Following a fruitful discussion with Ageira Innovations, construction of a replacement docking ring and mooring fixture to those damaged in fighting in orbit of Planet Kurile has begun. Deep Space Engineering has erected a temporary construction site to act as a facility for the storage and assembly of docking ring parts.

The Shantar-Maru has relocated to the planet to assist in providing area control measures. Additionally, a channel for the recording of deliveries of construction materials made by Guild transports can be found on neural net page 167290.

Once this project is complete, The Guild will be in a position to expand further into the alien organisms market, an effort expected to make a sizeable contribution to our coffers in the future.

The war for control of Sigma-21 rages on.

This latest clash between Kusari and Rheinland further clarifies The Guild's role in the ongoing strife and redefines our strategy.

It is clear that these two neighbouring houses have no regard for GMG sovereignty nor its rightful ownership of the Sigma systems, including Planet Saigon. The politics of House Rheinland have never truly accepted The Guild as an autonomous entity and while there has been relative peace for centuries, there has always been an undercurrent of hostility, proliferated in particular by Imperial elements such as Kruger Minerals, the Unioners and other individuals with extremist views. GMG enjoys a special relationship with House Kusari, however the reintegration of the Imperial Kusari Navy, the ever-present hand of Samura Industries and now the attractive prospect of a fertile breadbasket planet are apparently motivation enough to invade the Sigma systems.

Which House will be victorious is entirely unknown. It may even be the case that the leaders of each will come to their senses, to a degree, and decide to carve Sigma-21 between the two, presenting a united front against the Gas Miners Guild. What is known is that regardless of the outcome of the current struggle, there will be an attempted hostile occupation of rightful Guild space by Rheinland, Kusari, or both.

This cannot be permitted.

As a result, the involvement of our paramilitary should be intelligently minimal. House Rheinland and House Kusari are most welcome to trade blows throughout the Sigmas and their own respective space. They are invited to weaken, degrade and diminish their military strength and economical capacity. They will lower themselves to a level that will aid our own continuous pursuit of peace, prosperity and, most importantly, independence.

Targets of opportunity will still be sought. Rheinland targets will be struck. However, the heavy lifting will be left to the Kusari Naval Forces and Rheinland Military for them to destroy each other. It is most regrettable Kusari would throw away its friendship with us, and Rheinland desires a re-enactment of the 80-Years War, but circumstances are not always fortunate.

The construction of Planet Kurile's new docking ring and mooring fixtures is complete. The full acquisition of Planet Kurile will aid in The Guild's forays into the alien organisms market as well as the terraforming efforts of Planet Miura and Planet Saigon. In addition, without the supply of alien organisms from Kurile, the food business run by Samura Heavy Industries on Planet Junyo is expected to collapse imminently. This is a great victory.

The situation in Sigma-21 is not so favourable. Albeit now destroyed, there is evidence of House Kusari's push into the system in the form of a jumpgate construction site to the Honshu system. The Gas Miners Guild was neither informed nor consulted regarding this project and it further calls into question the relationship between our Houses going forward.

When leaving this site, a system-wide message was received from a ship identifying itself as belonging to Republican Shipping. Further investigation has revealed yet another base in orbit of Planet Saigon. This is likely evidence of another Rheinland push into the system and their persistent endeavour to conquer what is rightful Guild space.

This will not go unanswered.

End of report.

Trade Center Lubeck has been successfully assaulted and destroyed.

It has since been replaced with Handelsdepot Lubeck in a complete mockery of Guild ownership of Sigma-21. A Republican Shipping transport was found at the scene and ejected from the Sigma systems, returning to Rheinland space.

A Donau Rheinland Cruiser soon arrived on scene with a Republican fighter escort. After refusing to leave the Sigma systems these ships were then engaged, resulting in the destruction of the fighter. Another Republican ship, this time an Oder Rheinland Gunboat, arrived to assist the cruiser, however was also promptly disposed of. After sustaining damage the cruiser sought the refuge of Battleship Strausberg and GMG forces chose to disengage.

