Maltanese Young Pilots Academy.

Weed Borracho Mas Joven, son of the well known captain of the MNS-Weedalot, was born in 799 AS, he attended the Maltanese Young Pilots Academy from the age of 6 and within weeks he was showing great potential as a possible Outcast Fighter.

His main rival in the Academy was Nero DOrtona son of the known Alessandro D'Ortona. These two young boys were always pushing their ships to the best they could be, always trying to get to the top of the scoreboard.

The Academys lecturers saw the great potential these boys had and kept a close eye on them.

In the year 809 AS Weed Borracho and Nero D'Ortona were put down on Civil Training Roster. No-one thought this was going to be as "friendly" as it was meant to be.

The morning before the training the students had "Tactical Class" this is where they learn to use the surrounding environment to their advantage. The boys were focusing on their work desperately trying to get their tactics sorted out for the afternoon.

The students were let out for lunch and were found arguing near the Ammunitions lab and were separated.

Afternoon came, and the boys were in the hanger in their flight suits ready to go,
Corbano, one of their lecturers, gave them an extra warning about when to stop the simulation, "shields only", he said.

Weed and Nero climbed into the academy training Dagger that were awaiting them, outfitted with Dragoon Type 1s. They commenced pre-flight checks. Then commenced take off procedure.

When the boys got outside of Malta there tutor was waiting for them at the helm of an Outcast Destroyer. The boys flew 6K from Malta then spaced themselves to 2k to begin.
They heard on the Hailing frequencies

Corbano: This is Corbano, on my mark engage.

Nero: Roger sir.

Weed: Acknowledged

Corbano: Go!

The boys throttled towards each other and locked onto one another. When they were 600m apart, they fired.

Weed was looking brilliantly on form, but Nero was keeping pace just as well.

They swung round for a second pass at each other and fired, Nero's shield was knocked out and Weed's was at 3%, but Weed kept firing.

Nero swung round and finished off weed shield, but they did not disengage. Nero hammered Weed's ship until it became Completely disabled.

Than Nero swung round once again making it look like he was going for another shot when the large destroyer pulled in between them. got in between them.

Corbano : DISENGAGE!! I SAID SHIELDS ONLY! GET BACK TO MALTA NOW!

Nero : Fine!

Weed : I cant get back to Malta, I cant move!

In 810 AS the students at the academy were meant to be sitting an exam. Records show Nero D'Ortona and Weed Mas Joven did not attend.

This was not like them. They had never missed a day at the academy so immediately the Tutors were worried.

Corbano: To all personnel; please keep a look out for Nero D'Ortona and Weed Mas Joven.

Two days passed and still no sign of them. Corbano unlocked the hangers for a training session and got the students to do pre flight checks on all thirty-and-four Daggers.

Fain Targuso : Sir! Two Daggers are missing

Corbano : Hm?

Fain Targuso : 3F and 4F


---Later---

Corbano : To MNS-Weedalot have you seen two Daggers take off from Malta.

MNS-Weedalot : This is MSN-Weedalot, no. Is this concerning my son?

Corbano : We dont see any links yet, but we will keep you informed.

A week had passed, and the crime scene results were back. The hairs found on the floor of the hanger were Weed Mas Jovens and Nero D'Ortonas.
The Tutors thought it was safe to say the two young pilots had stolen these ships and deserted the Outcasts.

CCS- Cali Combat Squadron :


In 817 AS two Outcast Scimitars were spotted in Tau 23. The lead pilots were confirmed as Weed Mas Joven and Nero D'Ortona. They were seen being escorted three other Outcast ships.

Alessondro D'Ortona, while patrolling Omicron Alpha received a transmission;

Alessondro: Is this some Kind of sick joke?!

Nero: Yes, Dad, I have something to tell you.

Alessondro: Go ahead pilot

Nero: Seven years ago, I went missing along with Weed Mas Joven. We were thought to be deserters. This is wrong.
An old pilot took us without warning. H name is Angelo Corvi. He explained to us that we should not be scared, as we were privileged to be given this chance. He fed us. Clothed us. Trained us to be as good as we possible can be.
Corvi formed a Group called the Cali Combat Squadron and put us as commanding officers.
The CCS was created for the protection of Tau 23 against the Colonials. It was also a great place to launch attacks on potential enemies.
I am sending through a transmission all about the CCS.

Cali Combat Squadron

Zone of operation: Tau 23
The Cali Combat Squadron was formed by Angelo Corvi. He is a well known pilot who was shot down during a dogfight.

