Greetings.

My name is Milton Birch and I am the current head of logistics for our company, Wisp Innovations. We are a subsidiary of Cryer Pharmaceuticals that seeks to expand into sectors previously overlooked by Cryer.

One of those sectors is of course Crete. I know that Cryer used to supply your home with pharmaceuticals, Synthetic Marijuana and other such supplies and we would continue to do the same. Our transport division has already completed several runs of Med-Stasis Bands from Cambridge to Crete (cargo manifests are available upon request, should you need a verification).

However, we would require a bit of assistance in return. From what we know, the members of hostile groups - Outcasts and Golden Chrysanthemums have recently increased their presence in the Sigmas, and that is worrying for our operations. While Outcasts are generally repelled by the GMG, we have strong presumptions that the Golden Chrysanthemums are in a friendly or even cordial relationship with the gas miners. For that we would welcome a bit of support in Sigma-17.

Unfortunately because of... organisational reasons we cannot allow Corsairs ships on Atka itself, other than for quick repairs and refittings. However I have happened to pass by your outpost in Sigma-13, Lagos. It is not a very long ways away and it would make for a perfect place for staging Corsair patrols around Atka, into Sigma-17 and elsewhere.

In return we would provide you with the Med-Stasis Bands, Synthetic Marijuana and other goods that would be at our disposal.

Hoping for a positive response,
Milton Fitzgerald Birch

Quote:'Ola, mr. Milton Fitzgerald Birch. It have been quite a few months since I've last heared of Cryer ships in our area. 'Good to have you back' is what I'd want to say. Although with high demand of pharmaceuticals and other medical supplies for our people we had to seek other routes for our needs. Currently we got friends from local Zoner and Gaian groups to help us with medicine. They do great job I have to admit. But, not enough for all our people. We still lack proper and steady supply lines. Sigma side especially, and I suppose here is exactly the moment you can step forward into the scene, si?

The Brotherhood, as you may know, increased our presense in Sigmas lately. We have made severall successful operations against Blood Dragons, Golden Chrysanthemums, Outcasts and Gas Miners. Our second Rheinland front benefits from that. Your request is easy to fulfil because... we already fulfil'ing it? (smiles) And we will keep doing so too.
Anyway, you are most welcome to sell us any medical supplies you can spare. We got quite rich lately and can pay you with real money, rather then artifacts as we usually do. I will order my amigos to ensure security of your cargo ships in our turf, but keep one eye always open, just in case.

Signed, Elder Raul Lopez

Hasta la vista,
la dignidad, el honor, el orgullo.

Mr Lopez,

It is good to hear that you are able to assist our ships in your own territory, that is most commendable. However we have some... concerns as far as Atka's security is concerned. We have enough escort ships to provide security to our transports against occasional pirate attacks - which don't happen that often quite honestly - but Outcast and GC patrols were harassing our in-space storage depots and patrol wings around the Sigmas.

Having seen that you are indeed open to cooperation, I have drafted a suggested agreement for both parties to sign.

Quote:Cooperation agreement - Wisp Innovations and The Brotherhood

1. Wisp Innovations, LLC. ("Wisp Innovations") agrees to provide regular deliveries of Med-Stasis Bands to Planet Crete, Omicron Gamma, as well as deliveries of Pharmaceuticals, Stabiline and Synthetic Marijuana available upon request.

2. The Brotherhood agrees to transfer additional rewards to Wisp Innovations' transports for the deliveries of the commodities mentioned in paragraph 1.
• Med-Stasis Bands - 1000$/unit
• Pharmaceuticals - 2000$/unit
• Stabiline - 400$/unit
• Synthetic Marijuana - 1000$/unit

3. Wisp Innovations will establish an encrypted permanent communication channel between Atka Research Station and Lagos Depot, which will be used by both parties for emergency assistance requests.

4. The Brotherhood and affiliated parties (such as the Cretean Empire, later: "Corsairs") will deploy appropriate forces from Lagos Depot or elsewhere upon receiving an emergency assistance request from Wisp Innovations' ships.

5. Wisp Innovations' security assets will assist Corsairs against any threats within the Sigma-17 system as well as against ships belonging to the Maltese Nation ("Outcasts") and Golden Chrysanthemums ("GC") elsewhere upon receiving an emergency assistance request.

The above is of course an initial draft, you are welcome to submit any corrections you think are appropriate.

Yours sincerely,
Milton F. Birch
Wisp Innovations

Greetings,

I was told on Crete that Mr Lopez was enjoying his well-earned break. With that in mind I'd like to inform you of the current state of this project and the deliveries that have been conducted.

Wisp Innovations transports have in total delivered 71035 units of Med-Stasis Bands and 4220 units of Pharmaceuticals to Planet Crete, as per the agreement signed with Mr Lopez. Unfortunately the immediate proof of that was lost in a major data failure that happened several months back, but I trust that he is a man of his word and will confirm that in person.

According to the prices given to you, the bonus paid out should total to $79 475 000 credits. We would also like to receive a message from the leader of the group stationed on Lagos once they get there, so that we know that the second part of our agreement is done.

Yours faithfully,
Milton Fitzgerald Birch
Wisp Innovations Head of Logistics
