Ageira nepotism hurts us all

Dear Secretary of State for Internal Affairs of Liberty, Boris Livingstone,
Dear Secretary of State for Foreign Policy of Liberty, Sam Worthington,
Dear Prime Minister of Bretonia, Marcus Wright,
Dear Secretary of State for Trade and Industry of Bretonia, Sir Ambrister Jones,
Dear Staatssekretärin of the Bundeskabinett Sekretariat, Laura Caspers,

Due to the rupture of the Omega-7/Omega-3 Jumpgate the cost transporting goods and services between Bretonia and Rheinland have - at least - doubled, in some estimates even more than tripled. Causing massive damage to the security of supply to and the economy to the three colonies of Liberty, Bretonia and Rheinland.

Therefore, it is, of course, paramount that the gates be fixed as soon as possible. However, it is public knowledge, that the supply of the aforementioned Gate- & Lane Parts is a mere rivulet compared to the torrent of repair-commodities that has arrived at Aland Shipyard and by now has enough resources to complete the repairs from the Bretonian side.

One of the primary reasons of the lack of supplies is the monopoly on transporting the Gate- & Lane parts by Universal Shipping (USI), Deep Space Engineering (DSE) and Ageira themselves. Apparently transporting white boxes with ergonomic handles, requires special training. And the monopoly is, again apparently, a special precaution to ensure that nobody except Ageira-Personnel can open these constantly trackable and self-destroying white boxes.

We have, of course, already tried to contact Ageira in that matter, but it seems they are not willing to change their policy on that issue without further incentives.

Forgive me for being blunt, but especially in a time of crisis and war, it seems somewhat inexplicable to impede fast and efficient repairs by artificially restricting the supply of the needed goods to repair the jumpgate. With this policy Ageira is effectively hurting the people, the economy, the war effort and the relationship between the colonies.

It is up to the Governments of all three colonies to accept that the policy of Ageira to artificially prolong the crisis in trade and economic growth or push Ageira to abandon their policy of nepotism with DSE and USI.
