After months stalled pending discussion from the patrons of the Takarabune holding, we have been given a green light to start project Benzaiten's Shroud. Section 0 of the project has begun work in our installations in Planet Junyo, but we need to start considering potential sites to develop the other more advances phases of the project. The original proposal relied on the availability of the Sakurajima Complex facilities, but that project has also seen it's development stalled on paper by the higher ups.

We had word from our master The Fisherman that talks there could be an exchange of experts with the Gaians in the near future, many of them coming to nearby installations to learn about ambient control and containment techniques of Kusari. Perhaps some of them could be persuaded to join our research as well.

In the financial and material department, installations for the initial phase are secured, and prime matter is abundant in Junyo. We are lacking in the financial resources, as the Conglomerate has provided only 45% of the initial projected budget and ordered us to self-finance the rest trough commercial operations of the Takarabune companies.

Some progress has been made in this phase goals. Company vessels have made a profit of 27 million credits which have been allocated to Benzaiten.

Furthermore, one of our envoys managed to reach Torshavn Spaceport with several supplies to the Gaians, as well a few of our experts that will study with the Gaians several fields of technical expertise. That matter is the responsibility of the Takarabune main branch, so I do not know the full details.

Hopefully, our agents will convince the Gaians of lending some of their own men to aid us in our research.

Company operations have netted another 35 million credits which have been allocated to Benzaiten. We have achieved 62% of our phase 1 funding goals.

We have delayed our contact with the Gaians for requesting technicians, as it seems that they are somewhat understaffed this month. We should be able to question them if they have some manpower available for us. In the meantime, more shipments of engine components, kusari researchers and other materials can continue.