Born in the year 653 AS, on Malta, as a son of two fighter pilots, Angelo was born right into space combat. At the age of nine years his father took him on a patrol trip around Malta for the first time. It wasnt long until he got his first personal fighter.
First confirmed patrols were in 670 AS at the age of 17 near Cali Base in Tau-23. According to the logs on the base he was flying a Stiletto fighter at this time, but there are many rumors that he has been in a Dagger before too.
Five years later he promoted to a pilot of the Maltese defense squadron and got a Sabre, the best Outcast modification of the ship at that time and still one of the most feared ones in Sirius.
During his career he had to take part in many dogfights and managed to kill many enemies, Bounty Hunters as well as Corsairs.
When Omicron Eta was discovered, he was ordered to assist the defense against the ongoing corsair attacks over there and was given command on one of the defending squadrons there.
After several combats the corsairs noticed the strength of that one squadron, which was acting very tactical, even more than the other Outcast forces.
So one day during a full scale assault in Eta, that almost made it through to Omicron Alpha, a couple of Corsair elite pilots were tasked to eliminate the leading pilots of the most effective outcast forces. Angelo Corvi was one of their targets. After a long fight his ship was shot, as many other aces on both sides at this day.
His emergency-pod was damaged during the continuous battle and he became M.I.A., many people considering him to be dead.
But then in 714 AS his name appeared again, as a name in the list of candidates as the successor of the retired commander of Cali.
Most people wondered why he didnt go back into space fighting, but when he arrived at Cali it was obvious that he was no longer able to fly a fighter.
He had lost his right eye and the left arm. There is no confirmed data how he was rescued from Omicron Eta and where he has been all the time, but there are some rumors that he arrived on a ship from Omicron-85.
Angelo Corvi is barely capable flying a ship himself anymore he only leaves Cali frequently to return to Malta for some time.
The call sign of the ship hes flys in is not known, except to some high ranked personnel on Cali and Malta.


Intentions :

The Cali Combat Squadron is a fighter and bomber squadron mainly operating from Cali base in Tau-23. Our home system is full of asteroids, so we wont use capital ships except a very limited amount of gunboats.

Our Zone of Interest will be a little bit different from the ones used by other outcast factions operation from Omicron Alpha. Because of the different home system we will have different priorities. We will still guard the outcast nation, which means we will always do our job in defending Malta. But for example we wont have any intentions in sigma spaces, but we will operate in Liberty space and show up at the borders between Kusari and Bretonia.

Zone of Influence/Interest


Core Zone

As we are based on Cali in Tau-23, most of our forces will be stationed in Tau-23. As Outcasts we will defend any other Outcast base if needed, so we consider the following systems our core zone:
Omicron Alpha
Tau-23
Newcastle
Operation Zone

The Operation Zone covers all systems we will have to pass through to move from one base to another as well as any system our ships will mainly operate in.

Tau-space (except guard systems)
Kusari (jump hole to Kyushu is in Tau-23, not far away from our base. Main intentions there are to disturb military actions that could endanger our activities in Tau-space)
Liberty (due to our relationship with the Lane Hackers we will work together with them, maybe with the Rogues too.)

Un-recommended Zone

Friendly and Allied Guard systems (unless invited)
Sigma-Space (The forces stationed on Malta are closer, so there is no need for us to go there)
Bretonia (allowed to pass through to visit the Mollys and maybe to disturb any Kusari assaults on Bretonia if lead by a high-ranked officer)
Omega systems (While the forces on Malta are facing the Corsairs from and in Gamma, the forces in Cali can engage them from the other side, again only if a high ranked officer is leading the assault.)

Ranks:

The ranks are listed from the highest one down to the lowest on to show the military structure.

Commander:
The Commander is the one and only head of the squadron. He doesnt take part in combat anymore but is coordinating the squadrons actions from Cali base. Instructions given by the Commander are only forwarded to the Commodore(s) except in emergency. Further information about the Commander has been given before.

Commodore:
The Commodore is the highest ranked officer of the squadron who is still taking part in space combats. All squadron members have to obey his orders unless he is obviously drunk. Currently there are two Commodores in the squadron. Both of them are equal, If you are already following orders of one commodore and receive orders from the other one, inform him about your current mission. But if he decides that his one is more important, follow his orders immediately. Its up to them to explain it to the commander if they caused a mess.

Captain:
Only the most trusted pilots within the squadron are able to reach the rank of a captain. Usually there are only two of them within the squadron, the leader of the A-Wing and the leader of the B-Wing. If both leaders are already chosen it is possible that a specially deserved member of the squadron can reach this rank without leading a wing. Captains are allowed to lead operations in the whole outcast zone of influence and give orders to every member of the squadron except the Commodores. They are also allowed to fly the Scimitar, the Falcata and the Sabre, although they are still expected not to fly a very heavy fighter into asteroids.

