Konnichiwa.

Today I took a small wing of agents out into the remote areas of Kusari and a little beyond. The patrol was lead by my self two additional agents and was first assembled at Matsu Base in Hiroshima. The patrol set off towards the Tohoku system in an attempt to patrol the area and aquire any intelligence possible in regards to the 'Arch' as well as ensuring no unauthorised ships were in the area.

Agents were breifed before entering the system regarding the special 'nature' of Tohoku and the arch it's self, upon entering the system the wing was hailed by the Sedo and were given the all clear to begin their sweep of the system. I first ordered the wing to fly to the Arch and approach from below where we were met by a small wing of uknown vessles that fired upon us, after a breif exhange of fire the situation was brought under controll and the pilots captured. There was no sign of any majour activity around the arch although we did a second sweep just to be sure.

Upon leaving the immediate vacinity of the arch the patrol swept the nearby nebula where the known dragon base 'Ryuku' is situated a very breif sweep of the area detected nothing out of the ordinary, no Blood Dragon vessles were encountered although multipal automated weapon platforms did open fire upon us forcing us to divert course.

Upon further exploration of the more remote parts of the Tohoku system the wing decided to investigate a jump hole where they were met by imature nomad vessles and were forced into an engagment. Suspecting the nomads must have come through the jump hole, we entered the system where it was immediatly clear that our navigational equipment was some how rendered useless. Regardless the wing made them selves a foot hold around the jump hole and secured the immediate area.

Upon discussion with the agents in the wing we agreed to continue forward and try and track down the possobile source for the nomad vessles, after some time exploring and encountering numerous imature nomad patrolls some kind of structure was encountered and quickly became apparent of our pressence. Within moments the wing found it's self under heavy fire from mutipal turrets from the structure as well as nomads that had been dispached to the area. Amoungst the conflict we managed to aquire a variety of guncam shots of the structure and the weaponry it employed as well as establising some kind of unkown enterance to the structure.

The wing made a hastey retreat and one agent was recalled to base regarding a seperate assignment. My self and 'Epsilon 3' continued to explore the system until we encountered some kind of jumphole that lead us to a system which we now beleive to be named 'Omicron Minor', a system once owned by the order and beleived to be their former base of operations. It was quickly established human life no longer excists in the system and a breif sweep of the area uncovered numerous wrecks including a former battleship.

I made the decision at this point to return to Kusari space in order to ensure our saftey. Upon returning to Tohoku my self and 'Epsilon 3' docked and de-breifed of the Sado before undergoing routine integrity checks to ensure there was no 'infection' from any possible nomad or wilde contact. We remain on Sado for the next few hours while we aquire some rest.

Konbanwa Command, this is Agent "Karasu no Kage", reestablishing communications. Previous transmissions can be found here .

Here follows some reports of operations that happened in the last weeks.

On the 6th of the current month, I departed on the command of a Ahoudouri surveillance vessel [old operation callsign "KPT)Kagemusha"], and joined an ongoing KPT and KNF operation on the Tau region.

We located one Gallic gunboat vessel, of the Unione Corse [UC]V-Cannoniere (1) , and one Blood Dragon agent on a gunboat, Mato.Kuroi (1). The Blood Dragon was assaulted and driven to the Freeport 6, where it docked with heavy damage. 1 2

After continuing the patrol through the Tau-23 and Kyushu system without further incidents, the operation ended near Tsushima depot, where we detached from the KNF patrol. 1 2

--------------------

On the 7th, I launched on a fast recon ship to join an ongoing KPT operation in Tau-29 and Baffin system.

As I made contact with the patrol on the Baffin system, they were involved in some discussion between resident Zoners and a suspicious Rheinland patrol. They bore symbols of Rheinland special ops, but also unconventional equipment.

Zoner vessel was [TAZ]Chaoticity . 1

Unknown Rheinland agents were the following:

Das.Elend (Bergelmir Bomber) 1
Der.Henker (Wraith VHF) 1 2
BDM|U-177 (Rheinland GB class)

While I wasn't able to understand the true reasons for their judgement, the rheinlanders were ordered to assault the zoner. Senior Agent Aika Kyoko ordered us to engage the rheinlanders to safeguard the zoner, and another transport who had came to his help.

