Sudden burst of light wakes up Trinity. She hears alarms in the background, and the sound of weapons being discharged. A lot she heard, but she's yet to see anything. Everything is white in front of her. Trying to feel her way around, she grabs on the pilots seat, and somehow manages to strap herself in.

"Autopilot, engage." she said, barely keeping her stomach inside. Still not knowing what's happening, trying to assess the situation.

"*-static-* engaged. Setti*-static-*rse to th*-static-*arest base." The AI was slowly dying, the ship itself was barely holding together.

Still trying to figure out what's going on around her, why she has no memory of her past, why everything feels so new to her, she starts crying out of desperation.

"There there, my child. Why are you shedding tears? This is a wonderful moment for you. You should feel happy you finally broke the chains that held you down in the past."

Mesmerized by the voice, she tries to stand herself up, but with no avail.

"W-who are y-you?" she asked.

"Oh, I am a good friend of yours. Now try to relax, you're going to the right direction. I wouldn't let you die on me now, not after everything I did for you to keep you from dying. That wouldn't be a good thing, now would it?"

"N-no... I g-guess. I-i.... I... feel dizzy..."

Suddenly, she passes out. The ships core stops producing vital energy required to move forward. The end is coming near.

"Wake up, my child."

A whisper, silent, yet clear as the nights sky. She hears it but she can't open her eyes.

"I am still waiting..."

She bursts to an upward position and prays that she can finally see. Luckily for her, she can.

"Oh.. oh.. thank you, thank you, thank you...."

Slowly yet steadily she gets up but doesn't recognize a thing. For her, everything is new. Without a memory of her past, nothing is the same.

"Where the hell did I wind up this time? God, I have an urge to drink..."

Moving around the apartment, she's desperately trying to find out where she is, who she is, and most importantly...

"...Alcohol! Thank you!"

Disregarding her manners, she starts drinking from the bottle.

"Nuh-uh, that's not what we're going to do, now is it?"

She watches the bottle drop and shatter into pieces. Stunned by the clarity of the voice, she's not moving.

"Who are you? And where am I? Who am I? And most importantly, who the hell are you?"

"I'm but a silent guardian of yours. I lead you on your path to the future, Miss D'Agostino. There's enough time for chitchatter. Take a seat, this will take a while."

She follows the order and takes a seat on the couch in the center of the living room. Looking out of the big panoramic windows, she sees a city of dreams.

After a long talk with "the voice" she keeps hearing, after absorbing the enormous amounts of information given to her in a small time frame, she's ready to speak. Finally.

"So, what you're saying is that I have no memory of my former life?"

"Correct."

"And that I, most likely, will never remember?"

"Again, correct."

"But how do I know you're not lying to me. I mean, obviously, thank you for everything, but still. You took a big risk to ensure I live..."

"You have nothing to thank me for. It was all you. You just don't realize that yet. Now. This apartment was yours, still is. Remember the ship? The one you stole? The one that got you here?"

"Uh... No? What are we talking about now?"

"Just... Take a look at the launching pad down below."

She stands up, and takes a look. It's a banged up Sabre, a modified version of one, at least to say.

"The shields saved you. If you took one shot more, it would've been the end of the road for you. Luckily, you know how to fly. Good job."

"Thanks, I guess. Do I get to keep it?"

"You do, indeed. It's all yours, but beware, it might be an eye-catcher. And you don't want that around here."

"Alright. Thanks for your help, voice. Am I going to see you, ever?"

"Maybe someday, when you're ready, my dear. But that's not any time soon."

"Oh. Alright. Thanks I guess."

The voice in her head disappears. She takes a seat on the couch, pops open a beer and looks out of the window. The panorama of Los Angeles is a beautiful sight, especially from a penthouse. Her past is slowly but steadily catching up to her. The seed is growing, and she is starting to loose herself.

"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

It was like a bad dream. Seeing images she can't comprehend, sensing the cold dark space on her skin. Jumping out of her bed, screaming as hard as she could, not knowing what she just experienced.

"Oh... Oh.... Oh....."

She gasps, trying to calm herself down, she runs towards the main room, trying to find something...

"Where is it? Where the hell is it when I need it!?"

After searching in her cabinet for a bit, she found what she was looking for.

"There it is. Precious alcohol."

After drowning her last night's dream in alcohol, she finally got the strength to stand herself up and look around the ship she recently found. Going down to the main floor, she notices many people looking at her, but at her surprise, she doesn't know why.

"I probably haven't applied my makeup properly. You stupid idiot." she thinks.