Rheinland has pushed further into the Sigmas and Kusari, with the Battleship Kolleda forcing out the Kusari Battleship Hyono which itself has retreated to Honshu, pursued by the Battleships Westfalen and Bayern which have followed it into the system.

Rheinland thus far appears to have the upper hand over Kusari, which upsets the equilibrium it is in The Guild's best interests to maintain. Handlesdepot Lubeck will be scuttled like its predecessor and any Rheinland corporate ships detected the in Sigma systems will be destroyed on sight to prevent any further construction efforts.

GMG must also liaise with the Kusari Naval Forces in order to lend its assistance in restoring balance to the war effort. Kusari must strike back and, with The Guild's assistance, perhaps the Rheinland Military's advance may be hindered.

End of report.

A distress call has been received from, allegedly, the Sigma-13 system. There is no information on the person who claims to have sent it and this could very well be a trap laid to lure Guild ships into an ambush. Despite The Guild's response, there has been no further contact, however the situation will be treated with great caution should the channel be reopened.

The Kusari Naval Forces have also reached out in the aim of greater cooperation. A joint strike against the Rheinland Military is to the favour of both GMG and House Kusari and this is in the process of being arranged. KNF will have to be managed appropriately to secure the most effective plan of action, and hopefully this is possible.

In Sigma-21, following the destruction of Handelsdepot Lubeck, another base was located. This unobtrusive construct was not immediately marked for destruction as efforts had to be prioritised elsewhere, however it should now be removed without further delay.

In the meantime, the struggle against Rheinland continues.

Frankfurt report

Honorable Guildmaster... *nods*

Let me say I'm very honored to send you my first report, humble as it is.

Combat alarm woke me up in my cockpit, being a part of the standby paramilitar wing at battleship Daishouri, Sigma-21 system. My ship was immediately switched to Sigma-13 fleet, in order to coordinate with other warships. I was already on a half way to Sigma-17, when I received jump-hole locations and auto-route vectors. It took me 8 minutes and 55 seconds to reach Frankfurt system, as I had to dock to Helgoland "for refueling" and there was some Corsair depot I was ordered to not pass close. Sorry about that Mr. Namura-San. I was raised at Miura never-ending winter and we have "to refuel" more often than other people.

I received orders on my arrival to Frankfurt, short and clear:
- *copying from battle recordings* -

GMG|Min-Seo.Park: Who do we shoot, mighty Guildmaster?
GMG|Keiji*Namura: Engage the Rheinland ships.
GMG|Keiji*Namura: Be sure not to die.

Enemy gunboat KF|RNC-Bhietigheim had me on their aim very next second and I regretted giving out my position immediately. Two of our best pilots were assigned to keep them busy, so I managed to focus my fire to our real target: battlecruiser RNC-Abenberg. They were deshielded by two loads of my mighty Neutraliser bombs, powered by GMG gas. Therefore we all focused to their hull and obviously my Scatters did a lot of damage, with plasma of pure GMG origin. And soon Abenberg was no more.

Battle-changing ship was our gunboat, that took care of enemy triggerhappy gunboat and was smartly keeping Abenberg's shields down from safe distance.

Ships of our fleet, managing to in and out of this skirmish:

- GMG|Captain.Ginyu
- GMG|Ravi.Clarke.
- GMG|Iwanai:Maru
- GMG|Keiji*Namura

Assisting Guild:

- Gas.Assistant

Last one speaking with very strange seducing accent, please note his words full of wisdom:
- *copying from battle recordings* -

Gas.Assistant: I must assist!
Gas.Assistant: Assisting!

That would be all of my observations. Hereby stands the attachment to my first report, honorable Guildmaster. *bows*

Cutting supply lines

Honorable Guildmaster... *nods*

My next task supposed to be a walk in the park. Our previous patrols reported high intensity of enemy war supplies convoys passing Munich and Frankfurt system. Rheinland economy was turning everything into war ships and that had to stop.

