To: The Reichsarbeitergesellschaft Syndicliga and the surviving Landwirtrechtbewegung elements.
From: Acting-Arbeitsdirektor Solomon Weiss.

I'll be frank. I'm not Garen. I will talk to my men, face, to face. You're not here to lick my boots and I am not the Watchful Eye nor a gunned-up Omega-born warlord. I'm a Joe. I will not send you to run chances as I wouldn't myself.

I am the Arbeitsdirektor, 'Ahm here to direct your advocacy. Not to make myself rich, not to work for Volvograd, not to kiss the shoes of the Nationalists. We are here, to hear the opinions, of every mind that can hold a megaphone.

I'm here to set precedents, captains. Back in the 'Bewegung, we had a system of mutual advice - of talkin' truth to power. I'm the power, I ask for the truth. Not lackies stickin' to a pre-expected system for personal advancement, nor a man hanging another to shore up the terror of his own legend. That's not me. If that's you, I don't want you in my Union.

Which brings us to a to-do. I've been put into power with the backing of the Coalition - the rumours are real enough. Where they end is what I intend to do with that power.

I am not a Coalition puppet, and I am not here to stage an Bewegung coup. That is final - anybody who tells it different will get themselves a re-education in the brig.

Which brings us to a crossroads, my brother and sister arbeiters alike. The Hessian leadership crises is temporary. At best. Inside the Coalition there'll be those working to puppet us once more.

We fight for the Volksrevolution to remain free and beholden to the people of our homeland, not a collective of edge-world warlords. Foreigners will not write the history of socialism into a bloodbath and the class-revolution will not mean the murder of innocents and the destruction of private property.

You've had my ears - now, for your mouths. Strategy, captains. You're the boots on the ground, the heads in the fight.

We need refreshed contingency plans. It's in our interest to keep the Coalition close enough to keep the Federals in distress and spot 'em if they're gearing up for a regime change, whilst using what we've got left of the Hessian truce to figure out our angle of attack for the fresh front.

Let them make the betrayal. Let the warlords take the hit.

Till then, we'll prepare. As we've always done.