1 2 3

Situation got complicated in many ways. A rheinland gunboat appeared mid combat to support the raiders, and an additional pilot with Libertonian markings, D9|Kobold , appeared as their reinforcements.

BDM gunboat<br> 2 D9|Kobold

The TAZ launched a Cruiser for their defense [TAZ]Curiosity , and the transport and freelancer were safely evacuated. We however had pilots Aika Kyoko and Issei Hanegawa neutralized, but recovered.

1

As we lost numbers but had achieved the important objective, I managed to exfiltrate the agents from the area back to Kusari.

There is a need to investigate this Rheinland operation in the Taus, and their links to the Liberty's D9 group.

To all operatives

There is concern for the safety and security of the Nagano system following reports made to the naval forces and Kempeitai. It appears that the Blood Dragons have strengthened their presence within the system as seen in recent weeks following a large attack on an Samura mining outpost, and the direct confrontation between naval forces and blood dragons involving capital ships on both sides.

Further investigation and intelligence is required to gain the severity of the threat in Nagano and a decision has been taken to move additional Kempeitai assets into the area.

Operational Objective:

Secure all Kusari assets in the Nagano system.
Investigate the rumours of dragon capital ships in the area.
To intercept and destroy all and any blood dragons within the area

Hankan Taitero Sakusen Kyoku (反間 対テロ作戦 局 - Counterintelligence and Anti-terrorism Bureau- Hantaisaku)

The political and criminal situation in Kusari has become volatile in recent months, and our recent efforts to contain this trend have been lacking. The situation in Nagano is definitely the most concerning, specifically the reports of large numbers of Blood Dragon capital class vessels operating on the attacks on Tomioka. This was outside of our expectations, and it seems the KNF was not expecting it either.

Reports of redeployments of KNF to the systems, including Tohoku, have been consistent. We must pay attention that their operations don’t interfere with the ones conducted by ourselves and SAI. Closer collaboration with the Kusari State Police is advised, since we can hand over the petty criminal cases we may find, in exchange for more valuable information on their reports.

Influence of Gallic interests inside the Government agencies and the Naval Forces is considered substantial, but we need more concrete evidence. Such influence could jeopardy Kusari status and interests, and the Hantaisaku mission demands constant prevention against such outside influences.

Investigation of other foreign agents and organizations plotting to disrupt Kusari or aiding the internal dissidents is to be conducted alongside KSP criminal investigations. Guidelines for intervention will be published in the near future for field operations and their agents.

The Hantaisaku requests authorization to investigate the activities of the Kusari Imperial remnant forces in a non-confrontational manner. They might provide the best alternative for a government dedicated to Kusari, should the current Republican regime be overtaken by groups closely aligned to Gallia or reveal to be easily manipulated by non-national interests. In addition, we also request the collaboration of the Jouhouka in assessing the current links between the Imperial Remnant forces and other houses, namely the support they receive from Bretonian interests. Chances that these “exiles” are puppets to Liberty or Bretonian intelligence efforts are not to be discarded yet.

Finally, we must not ignore observation of corporate activities inside Kusari. Samura and Kishiro have shown remarkable low political movements in response to the cases of Nagano and imperial revivalism. It is possible that they are working through proxy organizations, as it is documented. Special mention of the Hogosha, who have shown little interest in both hotspots, but are rumored to be bringing uncommon amounts of field weapons and ammunition into Kusari, even specialised vehicles.
This concludes the report from the Hantaisaku bureau.

Taigai Jouhou Ka (対外情報 課 - Foreign Intelligence Section)

The section capabilities are in an appalling state, with most of our out of borders operation codes and procedures obsolete and probably compromised.

The Jouhouka will perform a reevaluation of the current situation in the coming days, and proceed to the cycling of the current liaison contingent stationed on the Kusari embassies. The section also requests to be allocated a reasonable budget to proceed to recruitment of new sources and collaborators in Kusari or on site.