"Now, let's see what we can find in here."

She enters the ship from the cargo hold, trying to investigate the ship from the bottom up.

What she discovers is that the ship she currently owns was once in possession of a Raider. Marks inside the hull say so. She also found out that this Sabre was retrofitted with a custom Rheinland engine, a set of codename weaponry and 2 tons of light arms, all badly damaged.

By going through the ship and taking notes of all the damage, she finally found the exact amount of money needed for its full repair. 987.733 Sirius Credits. That's 977.733 Sirius Credits more then she currently has.

Testing the ship out, she notices it's still able to fly, but she had to take some stuff off of it. Codename weaponry was taken off, the custom engine was taken off, most of the valuable stuff was. She retrofitted the ship with old Fury 4's, Zoner weaponry.

Testing it out, the ship was running stable at 70 percent of it's power core active. It was time to earn the money she needed for repairs.

After fixing up the ship, she hops in the cockpit and starts up the engine. After a couple of tries, it finally starts.

"Alright. Let's see if I remember this correctly.."

She successfully launches in space. Looking around the beauty of the system, she gets sidetracked, and starts daydreaming. The silence is broken shortly by a passing LPI ship.

"This is Liberty Police Kappa 2, requesting to scan your cargo hold."

Still daydreaming, still thinking about the past couple of days, what happened, she doesn't hear the hails of the ship

"This is Liberty Police Kappa 2, are you alright in there?"

She finally snaps out and sees a ship 150 meters in front of her.

"Oh. Sorry, sorry. Go ahead."

After scanning her ship, the officer responds.

"Your cargohold is clear. But, you are flying a highly modified ship. I've picked you up from afar. It's nothing illegal but, your ship gives out strange readings. Are you the owner of this ship?"

"I am now. I found it scrapped, and repaired it a bit, so it can at least fly."

"Alright. By the way, are you looking to earn some money? I have VIPs on my ship, they need to be moved to Riverside. I may need some escort after all."

Being in dire need of credits, she doesn't think twice before accepting the job.

"Yes, I need alot of money, that is for sure. Engaging formation."

They've chatted for a while, until they reached Riverside station.

"Alright, we're here. Requesting permission to dock."

"Permission Granted. Welcome to Riverside. We have been expecting you." said the dock supervisor.

"You might want to wait up, we still got work to do."

She waited for Officer Upton to leave the station for about 30 minutes, but when she did...

"Trinity, are you still here?"

"I am, still waiting for you infront of the station. What took so long?"

"We've gotten the word that two unknown ships are approaching the base. You might want to ready your weapons, just in case. They're carrying uknown transponders. Looks like LSF's old transponders though. Still, keep on high alert."

While she was saying that, Trinity started feeling weird. The dreams are back. Ships of unknown origin, Liberty fighters, bombers, organic ships, small and big, started approaching her.

"Trinity? Hey, are you trying to sleep or something? We've got them on our scanners."

The silence was broken shortly after. She put her head up and seen two ships approaching them fast.

"This is Liberty Police Kappa 2. You are on a direct route to Riverside station bearing unknown transponders. Identify yourselves."

The silence was getting deeper and deeper, with the ships slowly but steadily changing their route. They were turning around. Before she completed her scan, the ships were out of the radar range.

"I've gotten a scan. Though it was not clear enough. I couldn't catch their full loadouts but it seemed like some new tech. Unused LSF transponders, jammed ID's. Most likely agents. It's nothing."

She knew something was up with those ships but, without enough information she was forced to leave it behind.

"Let's go, I've gotten reports that pirates are present in Pennsylvania. I've told you that I needed you for something else."

"Alright. Entering formation."

While moving towards Pennsylvania, they were discussing the previous event that happened. What she learned is that Officer Upton suspects of foreign agents posing as LSF, trying to collect military secrets. That or, that the ships' crews are infected. That made her think deeply about the things she started seeing as of lately. She definitely needed to find out more about them

Upon reaching the spot where pirate actions were reported, they were greeted by LSF and LPI officers.

Shortly after assessing the situation, the officers gave her the command to go and scout ahead. Finding several pirates, freelancers, but most importantly, the two unknown ships. They were watching from the side, trying not to get in range. Reporting back to the agents, leaving out the unknown ships from her report, she was ordered to leave the area as it was now under direct control of the Liberty Security Force.

She set the course towards Planet Erie and hoped for the agents to survive. What bothered her alot were the two ships. They left a huge scar in her mind, she couldn't spend a second not thinking about them. Time will show what will happen next.
