In one of the most rich areas on Planet New London, the story of Simon Sorrell began.
Simon was born in 789 A.S at Planet New London in a very rich family. He studied at a private school until he graduated from high school in New London at the age of 17. Simon's father was a naturalist, a man who admire nature and its secrets. He spent years studying animals, birds, and even micro-organisms. It was not strange that Simon was highly educated with excess knowledge about science, and that is because of the scientific environment which was created by his father. Since a young age, Simon's hobbies was obvious for everyone. He tends to explore and discover new secrets of science all the time. Simon's family moved to Cambridge at 806 A.S and his father was granted the title of Sir from the Queen for his remarkable scientific discoveries in the Zoology field. Simon wanted to be like his father but his passion drove him away from nature studies. He joined the Harvard University at Cambridge and graduated at 812 A.S then started his private studies and researches on Xenoarcheology and Thermo-Nuclear Astrophysics. It wasn't surprising to see Simon going forward in science discoveries since he is a typical mold of his father. Simon was granted the title of Sir by the Queen of Bretonia as an appreciation from the nation to his remarkable efforts and discoveries in the humanitarian field.
From the support of the people, and the financial help from the royal family, Simon owned his first lab at Planet Cambridge, Sorrell Research Lab. It was and still one of the science lighthouses throughout the entire Sirius sector. Later, Simon Sorrell and his crew managed to initiate the construction of [/size]Nebula Complex for Science & Technologies, which is a masterpiece. A unique complex of science and technology including a humanitarian clinic, grand lab, and more. The complex serves thousands of civilians every day, also it plays a major role in aiding the victorious armed forces of Bretonia regarding medical support and humanitarian aids. Simon is an ambitious person with massive plans. He always says that he need ten times his lifetime so he can achieve the science might that he wish for his nation.
Simon's social personal life was not as successful as his career and studies. He is an important man but his house is not as important as himself. Simon was married two years after he was graduated from university. His passion for science made him completely distracted from taking care of his house and family. His wife was uncomfortable with his excessive passion for science and it caused him lots of troubles during his marriage time which lasted 14 months only. Simon was unfortunately divorced because his wife could not continue any longer. She knows that he is a very successful person regarding his career and studies but she wanted a caring husband more than a science freak.
Simon got two sisters and one brother, His mother was captain of the HMS-Emerald destroyer class vessel and she was labeled MIA (missed inaction) during the defending of Leeds against the gallic royal navy invasion to Bretonia space. No one ever heard about her since her last meeting with her crew minutes before launching from Southampton shipyard toward Leeds. Years passed and still the memory of Simon's mother, refresh a great pain as it is a wound that can not be healed by time. Simon's sisters are Angelina Sorrell and Evelyn Sorrell. His older sister Angelina works at the Bretonia National Bank on Planet New London. She is a professional with numbers and a graduate of the faculty of business administration. Simon's youngest sister Evelyn is still in high school and hopefully will be graduated this year. Her plan is to join the faculty of space engineering and she is fond of her older brother and his work. Simon's only brother is a young detective working for the Bretonia Intelligence Service. There is not much information about the nature of his job and secrecy is always associated with his life.
The good days of investment didn't last for long, and the war started between Gallia forces and what's left from Bretonia armed forces. The war was fierce and burning everything around. The Nebula Complex was receiving daily damages from the gallic raids which affected it's life support systems and became in a very dangerous situation. The situation forces the entire crew to leave the complex and disappear from Bretonia until the atmosphere becomes suitable again for investments. Later Simon gathered all who are still alive from the crew and started the Horus Research Complex somewhere hidden in the Sirius sector.