The section will assign the current political issues of Kusari as the priority investigation focus. Rumours of a contention point with the Gas Miners Guild, and increased anti-Kusari activity in the Sigma region will be looked upon.

Contacts with the organization Core have been reestablished. They promise cooperation in matters related to the Omicrons, and even military assistance against dissidents outside Kusari core systems. If their operational capabilities prove worthy, they could become an important asset in securing neighbouring regions.

Reviewing contacts with the Rheinland intelligence services is to be pursued, as we have received some communications that might imply a change of goals from Rheinland. To be determined if legitimate. Previous reports of Rheinland intelligence working in the Taus are concerning, and the Agency must keep a watch on these activities. Rheinland goals in the Taus are to be determined.

The war between the House of Gallia and the Houses of LIberty and Bretonia rages on, if outside news are to be considered reliable. While direct or indirect involvement in the conflict is not in Kusari best interests, the Jouhouka will perform observation operations in the near Tau systems, to identify any expansion of the conflict that might affect the Kusari territory or its security.
This concludes the report from our section.

Signal and Alien Investigation Bureau (SAI)

The SAI has been resuming its research department activities, namely the projects based on Kansai Research Station. One of the projects has achieved a new breakthrough, and will permit new possibilities for the SAI, and perhaps the Hantaisaku, to improve their surveillance efforts within Kusari. More details of the project will be presented soon.

There is interest within the research department to continue the line of research about detection and neutralization of infested entities, with the final aim of faster identification and recovery of possessed humans. Research into adaptive technology of nomad elements into human made equipment and processes is also encouraged.

Regarding the decryption and signal department, there have been no new signal sources of unknown origin that required examination. The department has fallen back on its task of keeping up with the decoding efforts of civilian and commercial encryption protocols, but we project a recovery in a matter of weeks for most Kusari based encryptions, if the Agency authorizes the requested budget.

As for the Alien Investigation affairs, we have been keeping a close watch to Tohoku hotspot as per previous directives. A few encounters with Nomads in the Hokkaido and Kyushu systems have been reported as well, sometimes related to human contacts as well. SAI and the Agency as a whole must determine which elements may trigger Nomad presence in Kusari systems, and develop measures to counter it or exploit it.

At the moment the SAI measures the level of Nomad infiltration on state sensitive agencies as low, with the last reports of capture of infected agents dating more than a month now. Constant watch of any traffic that might head to and from Tohoku is enforced by the SAI.
This concludes our report.

Tokumu (特務 - Special Duty)

The Special Duty is assembling its teams and agents to guarantee operationality whenever the GDI requires. Nothing else to report at the moment.

Signal and Alien Investigation Bureau (SAI)

Situational Overview and Briefing of Kempeitai Operations in Tohoku

With the reformed Kempeitai, a large section is now dedicated to surveillance of the system ‘Tohoku’ and the entities that are encountered within. The Bureau gathers intelligence on every ship and individual that has been seen entering, exiting, or otherwise being directly involved with the location and the Arch, as well as attempting to capture suspects for interrogation on their ties with the groups that are operating in the system. It is known that the system is a hotspot for Nomads, infectees and their collaborators. Everyone encountered is treated with great suspicion and recorded. The Heaven’s Gate is given special priority and any individual witnessed interacting with the station is to be immediately detained for interrogation and scanned for infection.

Given that the Arch has significant defensive capabilities as well as patrols equipped with enhanced equipment and are piloted by the possessed, it is deemed too dangerous to gather information on the station and its inhabitants directly. Instead of the traditional manner of information gathering, SAI instead gathers information on the ships and individuals that have been spotted interacting with the system and capture away from the defences and patrols of Heaven’s Gate.

The system is primarily monitored by personnel active in the system and away from the dangers of the Arch. A heavy focus is placed on the exits of the system, namely the Okinawa and Hokkaido jump holes. The Omicron-92 jump hole is known, but is deemed too dangerous to interact with as the system effectively scrambles electronics of the ships entering it, causing ships to lose orientation and getting lost in the system.

