Dankien and Marren met in space near the o-74/o-theta jumphole, collected some goods from Freeport 9 and moved to the Munich system. In Sigma -17 they made a stop in Atka research station to buy some other medicines and then jumped to the Munich system. They sneaked to planet Nuremberg hidden within the asteroid fields around the planet and finally landed on it.

<due to lack of time the session was interrupted, it was completed by Moebus and Foxglove subsequently>

Dankien and Maren meets Helena in her office where Maren introduces Dankien to her friend and explains the purpose of his visit on planet Nuremberg. Dankien completes with some technical info regarding the samples and data needed for the sanitary report. Helena listens to them attentively, then proceeds to describe the sanitary situation in her district. She states the abnormal high occurrence of skin cancers and eye diseases among the population. She provides detailed numbers from her hospital about non-melanoma skin cancers, malignant melanomas, inflammatory reactions in the eyes and cataracts diagnostics. She also explains that despite these symptoms may be treated if detected at an early stage of development, a large part of the population cannot afford for the costs of the health treatment and have to suffer the diseases leading to premature death in case of cancers and blindness in case of cataract.

Dankien proposes to Helena to give to the hospital the human organs, medicines, food (synth paste) he brought with him in his ship and to get back to Freeport 9 with a few families of refugees (in the limits of his ship). Helena is more than willing to accept and, together with Maren, they land the transport (the Byzantium) close to the hospital to unload the goods.

Dankien also proposes to establish a relation between the Seraphim and Helena and the hospital in order to help them to face the sanitary situation. Considering the desperate situation, the Seraphim would bring essential supplies to the hospital and go back with some refugees to offer them a better life elsewhere. In parallel, the Seraphim would submit a sanitary report, that includes some key actions to take, addressed to the Rheinland government (and maybe to some independent medias as well). Once again Helena is pleased by the proposal, saying that she would inform the Seraphim of which commodities are needed in the future. Also it is concluded the Seraphim will work with the Bundschuh to identify the best places to relocate the Nuremberg refugees. While some, the most adventurous, may be brought the edge worlds, most of them are expected to stay in Rheinland so it should be determined where they are going to live. In the end, Helena thanks both her guests.

After that, Maren and Dankien go to some other sites to meet people and collect more ground, water and air samples. At the same time, Maren keeps on explaining the situation on planet Nuremberg and more globally in Rheinland. Dankien makes some new contacts with local actors of the society (leaders of non-profit organisation, elected officials in the municipality, etc…).
Finally, they go back to Dankien’s ship to prepare for leaving. After she made a few phone calls, she succeed to find 6 families that would be ready to leave Planet Nuremberg and move to omicron-74 to live on the bases of that system. With the remaining credits he has, Dankien pays for the land transports of the families to his ship. Within 3 hours they are all installed in the Byzantium, a Borderworlds Dromedary class vessel that is not conceived for passenger transport, but since the vessel holds are empty they manage to install the families in it.

Finally, Dankien refuels the ship and prepares to leave. He warmly thanks Maren for her cooperation and wish her good luck in the future, hoping to meet her soon.

A few hours after the sunset, the Byzantium finally leaves Planet Nuremberg. It follows the same path that it used to reach the planet. Hopefully, it makes no unpleasant encounter and safely reach Freeport XV. Dankien makes arrangements to settle the families. Two of them remain in Freeport XV, one is transferred to Freeport 9, and the two others are moved to Sparta station.
