Yorushima: "Good morning, fellow listeners and citizens of the Sigmas. This is Kugo Yorushima, your news reporter for the Sigma Correspondence. We greet you from our beautiful office from Niigata Star City! Next to me, the un-exchangeable Yuma Kazuya." With a slight twist of his chair, he turns to the left, as the camera moves to the younger woman next to him

Kazuya: She laughs at his comment and proceeds to read from her paper script "Thank you, Kugo. This news channel is for everything related to the Gas Miners Guild as well as news from outside that connects to the GMG. Guildmistress Kara Yukari has permitted this project in order to not keep our dear citizens in the dark anymore. But not only this, we will also report events from the outside, which are independent but potentially useful for the Gas Miners Guild later on."

Yorushima: "Do you have a top story? Do you have something important to say to the Sigma population or the Gas Miners Guild? Do you wish to send your own little show over our channel? Contact the SC headquarters on Niigata Star City on the Neural Net and tell us about it. With the discussion of a payment, you might be set under contract and will be allowed to send your own show over those channels."

Kazuya: "And now, for the rest of the evening, enjoy some music!"

The image slowly turns darker and then disappears completely, as the music starts to play.

Yorushima: "According to the latest reports of the Kusari State Police, a man got lost in the Sigma-19 system, as he was last seen entering the gate from Honshu to Sigma-19. The Police hopes for the Gas Miners Guild and any civilians that may encounter this man to report the sightings to the police so a search is being eased up." The camera switches over to the younger woman

Kazuya: "The State Police released a basic description of the man, according to the latest registration papers, the man's name is Hal Erickson, a libertonian-elderly looking man who lives on New Tokyo. He is about one meter and eighty-four centimeters tall and wears a gray sweater, as well as some glasses. "

Yorushima: "More after the commercial."

Kazuya: "Is Outcast activity on the rise? Guildmistress Yukari reported us that a Maltese battleship has been seen in the Okinawa system, claiming to fight against the Maltese government, Kugo, what do you think of this incident?"

She turns to the side, as the camera switches over

Yorushima: "Well, if you ask me, you cannot trust these people, whatever they claim, especially considering that the ship has been seen in the Gas Miners Guild heart space. Their administration has to decide what to do about it but given the fact how dangerous these people are, I doubt something with violence will follow by their side."

The camera switches back to the woman

Kazuya: "In an interview with Guildmistress Yukari, she said the following."

A clip of Kara Yukari standing at a podium surrounded by many paparazzi's while the loud noise of the cameras is slightly disturbing the sound.

Yukari: "It appears that the vessel belongs to an exiled group called the 'Maltesian Exiles'. We don't know much about them apart from what the captain of this ship told me herself. She said that they fight the current government of Malta, which makes them an enemy of themselves. Although I still advise being careful around the Sigmas until the situation is clear, arigato."

The crowd starts to furiously ask questions while Kara walks off the podium. Yuma Kazuya appears back on the picture and starts talking again

Kazuya: "We will report about the result of this strange event."

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

Kazuya: "Food crisis on Ogashawa. After a transport full of supplies was shot down in the Sigma-19 system, Gas Miner has been suffering major problems with their up keeping. Emergency shippings from Sigma-13 and even Honshu had to occur so the people on Ogashawa can continue their work. "

The camera switches over to the man

Yorushima: "The Outcasts that seemed to attack the convoys originated from the nearby Omicron Beta system. A part of the crew managed to escape and even shoot down three wingmen but the transports were destroyed."

The camera switches back to the woman

Kazuya: "Guildmistress Yukari was not yet able to respond to this issue to appointments in Liberty, however, help from Synth Foods is supposed to stable out the situation again."

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

"Unioner Chaos"

Yorushima: "The recent days have shown an uncomfortable high amount of Unioner activity within the Sigma thirteen system. Unioner raid groups have continuously attacked the area around Helgoland Station, causing damage to the nearby lanes and the station itself. The reason for this is unknown but root cause seems to be a transmission between the Guildmistress and the Unioners that seemed to have a provoking effect. The pictures we see there remind us strongly of the Eighty-Years-War, once again, the Imperial Rheinlanders are attacking the Gas Miners Guild but once again, they will be defeated. "

The camera switches over to the woman

Kazuya: "Luckily, the Guild has taken this warning seriously and already dispatched ships to Helgoland to guard the station against incoming raids and possible boarding attempts, early-warning systems have been installed on the Sigma thirteen to Frankfurt jump gate and the activity around that area will be monitored in the next time. Mining activity in the system will continue to run, though, as the groups did not manage to go further than Helgoland so far. Guildmistress Yukari advises any civilian and Guild traffic to remain alarmed but to not let this influence our actions too much, the situation seems to be under control for now."

