Today we went on a business meeting in Rheinland. We had on board several Executives of various cooperating companies. The trip went smoothless until we arrived at New Berlin. We were rammed once on our way to Bonn. We then got told that the race was approved by the Police. I was told that it was more than just an inconvenience. I didn't believe it until we went to return to Liberty. In the Lane our ship had been rammed critically. I ruined one of my favorite suits and I had to visit the emergency room for most of the trip back until the ship docked at Baltimore for emergency repair. The RFP already received a transmission after I advised to allocate everyone available to give me the cost assumptions rather quickly. It should be dealt with soon.

I am exhausted, today was a long day. Mr. Nickson and I started from Dublin if I recall correctly, we shipped Gold to New Berlin and Diamonds back to Bretonia from Omega 11. Those DHC miners are quite fast I have to add, impressive. Anyway after few shipments of both Gold and Diamonds, Mr. Nickson and I began shipping Reinforced Alloys to Mr. Davies' base in Kepler - Poena Outpost, the one in that radioactive cloud. God I hate that one, every time I go there, I have to pay the repairs which is not a small amount of credits by the way.

We finished fairly soon, as the base wasn't requiring that many units of Alloys. Just as we unloaded our cargo holds on Poena, I received a message from our base - Park Avenue. They requested around ten thousand units of Reinforced Alloys as well. We brought them of course so the base construction plans are running without any problems.

About the ALG contract, everything is alright for now. There's not a lot of Toxic Waste on the station left and the fuel that we requested is there, not one hundred percent, but I guess that they will need one more shipment. I myself am happy with ALG's work as they are being swift and that is what matters, to me.

I guess this will be all, I will need to put some makeup... the Golden Lion is full of people, there's some kind of a party. So yeah, Interspace is doing good, everything is alright.

After quite some time, the Interspace Commerce finally got their hands on the blueprints of the Carrier. Mr. Yagami negotiated with the Zoners of the Corfu base, Mr. Finn McCool to be more precise. As you may already know, the Interspace Commerce had to pay for the those blueprints of course, the exact sum was 100.000.000 Sirian Credits which Mr. Yagami transferred to Mr. McCool's bank account.

We were given an assignment by Mr. Johnson to escort Mr. Dean's ship and collect the blueprints safely. We started our trip from New York system where alongside Private Castle I escorted Mr. Dean's Liner. When we were near our base in New Tokyo system, we encountered a friendly Freelancer named Jera, she accepted our offer to join us and help us escort Mr. Dean's Liner. Mr. Dean had passengers on his ship which were going to Hawaii in Sigma-19 system. Soon after the passengers unloaded on Hawaii we continued our trip to Omicron Theta system.

Unfortunately Mr. McCool had to leave Corfu base before we arrived and instead of him handing over the blueprints to us by himself, he hired his friend. His friend boarded Mr. Dean's Liner and soon after that we went straight to Hiroshima system and Renzu Shipyards.

Mr. Dean payed the Freelancer that was escorting us. She left after getting the credits and we continued our business. Mr. Castle and I followed Mr. Dean to his new office. The office was small, but it was luxurious with expensive decorations and numerous artifacts. He pot the blueprints in his safe, closed it and we went to our ships. I do not know why, but Mr. Dean was in a hurry.

On our way back to New York, in Shikoku system we encountered two pirate vessels, one of them was a Corsair Gunboat. We managed to neutralize the Gunboat, but the other one which was a Super Heavy Fighter got away. The Kepler and Colorado were pirate free so we didn't have to stop anywhere.

Mr. Dean said that we can expect the ship construction very soon.

Today I realised the importance of a good scanner array today more than usual. Having picked up quite the number of targets that we'd better seen earlier.
So I promptly moved the appointment at Renzu shipyards forward to today. So Renzu was instead of repairing some other person's Liner now refitting the Monopoly with new scanner arrays. I had requested escorts of our best pilots, outfitted with the new Manta class ships we purchased rather recently.

The trip was rather uneventful. And we arrived at Renzu without any troubles. The refitting was also faster than expected though I was using the time to inspect Renzu and have a talk with the Executives on board.

On the return we passed by Wall Street and took a few Arbiters back on our way to Newark.

Now I'll see how good this new scanner will work out.

Good day.

I am here to inform you that today New London got raided by someone who had extremely high knowledge of science. New London patrol informed us that there was a strange cloud in the sector E-7 not so far away from the trade lane between New London planet and Cambridge jump gate. I arrived as soon as I could. In the distance there was a huge cloud and inside... there were lots of hostile ships. They were flying a newest Civilian Carrier equipped with unknown weaponry that dealt huge damage to ships that were nearby. Those things were escorted by numerous bombers and super heavy fighters.

Later on we got reinforcements that consisted of more than six capital vessels mainly Bretonia Armed Forces and Colonials. Our forces were winning the battle against the unknown ships, but that was not the end sadly. As we destroyed the last Carrier the other one jumped into the system. The location of his jump was directly in the center of that blue-ish cloud.

Around it there was something... I can't really say what as I am not an expert, but it appeared to be some sort of energy field. It was one huge circle...

It took us some time to kill that thing, it's armor was incredibly strong, I've never seen a ship that can withstand a fire of that many capital vessels. Luckily we somehow managed to destroy the hostile ship and it's escorts. I myself managed to tractor these commodities:

I am not sure what these are, but I guess that Miss Lind will be eager find out. These items were safely delivered to Park Avenue Station. I believe that these items could be useful to her research, we'll see. Anyway, I will be leaving to Bretonia now.

Good day.

