Is there a section in here where I can express something and be alright with this as I don't understand this unfair advantage that nomads don't have to role play. This is an unclear message for me as to the roleplaying on the server.

I'm out for a while to cool off..This was most unfair...

PaQuan out.....*click*
It's not unfair it's a great roleplay addition and an essential part of this mod.

K'Hara is providing a great entertaining role-play by being merciless fighters on the other side but also providing stunning rp experiences on the other.
It's covered by the server rules as the Nomads and Wild can attack anything even planets (Planet Toledo was destroyed by Nomads)

Brb. Logging nomad, bombarding New London.

On a serious note, I understand the feeling. I also just recently got blasted out of my trading route. It didn't feel like the stunning rp experience you describe but I was stunned for sure.
I understand that K'Hara is undergoing a change right now, so I hope it will balance itself out.

Give it a bit of time. They changed leaders and are restructuring.
Moved to the proper subforum. Keep on.
Skorak you are really playing here since 2008 and had no real RP with K'Hara or Wilde ever since?
It depends mainly on you how it is developing you know.

There's a lot more than just shooting.
I know. But this is also obviously referring to recent interactions.
I had a lot of nice nom RP. I am in a nomad faction even...

Yeah, sure.
So what's the difference between the /l1, decloak, RMB that used to take place before and the silent engagement? Because there is only one difference. Really hard to spot, believe me. Check this: with that /l1, filled with fancy Nomad talk, the K'Hara| players don't look like complete newbies that are the long-lost brothers of our favorite silent traders! : OOOOOOOOO

It's bad.
It's dumb.
It's horrible.

With that /l1 at least I had one fraction of a second more to think about where to move/finish my sentence so I could move away from those turrets. But no, now I have no time whatsoever. I have to pay close attention to the sounds so I can actually continue my roleplay with the people around. Basically, not die. But hey! Look at that. Those people I was RPing with just now got shanked by some trigger-happy Nomad. Incredible. And here's my roleplay lost.

It's bad.
It's dumb.
It's horrible.

+1

I've never enjoyed interacting with Nomads more than once. ONCE. Its always the same crap.
Personally. I've been enjoying it.

Yeah it's really lame how they interupt RP, but man. You get the real feeling of fear. Saw caps escorting traders, people in a panic. Felt good.

The inspired feeling of fear I believe is the desired result-- but there's got to at the very least be some groundrules. Freely interrupting RP and interaction sounds like a pretty dangerous thing to hand to a faction-- especially one that doesn't have to adhere to relations repercussions in any meaningful way.

Yes, nomads are scary again, and thats a good thing. I'd like to ask that some members of the Squid faction show a degree of respect and at the very least, wait until an interaction has concluded. Then you can cloaknuke the hell out of them all you want.