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

"Spark of a conflict?"

Kazuya: "Are the relations between Rheinland and the Gas Miners Guild crumbling? WIll there be a war and what are the dangers of it? All these questions currently roam around the minds of Guild members and local inhabitants, as the relations between Rheinland the Gas Miners Guild seem to be as dangerous as ever. Rheinland Military Admiral Driedrik Sterr has offered a discussion with Guildmistress Yukari about the possible alliance of the Guild with the dangerous Red Hessian Army in Rheinland. Guildmistress Yukari already openly stated an opinion about this topic."

Guildmistress Yukari can be seen on a press conference, surrounded by cameras and reporters who carefully listen to her statement.

Yukari: "There is no alliance between the Guild and the Red Hessians, the Unioners needed something to use against us to trick the Rheinland Military into attacking us."

Reporter: "Miss Yukari, there has been a leaked document from the Imperial Party of Rheinland which showed you threatening the Unioners with using the Red Hessians as a tool against them."

Yukari: "That is nothing but a threat, which worked only too well, we have not experienced any Unioner attacks ever since and think, that the thought of us allying with the Red Hessians has been a clear warning towards them. Of course, Admiral Sterr has taken this very serious, but I am going to meet him soon enough to discuss this topic which will prevent a war, not cause one, good day."

Yukari disconnects her microphone and stops talking, the picture switches back to the news studio.

Yorushima: "So much about that, a possible war would certainly not be good for the Guild but the question remains in the room, would Rheinland dare to attack the Guild again in the same system? This mistake has once led to the close downfall of the Bundesrepublik after all, it is unknown if Admiral Sterr is seriously thinking about making this step, judging by Guildmistress Yukari's appearance, she would be ready to defend the claimed Sigmas."

Kazuya: "More news about this topic can be found. SWW Sigma Correspondence dot Sigma, a good day to everyone."

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

"The end of the cliff?"

Yorushima: "Good day. After Guildmistress Yukari and Admiral Sterr have discussed a rather unpleasant issue in Sigma fifteen recently, the Rheinland Military has started several investigations to ensure that Sigma thirteen, especially the area around Helgoland, where the Unioners damaged the facility. Guildmistress Yukari did not like this at all and fired shots at the Admiral himself, luckily, his ship didn't get damaged and all but this action already was harshly criticized by the Admiralty. Here a few words from the Guildmistress."

Guildmistress Yukari is yet at another podium at another press conference, the sound of the cameras are loud and the flashing lights blinding After a short pause, the exhausted Guildmistress starts to speak.

Yukari: "The Rheinland Military has, after a very unpleasant encounter, received permission to patrol Sigma thirteen as they see fit, all this is a result of our plan not to engage in an active war with Rheinland, which wouldn't do anyone any good. Admiral Sterr is angry, so am I, but I have the feeling, that Rheinland is trying to push us to attack first, this won't and cannot be allowed to happen. We will not be the ones starting any conflicts here and will try to see the Rheinland Military as a responsive unit that tries to help, although their attempt has been rather rough. "

Reporter: "Miss Yukari, what will you do if Rheinland attacks the Guild or tries to gain Sigma thirteen for themselves?"

Yukari: "Well, in this case, we couldn't just stand aside and watch them doing so, of course, help is by now appreciated but any sort of conquest that Rheinland will attempt will be confronted just as hard. While I still would not engage in a war, I stand my word to fight it and not bend down for them... or any intruder."

Reporter: "What if Kusari aids the Rheinlanders instead of us, they have good relations, wouldn't this be fatal for the Gas Miners Guild, if Rheinland and Kusari attacked it at once?"

Yukari: "I have just contacted the Admiralty of Kusari about this issue, given, that I do not know what happens then, I would say that our superiority of the territorial knowledge would prove as an advantage probably makes no sense, given the combined force that both houses could bring. It would surely mean that Sigma thirteen will be conquered by either of them, but Kusari wouldn't be smart to attack us since they rely on our fuel. Kusari is not standing hostile enough against us to attack for the sake of Samura getting the gas fields and they would be in trouble with Rheinland later on. After all, the system would have to be shared and Kruger is also interested in our fields. I will keep trying to solve the situation diplomatically with both sides. Thank you."

The camera in the studio activates again.

