We had a most pleasant conversation around the Freeport in 37 roughly a week and a half ago. You've been quite busy since we met, including a quite public and widely broadcast spectacle on Curacao.

I'd be interested in having another pleasant conversation with you and whomever of your followers you'd like to bring along, at a place of your choosing. If you're similarly interested, reply with the details along this frequency. I look forward to hearing from you.

A video message opens up on the comms panel, briefly displaying transmission details before cutting to Hana in the flightseat of her Orchid. The Hiryu cloud swirls past, the occasional gas mining rig passing by. Two blossoms can be seen flying in escort formation. A gentle smiles breaks across her lips, as she moves her attention to the camera from her scanner display.

"Konnichiwa Mendes-san,

Has it only been that long since our paths crossed near Freeport 10? It feels like longer, yet I can still recall our conversation. It is one of those moments where destinies change and fate reveals a new path."

"I've found caution to be a close ally in recent times. A request such as this is usually born of a particular motive, and I wonder what it is in this case..."She looks out of the cockpit screen for a moment, deep in a thought. After a moment she nods slowly and readdresses the camera.

"Concerning your request, the pleasantness would be mutual in any case. Shall we meet in Mallorcan orbit this evening? If my Sisters are available, they may join us."

Konnichwa Mendes-san,

It was indeed a pleasure to speak with you again, for it has been awhile since our last minute. A shame that the conversation had to move through the real purpose of the meeting as quickly as it did. As such, I've sent this missive as a follow up to our conversation.

Concerning the first point of business, equipment and technology is already shared between other Chrysanthemum organisations and yourselves. Even if we wished to deny your request, it would not change your access to it. Even so, we see no reason to oppose this.

As to the second port of call. We do indeed seek materials, transports and other assets that would make our operations smoother and stable. However, what you ask for in return is too vague. To agree to support you in 'crusades' without knowing how they impact Kusari, how they fit in with the Dream of Yuyu Matsuda or how they may effect other organisations we call allies is something we simply cannot do. I'm sure you can understand this position.

However, this does not mean we do not wish to follow up on the topic and due to the time constraints of our discussion I believe it is worth spending more time considering the issue. I'd like to invite you to more talks in the future where perhaps some proposition may be reached.

Signora,

I understand your position and am not surprised at all by it. Frankly, had you blindly accepted, some in my organization might have been tempted to take you for fools, and nobody wants that. Unfortunately further talks on this subject must be delayed until I have more information from Command. They are 'keeping their cards close to their chests' on the matter.

As for asking your permission for your tech - would you not have been at least slightly offended had we simply taken what we wished of yours and left without a word to you on the matter? Come now. It doesn't matter if we have connections with other organizations or not...it would have been rude of us.

I am still interested in that list of critical items you and your organization needs. Even if you and your sisters cannot aid us directly in the coming months, supporting your cause from the shadows and advancing the Dream is something we should want to do anyway. You can leave the list, and a destination (presumably that little secret you showed me a day ago, but one knows what they say about assumptions) here on this frequency and I will see about getting the supplies to you. Perhaps this initial effort will lead to a more reliable supply chain in the future.

Perhaps we might speak of philosophy at our next encounter, if we have the time. I am most curious to see how your sisterhood has grown since that initial conversation in 37.