I received orders during video/audio briefing at Helgoland, short and clear:
- *copying from battle recordings* -

GMG|Namura.Maru: If you see any vessel with a Rheinland ID, you are expected to eliminate it.
GMG|Namura.Maru: Where any means: Daumann, Kruger, Republican, RFP, RM, RNC... all.
GMG|Namura.Maru: Use all your weapons and have no regrets.
GMG|Namura.Maru: Shoot them all, even transports.

Scouts reports about high traffic were true. I managed to cruise disrupt my first "customer" one minute after my arrival to Frankfurt. I sadly informed them they are on my kill list. Captain of Rugen|RepKorp was very simple and polite person, so I changed my mind. I decided it would be enough to drop all cargo (except civilian pilots he had captured) and leave with their lives. He started to beg me to let him keep his cargo, in the name of his five children. We girls are emotional about kids, so my determination to cut enemy supply chain dropped a lot. Luckily, silly trader started to run, so I had to eliminate that target.

His civilian captives luckily ended in their escape pods, but there's where their luck ends. Military ship named Nebelparder arrived, Donau clas, captain name Von Hindenburg. They immediately killed floating civilians and destroyed all remains of my previous encounter. I was reinforced by our gunboat GMG|Iwanai:Maru, we team-worked well and we managed to eliminate war-crime captain Von Hindenburg. In the meantime our transport managed to eliminate another Republican.

At that time our Frankfurt rampage was noticed by Rheinlanders High Command. Retaliation force was sent to eliminate us from Frankfurt. Long battle started.

They were all destroyed. There's a list of enemy ships eliminated:
- *copying from battle recordings* -

Death: Rugen|RepKorp was put out of action by GMG|Min-Seo.Park (Gun).
Death: Fohr|RepKorp was put out of action by GMG|Namura.Maru (Gun).
Death: Nebelparder was put out of action by GMG|Iwanai:Maru (Gun).
Death: BDM|U-201 was put out of action by GMG|Keiji*Namura (Gun).
Death: Delta-5 was put out of action by GMG|Keiji'Namura (Mine).
Death: Runa.Morgenstern was put out of action by GMG|Captain.Ginyu. (Gun).
Death: Stucken.Shneider was put out of action by GMG|Keiji'Namura (Mine).
Death: Nebelparder was put out of action by GMG|Min-Seo.Park (Gun).
Death: RNC|Rotluchs was put out of action by GMG|Iwanai:Maru (Gun).

Ships of our fleet, managing to in and out of this rather complex and long battle:
- *copying from battle recordings* -

- GMG|Captain.Ginyu
- GMG|Namura.Maru
- GMG|Iwanai:Maru
- GMG|Keiji'Namura
- GMG|Min-Seo.Park

Assisting Guild (that arrived after the battle, but good will also counts. In a spiritual way...):

- Gas.Assistant

Strange to this battle were Rheinlanders killing each others. What kind of enemy does THAT?
- *copying from battle recordings* -

Death: BDM|U-201 was put out of action by RNC|Rotluchs (Missile/Torpedo).

That would be all for today, honorable Guildmaster. Please, note my attachment*bows*

Combat report

I am unworthy of your attention, honorable Guildmaster... *nods sadly*

Let me say I'd be very honored to send you my freshest report, but it's not fresh at all. In order to annoy you less, I mixed two reports to one.

We humble Guild Security pilots were very busy by new technological breakdown and reports were not on our duty lists. Our crew at Star City removed my bomb launchers and placed them on better hardpoints. After several test flights and even patrols, we couldn't make them shoot bombs in parallel lines. We also couldn't make my EMP guns shoot at the same direction with bombs. Good news is that Antimatter Cannon is well calibrated. Pity I can't use it well like our enemy, for which we heard even managed to hit your bomber easily. *bows with unhidden respect and hidden smile*

For a start, I'd like to share battle recordings from brave Kusarian captains:
- *copying from battle recordings* -

KNF-Iejima's.Destroyer: Jayce: Target in sight. Volley fire! Use evasive maneuvers if shot at! I don't want a dent on my shiny new ship!
IKN-Kobaya: Beer bottle glass is a fine personal armour, honorable Jayce-San. Use it sometimes, when captain is not watching.
KNF-Iejima's.Destroyer: Jayce: The Ginyu Force prevails once more! If only the cap'n could be around and see it.

