From the dawn of the Corsair’s arrival in Sirius, crime has been a staple in their ever growing cultural diet. From said crime, arose many Corsair factions that have made attempts to stake their claim on the black market which the Hispania Children have such a firm grip on. Noticeably, came the Galician Cosca, or Galicia Thistle. The Cosca took a long climb to fame, usually digging their way through the dirt through tooth and nail, just trying to make a name for themselves in the great wide market.
What originally began as a ‘banking’ company that could loan cash out to clients, the Cosca found themselves losing money to unreliable loaners that couldn’t pay back, so were forced to pay back in blood. Taking a chance, they offered hard labour for those unable to pay, usually working the small farms the Cosca insured or owned. What little produce these farms made was usually sold for more cash, in a futile attempt to gain profit in a market that was unable to sustainably maintain food.
In the sixth century A.S, the Cosca finally were able to take a chance on the market and take up artifact smuggling as a profession, rather than working farms that couldn’t produce enough to keep them going. The maps routed by Jim Brown were effective and so the Cosca invested in a small freighter fleet that would map their way through the stars to Manhattan. This was the first time the Cosca took to space and did so with moderate success. While the first convoy lost 2 of 4 freighters, the two that remained were able to profit enough to cover the costs of another 2 freighters to take their place.
While this risky smuggling took place, other factions delved into Hogosha relations and established a trading centre on Hawaii, which the Cosca took advantage of too, since it was a safer route with moderate profit. Junkers began to show interest in smuggling the ancient goodies, so the Cosca also assisted in supplying many Junker Clans with the valuables, even if only on a small scale.
By 737 A.S, the Cosca had finally rose from petty insurance company to large scale smuggling operation. Using their brains and their brawn, they were able to reduce other competition to ashes (by literally burning their buildings down) and claim routes where others had not. Despite being feared planetside, since no laws had been established to prevent them from doing so, space offered a new pond for them to be feared in, which is still a market they seek to claim.
More importantly, space became increasingly dangerous after Outcast and Hessian wars began to break out in the Omegas and Omicrons. Due to these hostilities, the Cosca decided to take up arms and order a private military and security fleet into action, which followed the same traditions of the main armies. The Cosca began the training of soldiers and guardsmen alike to not only secure their interests, but also be seen a fearsome figure in space.
But while the Cosca has a long line of profiting and pillaging, there is still plenty of profit to be made and enemies to be pillaged. With recent changes within the ranking structure, the Cosca is looking at a rapid increase in space activity, shifting away from terrorizing Crete with it’s recent change in laws and order.

Galician Guard is Paramilitary force of Galician Cosca, Galician Guard is responsible for protection of Corsair people and Galician People, and it is also assigned to follow Orders of God Father and Jefe de todos of Galician Cosca, Caporegime is the current highest rank in Galician Guard.

Jefe de todos, which means, " Boss of all bosses" , is a mythical Galician Cosca rank that is supposed to have more power than the God Father and is extremely feared by members, associates, and others alike

God Father
God Father is a member of Galician Cosca who acts for The Jefe de todos and on behalf of the boss in public view (e.g. the commission ,meetings). A God Father is intended to deceive authorities, the public, other families and members within his own Galician Cosca, God Father is 2nd Highest power man in Galcian Cosca
A God Father may take some decisions himself, but may be required to clear or take direction on certain decisions or matters from the Jefe de todos.

Also called "capo", is a high ranking member in a Galician Guard. Similar to a captain, this person is the head of a grouping of soldiers and reports directly to God Father.

An Asociado or "connected guy" is not a full member of the Galician Cosca. Asociado are selected by God Father of Galician Cosca , When a Asociado is selected, Asociado have to spend sometime with an already Soldado of Galician Guard. The Soldado is then responsible for disciplining, training of Asociado.
