To: Cell captains. You know who you are.

Packet orders, packet orders.

As of 23:45 Hamburg Standard Time the following vessels are pulled from Frankfurt mobilisation arm and detailed to special directorate assignment. Congratulations – you and your crews have been placed to the top of the munitions refactoring and operational maintenance roster for exemplar combat performance in defence of the Rhein, your families, your homeland, your cells. Congratulations. Keep this up and you might even have a working laundry to wash the sweat stains out of all the medals the brass arm has been sticking to your chest.

This means you are now off operational rotation until further notice and will answer directly to the directorate.

The target is a XKR-EV-TWO "Tempest" Mark-I Coalition battle carrier, the CCP Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, rendered notorious as the CCP Lenin. Settle down, captains. Garen knows the nut’s as tough as they come - she’s a third decade PNW line mauler and regarded as an Anton-class strategic risk piece against operational deployments of either Bayern hull in Union possession. In addition, risk assessment detail remains determinate regarding ordinance, airwing, and internals, which is why you’re here.

At ease. We’re not demanding you blow her asunder. You’re not magicians, nor have you been denounced. We’re going to try…. Subtlety.

The Union is detailing the following resources to your disposal. The directorate has developed a wireless rootkit program that can be administered within the E-head package of cruise disruptor missiles. It's exceptionally sophisticated, tailored according to our experience of the conventions of Hessian and Coalition system design. It's also a one-shot; the uninvited will adapt after the first use; no live fire testing and trust the techs.

Your duty is to disrupt the shields of the Lenin before firing the E-head into the hull of the battleship. Superficial surveys of the vessel indicate she’s as laden with reactive armour as you’d expect, so operations command advises whittling the juggernaut’s armour down to 50% before key insertion.

We expect the Lenin’s firewalls to realise what’s happening after several seconds of intensive datamining of their internal security net, at which point you’re ordered to withdraw before it calls its hessian friends.

Remember, the warship rarely skulks out of the omegas and infrequently without escort. You may have to use a lure. Be creative – there’s an entire list of out-of-favour artefact smugglers and political abborhants that nobody will miss if they’re sacrificed to the Coalition’s guns. They’d be doing us a service.
We don’t expect you to grapple Odin alone – use of unconventional ordinance is approved for the duration of the assignment. Try not to squander Garen’s entire warhead reserve, will you?

We’ll be in touch. Garen go with. Suck its brains out.