The SAI Bureau keeps a close eye on Battleship Sado and patrols that are originating from there. There are Kempeitai sleeper agents stationed on the battleship, reporting unusual incidents and signs of infection. The Naval Forces patrols in the system are also monitored during their flight for odd behaviour and signs of infection. Some patrols have are accompanied by Kempeitai operatives, as the skirmishes inside the system open a window for information gathering closer to Heaven’s Gate than normally possible.

The Bureau attempts to retrieve all skirmish wreckage and take custody of all the participants of battles that happen in Tohoku. The wreckage is thoroughly looked through for unusual technology and readings, especially Adapted Nomad weaponry and alien artifacts such as power cells. The collected useful debris is then given to scientists for study, or attempted to put them to use on Kempeitai ships, if such an opportunity is plausible. The captured infectees are at first interrogated, then handed over to scientists to study the infection and find a way to cure the individuals that were infected. The SAI Bureau plans to contact the pharmaceutical company Cryer Pharmaceuticals discretely, in order to assist in research and development of the cure, as well as find a way to discover infectees more effectively.

With advancements in technology that are soon to be reached, the SAI Bureau plans to add listening outposts and sensors in discrete locations to monitor communication activity as well as patrol flight paths and odd behaviour of other entities in the system.

Konbanwa Command, this is Agent "Karasu no Kage", reestablishing communications after a long while. Today I have gathered some crew and launched a survey operation to Kyushu border and Tau region. We departed on the recon gunboat Ha-603.

At the begging we located a Plaentform convoy arriving from the Tau-29 system. We stopped them for a while to check their shipping details and situation. We found out they were heading to territory of the Core, with a cargo of Gaian Wildlife. Questions about the relation of Planetform and Core were made, as well as the situation of Planetform convoys in the Tau systems. Communication logs follow.

1 2
1 2

The following part of the survey, we crossed the Tau-29 system, inspecting the situation on Nago station, Freeport 6, Shinkaku Station, and then heading to the Tau-23 passage. Nothing odd to report.

On Tau 23, we proceeded to Java station. On the location we noticed the presence of Battleship Guillestre of the Gallic Royal Navy providing overwatch on the station, instead of its previous position on the Languedoc Gate to Gallic space. It seems the Gallics have preformed some relocations in the past month or so, to better entrench their hold on the systems. Strong electronic systems prevented me from docking or gathering additional data from it.

1

Our ship proceeded to the Tau-31 system through the Gallic held routes, where the same hard electronic defenses were present on the Gallic held bases, jumpgates and defense platforms.

1

In the Tau-31 system, out of Holman outpost, we encountered an unexpected agent of the Core, and engaged in a conversation with it. The interrogation provided great results. First, it is noted that although possesses no establishments or large forces in the Tau region, it has made efforts to establish a presence here.
Second, the reason of such presence is related to Nomad encounters in the region. While he would not say what frequency and type of encounters, he informed us that their presence was probably connected to the activities of the Outcast organization Crimson Cross.
Reports detail the Crimson Cross as the most numerous Outcast force to appear near Kusari in the recent months, and it's suspected a close supporter of the movements of the GC. Adding to this situation an unconfirmed link to Nomad intervention poses a serious issue to Kusari security.
The Core agent, callsign Epsilon, was most cooperative, and Core presence in the Tau region might improve our recon levels in the area faster than projected. Visual and communication logs follow.

1 2 3
1 2

During my passage in the Tau-31 system, I was able to observe some flow of patrols from the Gallic Royal Navy, including a Valor class Battleship en route to the frontlines in Leeds or Bretonia.

1 2

Also new Gallic outpost near Holman, and a GRN Battleship keeping guard over Planet Harris in the system.

1 2

We proceeded to return to Kyushu territory. During our operation, we have captured several agents of the Outcasts, GC, and Blood Dragons. Their equipment has been handed over to the KNF at Nagumo, and the prisoners brought to our regional quarters in Planet Kyushu. After interrogation, they will be handed over to the KSP for the criminal charges. We expect little results from the interrogations though.