Exactly fifteen minutes ago there was an EMP explosion at the California Gate in New York system. Nearby patrols informed us that a terrorist planted the bomb and activated it after his demand wasn't accepted by the Liberty Government. The name of the terrorist responsible for this attack is - Tutashkhia, he is known for his numerous crimes around Sirius. I alongside two BHG pilots I arrived at the scene as soon as I could. On our way towards California gate in the distance we noticed a gigantic blue cloud similar to the one in New London yesterday.

Soon after we arrived more Liberty Navy ships and Deep Space Engineering arrived at the scene. At the moment DSE pilots are calculating the damage. We can only hope that the gate can be repaired in a short period of time. All we can do is wait for now.

Piracy Report

A few hours ago, yesterday around 22:53 to be precise, the IC|NewBern and IC|Muenster were pirated in Colorado. The pirate named Silver.Double.Barrel flew an Outcast Destroyer and according IFF and picked on ship jumping from the New York system. His demands were 6.5 millions per ship.

Not seeing a good enough opportunity to escape the leading captain, Brig Myers of the New Bern, decided to pay the pirate and ordered Karl Knispel of the Muenster to do the same.

Hey-ya everyone, Kaye Brutus reporting on my first official patrol mission. Today was a crazy day in Liberty, as you can probably guess by looking at me... huh.

I started my patrol in the California system where i was immediately greeted by 3 Lane Hacker bombers that were traveling on the Trade Lane. The 3 Hackers were:
LH~Elliot.Carver
LH~Kage.Tenshi
Bobby.Bones

They seemed to be in a hurry to go somewhere else, but i stopped them and engaged them in combat.

I was doing pretty well initially, they could barely hit me and i was raining firepower hard on LH~Elliot.Carver. But it seems their head wasn't focused on the battle but rather on finding a way to escape it - they managed to distract me well enough and they all took the trade lane out of there and hacked it apparently, so that i couldn't follow.

I lost their trail and was unable to destroy them, but i hope i was able to scare them away from Liberty.

Next, i headed to New York and near the Texas Jump Gate i encountered a Lane Hacker and an indepedent pirate fighting with each other, they were:
Capt.Maxim
LH~Vladimir.Scorpius

This was a beneficial situation. If they both went down it would be one less pirate and one less Hacker in Liberty. So my plan was to wait for their fight to end and i'd pick up the winner.

LH~Vladimir.Scorpius was winning the battle when Capt.Maxim tried to engage his cloaking device to escape, but i wouldn't let a pirate get away just so he could come back to Liberty later, so I used my Cloak Disrupter and the pirate was exposed. LH~Vladimir.Scorpius finished him off.

I've heard about LH~Vladimir.Scorpius before and of how dangerous of a pilot he is, however i had a perfect oportunity to take him down now, he had no Shield Batteries left on his ship and half his Nanobots were used, plus, he should be pretty exhausted by now.

I engaged him and incapacitated his ship with in a magnificent blast! - I've already sent my bounty claim up to the board.



This was a win. But the day wasn't over...



Nothing much happened for some hours after this. But late in the evening - while i was patroling the Texas system to make sure the path was clear for IC|Delaware to deliver his load of Cobalt Ore, I was suddenly surprised by LH~Vladimir.Scorpius showing up fully recovered from our earlier brawl.

He was sharp enough to understand i was clearing a path for one of our transports and he intended to intercept it. I would never let that happen. I engaged him in battle.

This time things went very differently...

I no longer had field advantage. He was fully prepared for battle with all his equipment in check and it was clear he wasn't exhausted like before - i was having a lot more trouble getting good hits on him.

I was able to accomplish my objetive though, with LH~Vladimir.Scorpius distracted in battle with me IC|Delaware snuck safely, however the price i paid wasn't cheap. LH~Vladimir.Scorpius stripped my ship completely naked - all my guns, my thruster and even my shield were completely malfunctioning. There was nothing i could do anymore.

This was his victory.

Hiya pals, Kaye Brutus reporting my activity.

Today's main key points were:
  1. Encounter with Lane Hackers
  2. Escort of an interspace colleague named HollowWhale


1. Encounter with the Lane Hackers

During my patrol around New York i met our colleague HollowWhale and he told me that there were some Lane Hackers in Pennsylvania pirating traders, so i immediatly went there.

Upon taking the first trade lane i found LH~Kage.Tenshi and LH~Elliot.Carver. They were quick to act. A split second after they saw me they started taking off. One of them took the Trade Lane and the other one started cruising off. I tried chasing one of them through the Trade Lanes, but he was too fast and was able to escape.

I believe they were communicating with a third Hacker in the system, which i assume was Bobby.Bones.

5 minutes in and all the trade lanes were clear. It appears the Hackers have instructions to avoid battle and target solely lone transports.

Pennsylvania was clear of Pirates!



2. Escort of an interspace colleague named HollowWhale

After scarying away the Hackers from Pennsylvania HollowWhale contacted me again and asked if i could escort him to Omicron Rho to deliver some Copper Ore. I accepted of course, i wouldn't let an Interspace Commerce asset venture so deep without protection.

Our first stop was the System of Kansas where HollowWhale was going to get his cargo of Copper Ore. We went to a base called Copper Storage Depot located in section B3/C3

After collecting the Ore we started our long trip to Omicron Rho.

The pilot of the HollowWhale is Joey Tempest. We made a wonderful trip to Omicron Rho, we easily avoided pirates and any danger of the sort and we engaged in a nice conversation.

After delvering the Copper Ore we headed back to Honshu for a quick pit-stop and then proceeded back to Pennsylvania where our trip ended.
