The facility was built in the middle of July according to Gregorian calendar's dating. It was constructed by relatively small group of Daumann Heavy Construction's auxiliary department employees who came with initiative to build a facility capable of storing and exporting Copper Ore both within and outside of Rheinland's borders. They decided to name it Schwermetall Handel and asked for obligatory documents to begin with construction of the facility. That time wasn't an easy one and definitely filled with lots of difficult jobs which had to be done.
Everything began like six months earlier, when Heinrich was speaking with Gerhard in one of the Ring's bars. It was late evening and they had done their jobs for that day, so they could finally find some relax with a bottle of cold Rheinbier with accompany of music. The initiative came out rather accidentally, but has attracted attention of a few more people almost immediately. Over time, their small group grew bigger with more and more people joining their ranks.
The base expanded with time, it's popularity struck new heights. The increasing rush on station called for upgrades, after years of hard work the base gained a Core Level 3 upgrade providing more storage and Rheinbier with lot of space for people.
The old administration was unable to maintain and run Schwermetall. The increased size and larger maintenance cost was making it difficult for them to keep the base running. They decided to sell the base to someone who can keep up with the market and base's needs.
The new emerging businessman of Rheinland Gustel Hartmann brought the base. To luck of crew not many things changed in fact the salaries of crew increased. Gustel Hartmann took Schwermetall to a whole new level. Gustel welcomed every Rheinlander with open arms. After lost of Kruger's mining base to the Hessian, Schwermetall became main trading hub in Omega-7 for every day growing Rheinland economy.
