The Shogun has noticed your regular contribution to our cause and would like to officially recognise your good work, Kohaku has requested your presence on Kyoto at your earliest convenience so that he can thank you in person. Meeting the Shogun in person is a great honour but if you wish not to offend him or our sacred traditions you will need to adhere to the following standards:
1. When addressing the Shogun you should refer to him as Tennō, or Tennō Hideyoshi.
2. You may not touch the Shogun, unless you wearing gloves and he has first extended his hand to you.
3. It is customary to bring a gift to the Shogun when attending his presence, a single bottle of sake is a standard and accepted token. Items such as drugs and exotic dancers would cause offence.
4. When being lead around Kyoto by the Shogun it is respectful to walk 2 paces behind him but no further.
5. The topic of Cardamine should be avoided unless absolutely necessary when talking with the shogun.
