There is no need to involve your employees on your Research Station in terms of recommendations; I ha...have outlined my needs below. Medical Equipment and Furnishing:

Furnishing for a hospice ward for four patients - beds, monitors, cabinets, et cetera... you know the drill having done it a thousands times across Sirius.
Furnishing for an Operating room - spotlights, single operating table... et cetera.
'Autodoc' operation assistant drone - that snazzy little droid that passes you all the surgical tools. Looks fancy, and I'll admit to a weak spot for gizmos.
Emergency Cryogenic Statis Pod - Mk34 , the Nivertech brand. For the tough spots in life.
Storage facilities for med-statis bands, medicines, elixirs and so forth.
Refrigerated cabinet with real-time feed - for keeping those organs happy as Larry whilst waiting for a new home.

Scientific Facilities:

A furnished, sleek looking laboratory. Smooth, white edges, that kind of thing.
Xeno-biotic analysis equipment - Microscopes, isolation chambers, those ...ur.... a what's the word... um... ah, and a centrifuge.
