Greetings Chancellor I have a bit of a request for you that I hope you can help me out with. If you are not familiar, there is a system on the northern edge of Liberty space, a quiet system known as Cassini. Relatively recently we re-pressurized an abandoned DSE depot known as Foster Station. The anomaly beneath it, which we assume is the reason for DSE having built it in the first place, has begun acting oddly, well odder then usual. I am hoping you could send a small team of scientists out here to verify that this thing isn't going to do anything catastrophic. I know Cassini is far away, and Foster is in the middle of quite literally no where. To make it worth your while I will pay for a OS&C Shuttle to pick up any scientists and bring them out there. I also will leave my personal Liner the .:j:.Camp.David, a purchased OS&C Luxury Liner, for the duration of your stay at the station so the team can have any equipment they may need.
Normally I wouldn't rush to any conclusions, but with the recent loss of Trafalgar I would rather not take any chances, too much Junker blood has been shed for me to enjoy.

We are more than willing to dispatch a team to inquire about this anomaly for you, and we thank you for any help you would be willing to provide.
We should tell you however, that it will take time for an accurate survey to be done, and whether this anomaly is man made or not. That said, we will find out more about it when we actually arrive. Do you desire a list of those visiting this station?

I am Professor James Richardson, of the University's Physics and Astronomy school. My team and I have arrived at your station and have begun our examinations of this anomaly. Our observations indicate that there is intense radiation at one thousand meters (1000) and closer, small ships obviously cannot survive such a close encounter within the 1000 meter mark. Whether or not it is man made, I cannot tell you just yet, nor can we determine if it is growing, but it is unstable. Therefore, we know that is a new astronomical anomaly and one that should be contentiously examined if possible.
I am aware that this is not the Junker's expertise, which is why I am formally requesting permission from both you and the Chancellor permission to stay and to bring in more experts to watch this fascinating phenomena. I am also aware that Forster base is hardly the right facility to conduct such research on, which is why I am also requesting you halt any deconstruction activities and you contact the university to reach an agreement on how best to proceed.

Deconstruction operations have been halted until further notice.
Moving on, now you see why I was concerned. You tell me what I need on this station to make researching the anomaly, and hopefully identifying if its a threat. I assume its going to need some investment, which I would hope the Chancellor would be so kind as to hopefully support to one extent or another. A Joint operation of sorts, mull it over, I'll be around.

I am happy to send more people out to the Cassini system, so long as a few conditions are met. I am not willing to risk the lives of University staff and especially not the lives of our students. Given the location of Forster base, I assume you have some contact with the inhabitants of the Cassini system. If you can guarantee that no University member, be they staff or student, will be harmed while they work on this anomaly, then I will be happy to consult the Proctors on matters relating to Forster. I cannot make any promises, but perhaps the station could be upgraded with the Universities assistance.
Would the Congress consider this a fair trade?

I do hate to burden you with unnecessary work, but I must ask how the negotiations with the Liberty underworld is progressing. I ask simply because the anomaly which you asked us to investigate is slowly becoming more unstable. It is unclear if this is the result of outside forces or if it is in the nature of such things to grow and eventually stabilize, however I might be correct in assuming you do not wish to find out.
The faster we can conduct actual measurements with actual equipment, the better it will be for all. Again, I don't wish to rush you, but it does appear that time is indeed pressing.

Alright, everything is done on my part, when your captains pass through Cassini they have strict rules regarding travel space.
That paths detailed here are the only places you will be safe. Past those paths I cannot guarantee anything. I suggest going through Colorado, it tends to be safer then Kepler. If you need the locations of the other jumpholes I will happily show you. I suppose now the real fun begins.

So, Not sure if you noticed, but things got weird.
Cassini had some sort of mass destabilization and got cut off from the rest of Sirius and I assumed that was it from Foster. So I figured I would shut down our connection when suddenly out of the damn blue Ames Research Station starts getting some stupid crazy radiation reading out of Kepler from the Matsuo Cloud. They sent investigators out and guess what they find? Foster there with the anomaly underneath it still...
Look, I don't know what this is but its just getting weird at this point.
I hope you have answers cause I am lost.