Lieutenant:
The lowest officer rank within the squadron is allowed to operate and lead operations within the Core Zone and Operation Zone as long as no higher ranked officer is around. In addition to that a Lieutenant is allowed to acquire a Sabre very heavy fighter to perform long range reconnaissance missions, even into the Un-recommended Zone, but is not allowed to lead lower ranked squadron members there. Also he is expected not to risk his slow heavy fighter within the rocks of Tau-23. Contravention could lead to demotion.
(//The squadron is based on the light fighters, use the sabre in Tau-23 deliberately and you will loose it. Returning from a mission to help in a fight is an exception)

Sergeant :
The first rank allowed to command others, can use the Scimitar and the Falcata.
A sergeant is allowed to operate and lead small operations within the Core Zone and the Operation Zone on his own as long as no higher ranked officer is around.

Corporal :
Lowest rank for all fully respected members of the squadron.
Corporals are allowed to fly a Scimitar and a Falcata bomber, but are not allowed to give commands to other members or to operate outside our core zone and the system in between on their own without being under the command of a higher ranked squadron member.

Recruit :
All new pilots within the squadron will start ranked as recruits for a trail period until they proofed themselves trust worth and deserve to become promoted.
Allowed to fly a Scimitar light fighter.

Piracy/ Trader Policy


- Traders/Smugglers carrying cardamine: No pirating of course, depending on the situation you are allowed to escort them if they require it.
- Traders/Smugglers caught in Tau- or Omicron-space with a cargo that is known to be needed on Malta are not to be pirated if they are carrying it there. List of cargo will be enhanced if necessary:

- Traders/Smugglers with non-listed cargo may be pirated depending on the system you see them in. Not allowed are all systems out of our Zone of Interest. Within Bretonia you are only allowed to pirate if you are assisting in a Lane Hackers operation. Avoid fights against the BAF and the BPA.

Freeport Policy
Freeports have a cease-fire zone around them. No fighting for at least 5k, its recommended to keep a bigger distance if possible and not to fight in system only inhabited by Zoners at all. (Baffin, Bering, Omega-49, etc.)
Except self-defence of course.
Nomad Policy

If you consider them as holy spirits, peaceful neighbors, guardians of our graveyard or what ever: Dont fight or harm them. Never use their technology, never carry something of their stuff (includes Alien Organisms). If you didnt notice that you tractored something, they will make you notice if they meet you, just drop it then.
If you meet someone carrying or using their stuff within our Core Zone, ask them to hand it over to you or to the personal at the nearest station. There are regular transports between the stations, one of them will carry it to Malta where the responsible personal can take care of it.


Bretonia/Kusari Policy
Bretonia is currently fighting a war against Kusari in the Tau-systems. As both of those houses have interests in Tau-23, the best situation for us is if they keep challenging each other there. Unfortunately Kusari gained the upper hand in this war. During a cease-fire between those two houses they proved that theyre a real threat for our nation out there as they gathered their forces to engage us at Cali. So it is obviously that increasing the bretonian influence in the Tau-regions again will be useful for us to keep the Kusari forces where they belong to. According to that, the CCS will follow some rules concerning the vessels of those nations.

Bowex: Due to a neutrality agreement with the Outcasts no Bowex shipment will be stopped by the CCS. We will not question any agreement the Dons consider useful for our nation.


Kusari Vessels:

Any lawful Kusari vessels as well as Hogosha, and farmers alliance are considered Kill on sight. It is also recommended to stab their Naval forces in the back if possible to weaken their position in this war.

Bretonia Vessels:

As the Bretonia Armed Forces are fighting a common enemy we are following an unofficial cease-fire with them. We will help them if we see them fighting against the Kusari Naval Forces anywhere in the Tau-systems, but if they are violating our territory they will be asked to leave.
The BPA is acting only inside the borders of Bretonia and considers us outcasts as criminals and smugglers, but they are aware that ?we are fighting the same enemy as the BAF, so they will ask us to leave their territory. If you are asked, try to leave their scanners range and continue your mission unseen.
Official vessels of Bretonia corporations, carrying the correct callsign, transponder and ID, are not to be pirated as long as they do not enter Tau-23. We will ignore official BMM-vessels docking at their station, but no others and not further than that construction site. If they are violating our territory ask they to move out, if they dont cooperate they are to be turned into scrap metal.
We already have 4 official & god-knows how many unofficial. Is this really needed?

You have no ship or equipment list, and absolutely no diplomacy. Beyond that the proper terminology is Maltese over Maltanese.

And my final point, the MNS-Weedalot? This is honest seems like(and probably is) a half baked way for you to make pot jokes while PvPing.

We have all based in Alpha. But there are more outcast bases, for example that one in Tau-23 we have chosen. It's almost dead out there, we want to revive it.
Another thing is that almost every outcast is flying a sabre, I was surprised to see another scimitar earlier that day.
And when have you seen the last BLS?

So names do not have anything to do with what you are tring to proove .

this squadron was not build to make fun of anything its legit roll play faction and never had anything to do with pot heads

As an outcasts we use cardamine and not pot, better freshen up on the facts

I'm not judging you as anything more than what you're presenting, names on this server must be made in proper Role-play as well, so expect hassle if someone takes exception to your choice of designation.
