocked bar in the whole Sirius.

Half way through the mezzanine, a gentleman in a nice bussiness suit was sitting at a table that gave him a nice view of the bar below.

Tony approached the table: "Mr. Kelly? I'm Tony, from BSI."

Jason Kelly, CEO of OSI

Due to the warning of the bouncer via his PADD Jason was well aware, who was about to drop in on his VIP-lounge. Security wasn't the issue it's just that he liked to know ahead if someone was about to show up. Either way, he took the few seconds a CEO was supposed to take in order to make a busy impression, using the time to grab that data-storage device his Director of Public Relations asked him to give to Tony.

He stood up, straightened his suit and adjusted his tie during the few steps it took him to get into arms length of Doria for a proper handshake.

“Jason. Glad to finally meet you.”

With a gesture he invited his guest to sit on one of the chairs

“Now how are things in Bering these days?”

"Bering? Well... Boring, actually." - said Tony while he sat down - "Usually the trip to get there is the most interesting part. But our infrastructure at the Freeport is practically all set up. We have some mechanics to take care of the ships, an exclusive docking bay for loading and unloading cargo and parking the transports and escorts... We even have a share on the Freeport bar now..." - he said with as smile - "It does not get near the quality and style of the Trade'n'Drunk though..."

Tony looked around the upper aisle, they were the only two people there at the moment. He glanced down to the main floor, the position where Kelly chose to sit had an strategic view of the bar below.

"So, my old friend David sent me a message about a possible job for BSI... I hope it's something more exciting than hauling Deuterium to Bering!" - he said, drinking from his wiskey - "Ah, the finest drink in the whole Sirius, for sure! We need this variety of drinks back at Two. Do you mind if I smoke? It's natural..."
