Junker Base Laws and Regulations

1) All Junker stations have a 10K No Fire Zone surrounding the station where combat is strictly forbidden. Reasons and ideologies are not relevant. There are families aboard these salvage and trade hubs; while they may be well-protected against elements that may do them harm, we will not be dragged into conflicts that cost unnecessary lives and resources due to the rash actions of a few individuals.

1) i) Ships that entice Junkers into combat within the NFZ or dock on a Junker base whilst fleeing from a conflict with the Junkers will have their docking permissions immediately revoked. No fees, no fines, no diplomacy and no trials.

1) ii) Craft that initiate or are responsible for combat within the 10k NFZ will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

1A) Pilots and Captains are forbidden from using Junker bases as a means of escaping conflicts when approached by a hostile party (that is hostile to the captain or pilot in question (Xenos, Hogosha and alien/otherworldly forces are excluded and pilots and captains may dock if under fire from them)). That means you are not allowed to loiter within the 10k No Fire Zone if hostile entities are present. That also means you are not allowed to dock on a Junker base if a hostile entity is present - especially if you are being shot at by said hostile entity. If approached by a hostile entity, you must take your conflict out of the 10k NFZ as soon as possible. We don't want any conflict on our base or around it. Your problem is your problem, not ours.

1B) No craft is under any protection from the Junkers within the NFZ at any time unless expressly stated by Junkers present. While in space, all pilots and captains are under their own protection. The Junkers claim no liability regarding actions taken by non-Junker parties outside their own stations. A pilot forced into the station's shielding is free to contact the port authority with details of the incident for risk assessment purposes.

2) All craft using Junker facilities assume their own risks and full liability for damages and loss. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Junker stations are salvage depots and as such are anchored in hazardous parts of space with ample amounts of free-flying metal debris and radiation.

3) Individuals may have dock rights revoked at the sole discretion of the Junkers for any reason. Reasons may or may not be disclosed.

3A) Individuals using Junker stations as bases of operations for activities which jeopardize Junker operations and the bases themselves will be dealt with harshly.

3B) Mooring fixtures are designated for transport-class vessels and smaller. Junker stations are places of business, and ports are busy with the influx of materiel for repurposing and relocation. Gunboat-class vessels may be serviced at Junker bases. Destroyer or Cruiser class vessels may only dock on Junker bases with permission.

3B) i) Captains of Destroyer or Cruiser class vessels must ask for docking permission for their ship on Junker bases prior. This may require a small fee, but the fine of being caught using Junker bases for docking without asking for permission is much greater. You can reach the Junker Marauders or the Junkers Congress for permission over the neural net.

3B) ii) Battleship or Dreadnought class vessels are forbidden from docking on Junker bases. Your vessels cannot be serviced with our facilities and are too large to accommodate and may interfere with our operations. If you are caught attempting to forcefully dock on Junker bases with a Battleship or Dreadnought class vessel, you will be forced to pay a very large fine.

3B) iii) Capital ships may freely dock on the shipyard in Inverness (Invergordon Space Port) and Puerto Rico (Vieques Shipyard).

4) Ships found breaking any of these laws will be forced to pay a fine. Here is the list of fines:

Fighters: 4,000,000 per law broken
Bombers: 5,000,000 per law broken
Gunboats: 7,000,000 per law broken
Cruisers: 10,000,000 per law broken
Battleships: 15,000,000 per law broken

As mentioned above, the fine will be multiplied by the amount of laws that ship has broken.
Junker Marauders or Junkers Congressmen may issue further fines depending on the behaviour of the offender during the situation. Remember, it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

5) Finally, of course all Junkers are free to enforce these laws. Furthermore, if an individual does not adhere to these laws and a Junker is present, a Junker is free to fine the law breaker on the spot. If said law breaker resists the fine, the Junker is free to teach him a lesson through violence, poetry, war stories or other means.

Ships may be outright banned from Junker bases without any fines or diplomacy being given. This will be done at the Junker Marauders or Junkers Congress’s discretion.

Repeat offenders will be dealt with severely.

This broadcast has been approved by both the Junker Marauders and the Junkers Congress.

This is a read only broadcast.
