Keeper Leviathan:
I apologize again for the misdeclaration. For some reason the name still retains the battlegroup title for me. I have connections to the 2IC of Order High Command, mainly out of diplomacy than anything else. I've been discussing the situation in the region with her for some time. I assure you that her concerns are our concerns. However, my concerns have shifted to the Core as well as the Order. Their new Head Guildkeeper, if that is his title.. I've been probably spent more time in a escape pod than in the bridge of my own Destroyer. Anywho, I fear the Core if anything is going to cause more problems with the path they're on than solutions, and given how Delta has gone to hell in a god damn handbasket, That's a bad thing.
On the Order front, I can probably see where they're coming from, as from accounts I've heard from those who survived the attack on Toledo when speaking to them on the Freeport. Core vessels prioritized Order vessels over the Nomad threat that was asssaulting the rear of the Core's assault fleet. Why this was is unknown, but it led the Nomad elements to bombard Toledo from orbit. Golanski is probably using this tactic, albeit illogical due to the Nomads being a mutual enemy of both combatants, as revenge for what they did at Toledo. I'm just going out on a limb here and trying to see what he's probably doing. I do implore you to meet me, her and two Ex-core personnel, who are now part of the "Harpy Squadron" to discuss this at a later date, as I have had a heated discussion with her regarding her ideologies and her standpoints prior to our original meeting in the Borderworlds. When I ask you to join us in discussion, Keeper, I mean a civil, non-aggressive discussion where we assess our mutual situations and find a way to handle it on our own seperate fronts, for the benefit of the safety of both the Omicrons and Mankind at large.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this old saying, but we are encountering a mexican standoff situation here. Order and Corsairs, as well as Auxesia and the Core going at each other leaves the nomads a prime opportunity to attack and decimate both sides. This is what I've been getting at for the past month, Keeper. This goddamn war if anything is becoming a unprecedented liability, one that will screw us over if we don't curbstop the nomads. HARD. The past engagements betwixt Core and Order have left the Nomads out of check. Both sides kept the Nomads from gaining ground. No longer. Whatever on god's green earth that showed up the other day, the size of a damn Dreadnought and packing its' own mother****ing MICRONEBULA, was close enough to decimate the Freeport 10 times over by the time we destroyed it, and thank god above that it didn't. I'm not putting Auxesia on full blast in all this, you guys have your hands full, and I'm thankful that we got the support that we did,
but if Toledo was anything to go by, We are next.
The people of this installation and their safety and survival while on this station are my responsibility. I take such responsibility VERY seriously. The people of this station have lost enough of their friends and family, and enough have had to leave their home out of fear for their lives. The latter may not live up to the motto of this station and the brave men and women of Zoner Society who stand up to the Nomad threat make up for that in spades, and I will gladly join them in battle and in death if it means defending this station and Humanity at large. Omicron Delta is the focus of the Nomad threat right now. It's time we drive them back. Their sorry asses can have their neck of the woods and the sane of us will stay far the hell away from it, unless we need to put them down again. I don't see us eradicating the Nomads, which if anything, I agree with the Core on containing the threat to the best of Mankind's ability, and is probably one of the few things I can support them on.
Due to the mess we've had on our hands, I feel that it is best that I come to see you. Pale Bride seems to be capable of handling Base Administration in my stead for a day, as evidenced by my absence when I went to meet with some people in Coronado for a few hours. If possible, send an envoy within 48 hours or at your earliest convenience to escort me and Honya, who will be acting as my assistant, to your installation.
I look forward to seeing you, Leviathan.
Clear skies,
Nodoka Hanamura
