Dear Guildmembers, dear partner of the Gas Miners Guild,

We are happy to announce that today the first stage of the Defense Units Exchange Program has been completed. Experienced Sigma GMG fighters took an IMG Defense unit through the systems S13, S17, S19, Okinawa as well as the Home system.

We feel honoured about the trust we were shown and about the professionalism that our pilots were met with and experienced when they watched your pilots in action.

This channel remains open for reports of the participating wings. Reports will be sent in here, so that a data base can be started.

The Guild is grateful for this opportunity to share knowledge and skill and we are looking forward to the exchange that will take GMG members to the Taus.

Operation Report:

We RVed at Naha, even though Instructor Nolan already intercepted some Corsairs, it seems. I was too late for this. He will report on this.

1. RV at Naha:

The IMG Defense Group met at Gas Miner Naha and proceeded from there to S17, S19, Okinawa and the Guild's Home system.

2. GMG Shipyard in their home system

We were shown the heavily guarded home system and it was beautiful, and has the infrastructure one would expect. We could not take a closer look at a GMG Battleship in the nebula as our transponders were not good enough to safely go there.

3. The IMG Group with our GMG Guide Taruko Ishibashi

Mister Ishibashi was a very experienced guide who answered us many questions and told us fascinating stories about the GMG and their systems.

4. Visiting one out of 20 Gas Miners hidden in the nebulas

This is one of the Gas Miners that are hidden inside the nebulas. They are armored and armed, in order to be able to defend themselves against raids. The miners that work there are also armed.

5. Explosions in the Gas Fields

We did some tests in the gas fields and the explosions are intense. Fighters took great shield damage and hull as well as equipment were severely damaged rather quickly. Transport shields can withstand the explosions, however not indefinitely. When the shield is downed, hull and external components suffer damage quickly. Gunboat shields can resist the explosions fully.

6. The Remains of Freeport 7

We were shown the remains of Freeport 7. All the stories are a lot more real if you see the floating debris. It is a warning - not only to the GMG - that this part of space is dangerous.

This concludes my first report.
Data is being uploaded for further analysis as we are speaking.
