Hello Koch,

As I had promised, I've asked my friend who had complied a report on the investigation into the specimen identified as Ish'tar, and this supposed "Lena". Additionally, this channel has also been established as a more direct line of communication between myself and you, in the event of further cooperation.

Investigating Ish'tar and 'Lena'

My investigation was initiated after meeting up with an individual named Noah Xonnel, who requested to meet me concerning information on the Nomads. So we met each other in Alberta, where she provided information concerning Ish'tar and a supposed individual named Lena - who was linked to the entity.

So - in conclusion with this first meeting - it appears that this Ish'tar has mentioned about a person named 'Lena' who is apparently ascended beyond what the Oracles are truly capable of - potentionally signifying that this person is infested or a hybrid. It was also mentioned that 'Lena' is the one who shall end the wars. Some kind of prophecy, lie, or fear tactic or not - it's still something to investigate, which is what I did.

I moved on to investigate links in the Omicrons, but passing by in Delta, I encountered an individual who was once part of the Blood Dragons. This pilot went by the name of Vibrant Songs. She told me about the possibility of a type of mix 'breed' - known as a Seraphim - a type of 'Human' who is... basically infested, a hybrid and a Human. They are naturally disguised and cannot be detected with ease. With their combined abilities - it makes them a very dangerous entity.

And here I thought those were a myth.

Moving on.

My trails lead me to Omicron Delta - where I met with another person namely Hans Von Goeben, I queried him but he didn't seem to know much on this topic.

In my next trailing we visited Rheinland - investigating a certain Captain, namely Fischer. Joshua Hunt used his links to Koch to set us up a meeting date with the Captain. A day later, we managed to get a hold of her, as she was coming out of vacation. We set up a meeting in New Berlin, this was the outcome.

In conclusion of that encounter, Fischer was obviously traumatized from the encounter, and other various pieces of information - however little - was still vital to this investigation. This 'Lena' appeared to her as a visual construct from the Nomad, where 'she' said where she wanted to 'have fun' with Fischer. She also noted that she would 'bring her friends' signifying that they would summon other Nomads to the scenario as a threat if Fischer ever made anyone aware that she was still present. Which would also explain her silence at the scenario when I saw her. It's also noted that Geoff Enfield hasn't been reporting to Koch, skipping out on duty. It's also reported that he experimented on Segliende Loraine - addicting her to Cardamine when she was supposed to receive treatment.

Anyway.

Our next journey was visiting the Order in Omicron Mu, querying them about this topic. Though, after a while there, we seemed to have attracted some Nomads and an infested ship. Humorously, Hunt accidentally cloak disrupted an infested Gunboat. The Order were aware of the scenario but don't know much either.

Another individual we met with one more individual - Thallia Thorn.

She did not get a direct communication with the Ish'tar subject but she was also questioned the night before by Kelly Hellion.

She noted that the subject has 'marked' Thallia for assimilation, protection may be required for her.

Finally, another person I got to investigate was James in Omicron Delta, who recently came out of an induced coma which was caused by Ish'tar. He was put in a series of experiments and tests set by the entity. Not too much was revealed but it shred some ideas on the purpose and desires of the entity.

With these links and investigations, it's pretty safe to assume that this Ish'tar entity is either:

Trying to learn and then to infiltrate Humanity.

Trying to gather knowledge on how the Human mind works and functions, how different cultures and people react.

Trying to impose fear tactics.

Or something amongst those lines. It's still open to speculation.

Furthermore, on the topic of Geoff. Unusual behavior due to his proximity with the Maltese, plus additional information I recovered before handling this and a few more messages, seems to state some rather... Unusual methods of experimenting with Cardamine. I believe I had already informed you about Segelinde, and I asked about Engler, though Agent Engler isn't relevant currently. I encountered her in the Omicrons. Regardless, I'm trailing off.

Geoff and I were friends. Not quite as long as you and him, but for a rather extended period of time, in which we experienced a lot and did a lot together as work partners. Our adventures were many, and all enjoyable, but my... Deceitful ways at the time, may have played a part in the end. Yes, the work I do is dangerous, but I aim to help instead of harm. I've been doing this for many years. I've made connections across Sirius, and while I might not be the most sociable individual to encounter, nor have I ever been, someone close to me told me once that they believe in change. Frankly, I do too. I believe I have changed, and while you might not take my word for it, and I can understand that, the information I'm sharing in regards to an old friend is difficult to comprehend.

Well, there is a small discrepancy in your investigation. Kommissaroberrat Enfield has informed me already about the sighting of your "Ish'tar" in New Berlin. Fischer wasn't aware of that, how could she even? Don't you think it would be silly to send out an entire flagship into the field just to collect information? It is obviously that they don't come for tea and Apfelstrudel. The message was clear: "Hey guys, check this out! We have shiny new toys that we can throw at you! Resistance futile!" My gut feeling tells me, that we will be witnesses of a power demonstration soon. The question in this case should be rather: Are we prepared to fight them effectively? We do not have enough data to answer this question.

Speaking of Enfield. Admittedly, there is a reason why he has visited the Maltesians regularly. And not because he is cardamine addicted. I'm also the first person within the agency that is being informed about nomad infestation within our ranks. I can assure you, an infection can be excluded. As long as he isn't aware of the location, where your weapon is being builded, you have nothing to worry about.

In case of Loraine... well, i'll make it clear. The most thing i hate, is a mole in the agency. There are things that should better be kept under lock and stay within the agency. Things that should never see the daylight, especially because the information itself can already cause a lot of harm. Wherever Loraine is, i suggest to find her before something bad will happen. We have what she needs.
