Skarsi looks out the window at his new acquisition in drydock at Sabah Shipyard.
A Zephyr Mark II carrier, ready to be refit and reconfigured to serve Eris and the TAZ. With the approaching end to the service life of the Aquilon class Carriers, Pope Skarsi began plans to seek out and acquire a suitable replacement to serve in the fleet.
His first step, to contact the Colonial Republic about their Zephyrs, was successful. That is what brought him to Sabah Shipyard, to complete the acquisition of the ship and co-ordinate with the Colonial Engineers on the technical aspects that will surely arrise.
He turns from the window and walks to the conference room set aside for the meeting. Already waiting in the room is the small cadre of TAZ engineers he has brought with him. The Chief Engineer, Arjak Ironweaver, nods to him as he enters and takes a seat to wait for the Colonial delegation.
