After reading reports about the repeated exchange of fire between you, defense assets and miners, and after reviewing the process that led to the destruction of ships on both sides, I would like to ask you: What do you want?

Look at this message as the only opportunity to end a vicious circle that has just begun.
I think everybody deserves a chance to have his say before final conclusions are made.

Internal Data Logs: #991638-A - Obsession - Maquis

1st Meeting: Defense questions pirating Maquis and takes him out

Summary: A Maquis bomber comes to the field. He "asks" for money. Defense is there fast enough. He pretends to just be a beggar who would of course not do anything. Standard procedure kicks in when he makes another threat. The threat is eliminated.

Today's meeting: Shishapangma transport near Tau 37 Freeport 10

Summary: The Maquis catches Ms. Morrow's transport near the Freeport. Unable to do much so close to the Freeport, he makes clear that there is no need for any discussion of what happened before. Consequently, the transmission that the IMG sent to him will likely not be answered.

3rd Attack:

Summary: The Maquis tried to intercept an IMG mining operation but was too late. Most transports and miners had already moved out, however a Gateway had some trouble with a Bowex, consequently he was caught by the Maquis. The Gateway denied payment of money, and called on Defense. Two ships responded and neutralized the threat in time for the transport to get to safety.