1

I have noticed that the recon gunboat used has been marked for modernization procedures, and has been sent to the shipyard. It has been given a new designation according to the new KPT directives.

Kempei Karasu.no.Kage here, with a report of a patrol performed in Kyushu.

After reports of disturbances in the system by outlaws, the Kempeitai performed a small patrol along the main trade routes of the system. Kempei Airi Kurokawa and me were accompanied by Hideaki Ishikawa from the KNF, a known pilot.

Our sweep on the tradelanes revealed nothing unusual. Upon inspecting the perimeter of the Planet Aso, I stumbled upon a Samura convoy of a transport and a gunboat, together with a sutinga with old class Naval Forces transponder.

1 2

1 2 3

My wingmate and the KNF soon reached us, and we questioned the presence of the escort pilot and the purpose of the convoy. We determined that Samura had arranged a clandestine convoy of supplies to Shinkaku, for fear of attacks on common transports. The Exile presence seemed coincidental, and worked to their benefit when they were assaulted by Blood Dragons sometime before they were found by us. They mentioned being diverted off course, and sending emergency signals system wide, but neither me or the others had received any of these.

1 2 3 4 5

The KNF pilot was interested in detaining the exile. We abstained to meddle into the KNF internal affairs, as the pilot was... a kind of deserter to the current Naval Forces admiralty.

Fortunately we didn't had to intervene either way, as the KNF had to depart, and delegated the matter to us. We decided to escort them to Shinkaku, and get to know more of this matter.

We got some details about Samura operations and security in the Tau-29 system, but not enough to understand their cooperation with the {343} pilot. Perhaps the exile was operating solely out of his old duty, but I wonder if there was some deeper meaning to their joint presence.

1

The convoy arrived safely at Shinkaku, and we were to contact the Shinkaku director for more details about these Samura "secret" assignments, as the pilots were not speaking coherently enough to extract enough information from them.

1 2

Me and Kurokawa left the convoy at Shinkaku and returned to Kyushu. On the way we met another Kempei, callsign Gal.Gryphon, and regrouped at Tsushima for another assignment due later that day.

Kempei Karasu.no.Kage. A delayed report of a major recon mission made to the front lines of the Liberty state against Gallia, as ordered on Operation Farside Watchman.

Our team assembled on Tsushima Depot for departure. Using civilian hardware and some cover papers for a front trading company, we had a survey freighter, Tengu's_Treasure , set up with some goods to disguise the equipment. Me and and Kempei Kurokawa, under the callsign Falz Angel were to provide escort and scouting, under the leadership of a Kempei Agent designated Gal.Gryphon .

We departed on time from Tsushima to the Baffin corridor, a common passage for underworld shippers and other low life pilots in the fringes of the Bretonian and Libertonian Houses.

[Image: WpYjs4Js.png] [Image: IpDI3Rfs.png] [Image: F0ELc43s.png] [Image: qmTCbZYs.png]

We crossed the Baffin system and the Coronado system without much contact with any ships. No zoners or strange nomad acolytes in Baffin, no Junker or smugglers around the Barrier Gate Station, still standing within the clouds like the last time I've seen it.

Gryphon orientated our party to the following passages that brought us to a system bordering Liberty. Data revealed it was the [color=#40FF00]Cortez
independent system.

We arrived at the orbit of Curacao, known resort planet. From here on our real mission would start.

[Image: 2IYbV3vs.png] [Image: lKw4qvos.png]

We were surprised not only for the lack of commercial traffic at the time, but also for the lack of any evidence of military patrol by any belligerent group of the region. No sign of Libertonians or Bretonians, nor of Gallic Royal Forces.

Not wanting to delve right into the more complicated areas, we sought first for a passage that would lead us to the Magellan system. The nebula cover allowed us to scour most of the main routes undisturbed.

We passed by the gate to Manchester first. The area was deserted, supposedly the position is untenable, and does not possess any permanent garrison on the Magellan side. Operation directives prohibited to intrude on the bretonian territory, so we moved the other way into the Freeport 4 vicinity.

