The Royal BMM Miningship "Broken Hill" (Miner-RBS-BMM-AM46345E), was build and commissioned at by Kruger Minerals Odershipyard in 743AS, and served as

Diamondsminer "Glueklicher Michael" in the Van-Rohde-Belt in the Omega-11 System for nearly 50 years.
In 798AS the "Glueklicher Michael" was attacked by mutible Red Hessian Fighters and was sevearly damaged.
The Miner and most of her crew survied the Pirate attack, but her processingcenters and most of her miningequipment were destroyed.
Kruger only repaiered the Miningship to a minimum and used it as Storagedepot and Transport for several years, until it was replaced by the Train

"Wilhelm Bauer" in 803AS. The "Glueklicher Michael" was moved to Helgoland Station in Sigma-13 to be scraped and recycled.

In the Year 808 the BMM losses of Transports and Miningships in Tau-23 raised as high as never before, to satisfy the growing demand for resourcess from the Bretonian Crown, the Company had to buy foreign ships to fill up the Line, and still be able to build up the Bretonian Armed Forces to her current streght.
One of those ships bought from Rheinland and Liberty were the former "Glueklicher Michael", witch was partly refitted at Helgoland Station and towed to the Southhampton Shipyards, were its was named "Broken Hill" and outfitted with state of the art mining and refinery equipment.

Withal beeing finished in 811AS the "Broken Hill" was not commissioned to service until 816AS, due to personal shortage in hte Royal Company, trying to fight and win the Kusari-War on the worker front.

Currently the "Broken Hill" is administated by miningdirector "Charles Brecon", astrogational operations and Shipsystems are under the Command of Armed Forces Ensign "Walter Hardigen".

The ship is equiped with two mechanical Grap-and-Cut-Armes Type: Dauman Kumpel-7A and Lanze-D3, five Samura Industries CT-100 100-Megajoules Miningdrills, five Kruger Minerals BBB-300L 600-Megajoules Miningdrills and two Royal Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing Multipurouse-Refining-Lines.

Now in service, the "Broken Hill" was assigned to Douglas Station in Omega-3, were it began mining operations in the Coombe Asteroidfield.
Service Log "Broken Hill": Shiplog, director Charles Brecon:

"Baseing near Duoglas Station in Omega 3 we began Mining-and-Processing Hydrocarbons from the Coombe Fields to fabricate Ploymeres for Shiphull construction at Stokes Station in Leeds.
Our Royal Bretonian Finest had some troubles to manouver our Miner as deep into the field as i liked it to be, but ill get hell come acoustom to commanding a ship as bulky as the Broken Hill.
Reaching a rich deposit of Hydrocarbons our Miningcrews began their dayly duities, until after 20 days, to my jugment the worked at asteroids became uneconomically to be mined. So the Ensign took us back to Douglas Station for cargotransfere and refueling."

Service Log "Broken Hill": Operationreport, director Charles Brecon:

"20 days of mining at Coombefields, 549 Tons of Hydrocarbons refiened, 3 Tons were wasted in the Miningprocess, field dencety droped from 38% to 18% at claim A38687,63.
No hostile contacts, no acsidents."
