Research & Development Division
Description
Research & Development Division is a newly formed Division of Interspace Commerce that has an objective to acquire and research different types of organisms, alien parts and so on. The Division is also tasked to provide Interspace new equipment and upgrades of the newest class.
History
The R&D Division was formed 3rd of Ocotber 823. A. S. by IC's CEO - Alan Johnson. The time was passing and his company grew bigger, Alan wanted to improve Interspace's both defense and attack capabilities by creating a Research and Development Division which will hopefully be able to provide new weaponry, equipment, armors etc.
Being just an insurance company with lots of divisions, Interspace Commerce had to hire quite a few Scientists. Alan did that himself, he hired 35 Scientists from across the Sirius.
The Division operates inside of the Park Avenue Station in the hangar that is restricted to other personnel. All R&D programs are lead by 5 Head Scientists that are basically the bosses and those five are represented by a Director - Sofia Lind. Sofia was one of the hired Scientists and was chosen by IC officials and placed as a Director of R&D Division.
What R&D Division is manufacturing and researching is highly classified and Scientists are obligated to keep everything as a secret. Havgin 35+ Scientists is not enough that is why Director Lind hired around 127 SiT's ( Scientist in Training ) which will, if they pass the test, be hired by the Interspace Commerce.
In order to acquire rare materials of Nomad origin, Director Lind had to contact the right people for that, in this case - The Core or The AP Manufacturing rather. The APM brought the requested materials to Park Avenue Station so the R&D Division could start their research.
