╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Good day Erika. I know you tend to be a rather impatient person, so I'll get right to the point on this matter. I've spent a great deal of time lately attempting to think my way through the issues recently caused by the sudden disappearance of the Frankfurt-New Berlin Jumphole. As i'm sure you're aware the lack of this safe passage has made transporting certain illicit materials through Rheinland space quite difficult. I believe I have struck upon a solution.

Saarbrucken is the name of a planet in the Koeln system, one which is already home to a couple thousand colonists. I believe that both the remoteness of this system and the lack of actual population on the planet make it suitable for what I have in mind. After initial surveying by one of our vessels specifically equipped with an enhanced scanning suite we have determined a number of locations on the planet that are remote but secure enough to successfully allow long term caches of goods to be stored.

What I propose then is simple. We will utilize dead drops on the planet itself in order to transfer ownership of your very own "it fell off the back of a truck" Daumann made weaponry in exchange for the lovely shade of Orange you have in abundance back on Malta. In operating this way we avoid a great many risks. Your own vessels can avoid the dangerous run into a Capitol system while at the same time my own men can't really be charged for associating with criminals if they've never met them, right? Assuming you find merit to the idea I'll forward a list of potential safe routes, assuming you don't already know your way around. Let me know what you think.

Deputy Marauder Ivankov - your timing is, as always, impeccable.

The sudden destabilization of some of the wormholes in Rheinland has nearly removed the possibility of using the house as a smuggling route; to the point that all shipments through the area now travel in escorted packs in known gaps in patrol times. This is obviously exceedingly risky, moreso than we're really wishing to put up with. Your suggestion however does present some interesting possibilities, though I'd wish to survey the situation and the systems myself before sending our transports there.

As for the subject of "alleviated" side-arms, it's interesting: I've handled pieces of their handy-work on multiple occasions. I've got to say: they're sturdy arms, I'd certainly be interested in acquiring some more- anything's got to be better than that Libertonian-made Detroit Munitions crap I keep getting shouldered from Liberty's best brightest and most cross-eyed Rogues.

On the whole: sure, we're curious enough. Forward me your list, and I'll see about arranging a visit to the area.