IKN-Kobaya: Suzuki: Enemy fleet on scanners! All units, rally to Akita, over.
GMG|Keiji*Namura: Akita? That means enemy lied of their whereabouts!
GMG|Keiji*Namura: I knew it!
GMG|Min-Seo.Park: I'm scared now, honorable Guildmaster.
GMG|Keiji*Namura: It's ok, pilot Park. I'll protect you.
GMG|Min-Seo.Park: H-hai! *scared more*

GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: This is elite response unit Namura-1
GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: Ready for combat.
GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: I'm the prettiest. The Elite Namura Response unit. I have a Ginyu and am not afraid to use it!
GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: He is skilled in the art of GMG Ninja. You won't even see him coming. Just gas.

GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: You've gone one system too far, Rheinlander.
[RM]Dornier-05: Ich don't think zo.
GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: I have a Ginyu to take you out.
GMG|Captain.Ginyu: Hi! *invisible smile*
GMG|Mei,Yamaguchi: Oh that's my Ginyu. I can't see him, but I know he's here.

Rest of recordings are orders issued. I must add that team working with Kusarian forces was more than pleasure.

That would be all of my humble observations. Hereby stands attachments to my unworthy report, honorable Guildmaster. *bows*

Subject: Illegal Installation, Sigma-59

A communication was recently received, sent from a Liberty venture, that has apparently inexplicably been wandering around asteroid fields in the Sigma-59 system. What these prying eyes may be seeking is unknown, but this is not a priority.

This message notified The Guild of a supposed abandoned station in the Aniva Nebula. No such installation has been authorised and therefore any such station would be erected in clear violation of Guild law. It is unknown whether this station was truly already present, or if this organisation has constructed the station first and is now seeking authorisation retrospectively.

This is again not particularly important, as since a patrol of the area has confirmed the existence of an illegal construct, it will therefore be scuttled.

Keiji Namura
Name: Keiji Namura
Subject: Sigma Systems

A recent visit to the Sigma-15 system disclosed an interesting encounter between a Unioner ship and group of assorted local outlaws. [1] [2] [3] [4]

It was entirely apparent the lone Unioner was the subject of great ire from all of the other participants, and it was subsequently destroyed.

While The Guild and Bundschuh already enjoy a cordial relationship, perhaps, due to our common foes, there are further avenues to be explored with the Red Hessian Army and Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army. Prior contact has been made before with Anna Heinrich of the RHA and more recently with a Coalition official, Natasha Romanov. The internal organisation of the Coalition is not clear and this contact may be without the involvement of the SCRA, however is possibly indicative of a wider attitude throughout the Coalition.

In Sigma-21, yet another installation has been logged, with a Rheinland gunboat lurking in the area. It has since been confirmed that the Federal Republic of Rheinland is closely involved in this project and as such the deconstruction effort, along with the expected confrontations, has begun. There have been a number of events of note.

The first is that the Rheinland forces have, in combat, requested the assistance of the Kusari Naval Forces. This requested was initially not met with the KNF ship content to simply plead for a cessation of combat.

There was, unfortunately an incident in which a KNF ship had actively engaged Guild forces while in the midst of a wider battle. This ship refused to disengage. It was subsequently neutralised.

In addition, there was a short visit from a Kishiro Bishamon. How exactly this ship has been obtained is unclear, however under no circumstances are any of these gunships licensed for use outside of the Gas Miners Guild.

Finally, there has been a hostile Kempaitai ship engaging Guild forces in Sigma-21. This was initially damaged in response but self-destructed rather than face defeat.

Overall, it is clear House Rheinland is making a renewed push to illegally seize control of the system and there are elements in the Kusari military and even our allies Kishiro that are acting in support of this effort in complete contravention of Guild law and our special relationships. It is unclear at this stage whether this represents the overall attitude of House Kusari or is a result of the actions of a misguided few.

However, The Guild must now fully prepare for the eventuality that House Rheinland and House Kusari now ally and conduct a joint invasion of the Sigma-21 system. Our allies shall be consulted.