The Freeport was peaceful when we passed by, very few signs of combat were present, but they were still there. Lack of military patrols could represent the wish from either side to not drag the fireworks near the neutral outpost intentionally, although we all know that things don't go as by the plan when combat is occurring.

[Image: AU90D5hs.png] [Image: 0qcD8sxs.png]

One freelancer trader was in transit in the area, but neither their activity or cargo was of interest.

Gryphon directed us to go recon the Gallic frontline first. There were traces of frequent activity coming from a faraway direction, and we proceeded that way until we started picking a stable radio chatter in Gallic. We stumbled upon a staging area under surveillance of a GRN battleship Carcassone.

The sight of one of these is always something to awe at, but we couldn't perform a detailed inspection of said vessel without raising the alert. Photographic records and emission readings taken by the Tengu'sTreasure will have to do for now.

The location of the Battleship and the royal navy patrols and transports revealed the next step of our recon, a passage to controlled territory in Leeds system. While the Gallic had us under watch, they deemed not important to question the passage of this kusarian convoy of ours.

[Image: NWFV5wjs.png] [Image: BDmLkx1s.png]

We entered the Leeds system via this passage, and threaded the sickly rusty smog into clear space near the Planet orbit, above the cloudy skies.

[Image: eqJ1TtTs.png] [Image: eiRqx2Ts.png]

There a surprise awaited us, the remnants of a large Gallic Battleship drifted, as some sort of reminder of a recent battle. It was odd that the Gallics did not dared to work on the salvage of this specific vessel.

With some caution and artfulness we had the Tengu's scan the wreck more detailedly, with particular attention to the exposed interior structures and disposition, and the results of several high caliber weaponry. External breaches and internal explosions all contributed to the demise of this vessel. We also recovered some hull parts and scrap components for posterior analysis. Most likely will be useful for when the time comes when we will be the ones needing to hit these beasts, and our weapons must be the best perform such task.

[Image: yaJuMBCs.png] [Image: jtwUuhis.png]

We moved along the northern lane, destroyed and battered in many places, up to Stokes Mining Station. The Gallic companies have done a poor job in recovering any production from Leeds. Most likely they are more interested in drying up any known mineral reserves in the Taus, and consider Leeds as an unstable buffer while the GRN doesn't manage to press further inwards into Bretonia, and pacify the planet itself.

[Image: Ad36wD7s.png] [Image: 018ctEvs.png]

Gryphon turned the convoy around and we made the return trip back to Magellan, alongside the Gallic convoys heading to the front lines. We arrived at the Freeport 4 for refueling and ressuply for the second leg of the mission.

Gryphon trusted the quality of our identification credentials, and that it was good enough to try a direct approach into entering Liberty space. While we were sporting transponders derivative from the Kusari military transports, we hoped our "protectorate" cover would be enough to dispel most suspicion from us. I advised caution nonetheless.

We crossed the lanes into the California gate, and after checking our transponders were not triggering a negative response, we jumped into the Libertonian territory.

San Diego station, longstanding border station in Liberty's geography, looked battered from very recent combats, and a few considered that it probably wouldn't last long if the Gallic forces kept assaulting it.

[Image: RZ22ZGvs.png] [Image: pijGW3ls.png]

We transmitted our papers to the outpost, and a inexpressive response was what we received. The station probably is at the time of the operation working with the minimum personnel, acting as a watchtower for Gallic incursions not performing any customs inspections at all.

Some distance away, but close enough to the area to cause some concern, we spotted yet another GRN Battleship deployed, Limay.
That the Gallics are staging and operating with full force within California is telling of the recent developments of the war, and something that the news and traffic flow coming into Shikoku reveal.

[Image: THfCuYbs.png] [Image: Ya5hrkGs.png] [Image: whK2a75s.png]

We opted for an off course flight to California Minor, passing south of the Tahoe Ice cloud. On approach to the planet however, we found the first of the advance warning patrols of the Liberty navy, even though it was a lone bomber on patrol.