Kazuya: "Concerning words, it is up to both the Guild and Rheinland to decide wether we want to repeat the Eighty Years War or not. I am Yuma Kazuma of the Sigma Correspondence"

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

"Anomaly appearance"

Kazuya: "A strange anomaly has appeared between the two suns in the Sigma thirteen system a few days ago. The anomaly leads to an uncharted system that seems to have made an earlier appearance in other regions of Sirius, the system contains a giant asteroid field which contains a rare material named Narcathite that is apparently highly interesting for the Zoners on Corinth, who pay a lot of money for a load of this special ore. According to the latest GMG reports and those of our allies operating in the area, the jumphole is being visited by both welcome and unwelcome visitors, as several sights of Corsair and Outcast capital ships have been reported. Nomads and pirates are also very appealed by the mysterious system and harm the passing traders who try to get the ore out of independent mining ships. A mining drone named 'Picket' is stationed in the system most of the time and fills the local transports for a respectable sum of money. Freelancers and independent miners alike seem to be able to extract this ore, while the GMG and Kishiro mining vessels have already fruitlessly attempted to make a mining operation out of this.

Although, after the plans of Guildmistress Yukari, the system was supposed to be locked down by the GMG and the associates, the swarm of unlawfuls and aliens have made such plans impossible, the paramilitary recommends to not enter the system unless safety has been guaranteed prior to the entry, or as long as security can be provided by any company. The Guild will not pay for any damages that visitors from all over Sirius may endure while visiting Sigma-13 in a time like this. Guildmistress Yukari said that the best solution to provide optional security, in this case, is to let these people be as dangerous as they may, since, despite the heavy unlawful presence in the system, the anomaly seems to be the only reason for them to be there that much. Counting on this, it would mean that the situation stabilizes as soon as the anomaly disappeared again, just as it did before."

The camera switches over to the man

Yorushima: "I must say, I find this highly inconvenient, first the trouble with Rheinland and now this. Interestingly enough, the Rheinland Military has not yet shown any presence in this conflict, which is strange regarding that they insisted on protecting the system for all three involved parties, the Guild, Kusari and Rheinland. I advise everyone to stay away from this anomaly, as lucrative as it sounds, the risk doesn't seem to be worth it. The Guild officials will still try to impose fines on any trespasser... given, that they can do so, considering the size of some vessels. That is all about this topic."

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

"Massive battle at Helgoland"

Kazuya: "Yes, it happened again, another Unioner strike force made its way through Sigma thirteen today, according to the latest report of the Gas Miners Guild's operatives, the raid force consisted of a gunboat, a cruiser, a fighter and even a battleship. Thanks to a Core and Bounty Hunter gunship, as well as the Rheinland Federal Police, and the Rheinland Military, as well as the Gas Miners Guild, the threat could be terminated after a long lasting battle. "

The camera switches over.

Yorushima: "You wouldn't really expect such a large force to be defeated easily, but once again, Helgoland could be saved, the damages are less impacting this time and Kishiro's deliveries, that were supposed to strengthen the inner structure of the base will go into the repairs, it seems. Due to the strength of the attack, one would have assumed that the damages would be more severe but we got rather positive results in the end. Due to the Guildmistresses absent, she couldn't voice her opinion about this yet but all current Guild representatives still advise to be careful around Sigma thirteen and only cross it, if there is no other way, below you can see a picture of the moment the battleship of the Unioners exploded."

THE SIGMA CORRESPONDENCE

"A period of peace - Just a fake image?"

Yorushima: "Good morning. After it has been confirmed by the Gas Miners Guilds specialists, it is finally safe to announce, that the anomaly, that has led to the mysterious uncharted system as well as a lot of problems has finally disappeared. It was not surprising that as soon as it disappeared, it became rather peaceful and quiet in Sigma thirteen. The only potential problem now are the negotiations between the Rheinland Military, the Gas Miners Guild, and the Kusari Naval Forces. The discussions about a stronger paramilitary are still going on, though. The thought of a Rheinland Military invasion does not only raise political concerns but we also need to think how to defend ourselves. The salvaged parts of the many Donau-class cruisers that once were spread across the system but have been collected, could provide as useful on this. If this idea becomes a reality and those cruisers repaired, is an open question yet, though. Those ships could provide ideal support against the war machine of the Rheinland Military if such a conflict comes in place. It is questionable, if such a repairing operation is a good sign for negotiations, though, it could escalate the situation. Another problem is the potential alliance of Unioner forces and the Rheinland Military, according to the detailed reports about our last news report, the Unioners were quite surprised to see the Federal Police's capital ship aiding the Gas Miners Guild forces instead of the Unioners. This leads us to the assumption, that the Unioners will assist the Rheinlanders in a case of conflict, which would not be beneficial at all. To our luck, the admiralty of the Rheinland Military is quiet about such topics right now, at the same time they also ignore the attempt for a new official peace treaty between the guild, Kusari and Rheinland, which might be another bad sign. In this case, however, it would mean that Kusari is likely to ignore Rheinland's declaration, due to the fact that they did answer to the transmission. I am Kugo Yorushima, Sigma Correspondence."

With a slight nod to the camera, the video turns off.
