Greetings, friends from the Miners Guild,

my name is David Starr, Director of Public Relations at Omicron Supply Industries.

But I started at OSI as a simple Escort Pilot. And I still fullfil that role at Omicron Security. Under that perspective I send this communication.

You see, for decades we zoners use the Roc bomber and the Eagle fighter, and later the Osprey, as escort for our transports. But more recently we got envolved in more complex situations, so to speak. The Omega-3 conflict, and the repeated occupation attempts at Gran Canaria showed us the need of more heavy firepower.

As OSI only has 3 Conference class Gunboats, the use of heavy bombers became a necessity. We aquired a few Waran bombers on the open market, but they proved to be a too big of a target for the agile corsair fighters, and the insane fury of Das Wilde pilots. I was recently shot down in Omega Nine by a Wilde gunboat, being rescued by one IMG transport that was supplying the station there. My ship was pulled by the star's gravity, ending up burning at its corona.

Since then I have been thinking about aquiring a few of your Nanda Devi heavy bombers for OSI. They have the adequate firepower, but with the advantage of having a smaller profile compared to the Waran.

My idea is: as I need to replace my ship, I thought of aquiring one Nanda Devi for myself, and in between escort missions do some tests on the machine. All going well, then we should aquire a few more units of the vessels, together with the standard package of spare parts for maintenance.

I shall wait for the Guild's response on if this agreement is possible, and what steps do I need to take to make it happen. Oh, and also how long will it take for the ship to be delivered, I wonder... ?

I thank you for your time. Best regards,

David Starr

Mr Starr,

Seeing as Omicron Supply Industries and the Independent Miners Guild have had a long standing and mutually beneficial relationship, I see little reason to deny one of our close allies our technology.

Consider your request approved. You may collect the vessel at the nearest IMG affiliated base together with the maintenance contract. If you perhaps prefer a delivery, I can see it arranged.

Regards,
Shinichiro Kawashima, Head of Production

Mr. Kawashima,

That's some good news! I am sure this vessel will be very useful. My gratitude to you and the Guild.

Well, there will be no need for a full maintenance contract at this point. The standard contract for repair parts supply will sufice. Our mechanics at Gran Canaria can do the manual work. In the future, if we indeed buy more of your vessels, then we can sign a full contract including scheduled maintenance and overhauls.

Also, there is no need for a delivery. A zoner Dromedary freighter will take me to Java station. From there, I will get directions to the ship's delivery location. I will fly the bomber back to Gran Canaria, and the freighter will take the spare parts.

Thanks again, Mr. Kawashima. Anything you need, I am available in this same frequency.