We struck conversation with the pilot, while continuing on impulse to the planet. The Libertonian was obviously concerned with the KNF transponders, and we did the best we could to assure of him no harm was intended.

[Image: 6Orublhs.png] [Image: 6dHzA10s.png] [Image: ImqrBLus.png] [Image: ILVQZkqs.png] [Image: 2lgltTQs.png]

As we reached California Minor however, a commotion began to gather on our location. While it is possible that the LN patrol had sent word of our presence to their command chain as being something suspicious, we were greeted by some strange forces awaiting on our arrival.

[Image: yXnTtB7s.png] [Image: RPzy2OXs.png] [Image: lSgmvcXs.png]

The Navy patrolman went to full alert when he noticed the other "naval ships", and warned us that they belonged to some terrorist organization. I was quite unaware of any large event of desertion on the Liberty Navy in the past year to have this expression, but the war must be causing quite a chaos on their ranks.

The prospect of a fight between Libertonian forces involving us was to be avoided at all costs, lest it revealed our identity. I urged Gryphon to have the convoy escape whenever able, using the confusion caused.

Seems I have escaped alone at first, but managed to regroup with Gryphon and Falz, and we headed to a passage to Cortez for extraction.

On arrival on the second regroup point, we got word that Tengu was being delayed still inside Califronia. While not under immediate danger, her ship retrieval was critical for the mission. Gryphon and Falz went back to recover Tengu, while I went ahead to scout the exit to Coronado for a all clear.

During this tense part, I kept some message communications with the team as they were in California. Their encounter with LSF agents was a bad situation, but according to their responses, they managed to maintain their cover until their return.

The appearance of a Nomad on the field in California robbed us the chance to escape without losses however, as the convoy was attacked while holding conversations with said LSF. Falz ship was critically damaged but our agent was able to eject and be recovered by Tengu. The ensuing combat between Liberty forces to neutralize the Nomad gave them the window of opportunity to exfiltrate California.

Regrouping in Cortez, and avoiding an outcast patrol that passed by, we proceeded at full speed back to Kusari space, arriving at Nansei for the conclusion of the mission and debriefing.

[Image: 8CZ1u8Js.png] [Image: QZWtoCrs.png]

Mission outcome:

The mission was a partial success. Readings of the Tengu'sTreasure and the samples taken from Leeds, together with the recon from most of the Gallic staging areas, might provide a somewhat accurate analysis of the Gallic war effort regarding Liberty.

On the Libertonian side, results were meager. We did not locate any patrols or staging points in Cortez or Magellan, and our investigation in California did not revealed much before it had to be aborted. Hopefully reports by other might shed some light on the LSF action and Nomad sighting in California.

The loss of the ship of Kempei Kurokawa, under the callsign Falz Angel should provide little trouble. The Saishi model was carrying Desinfectors Mk.II and Kusari standard engines, but the fail-secure measures on the ship blackbox and operating systems should have erased any useful data with great certainty.

The Jouhouka should investigate the status of the groups [HF] and Liberty Navy deserters, which managed to show up in numbers during our operation.

Greetings agents, good work these past weeks.

I am Amaoka Hiroshi, one of the current Directors of the General Intelligence Directorate, field designation [Tenmon]. Any communications to me outside of internal Kempeitai channels are to use that name as reference.

I bring to you a new directive from the GID, effective to all field agents immediately.

Directive K01.823

The condition of the former Imperial Naval Forces group, identified as "Exiles" has been raised to special status. They are not to be considered enemies of the Agency, and no hostile actions should be initiated against them. This covers any pilot flying under their banners. Pilots or organizations supporting their efforts are not covered under this directive.

In cases of hostile situations between KNF/KSP and Exiles, agents are to decline involvement in the combat. Same goes for any requests coming from the Exiles against the Republican law enforcement.

This directive is under status 3 of the Kempeitai directives. That means to you to follow the directive, but not divulge it's contents to 3rd parties.

That is all for now.

Amagaoka Hiroshi, [Tenmon]
General Intelligence Directorate, Kempeitai Agency.

Transmission Terminated.
