Aufzeichnungsdokument der Grosskriegsschiffe Nr. 1 KKS Westfalen

Name: Kaiserliches Kriegsschiff Westfalen (formerly the RNC Westfalen)
Owner: Unioners
Class: Bayern
Crew: CLASSIFIED
Armament: CLASSIFIED

The original Westfalen, last survivor of all Bayern-class Dreadnoughts that were used in the Eighty Year war against the GMG, later relocated as a Mobile Outpost in Hamburg to guard the Vierlande prison and lastly spent her last minutes on an ALG Scrapyard, but then out of all sudden...

"130 Years, the highest yet known service record for any military ship in whole Sirius and it shall not be over yet for her." With this words the former Arbeitsdirektor began its speech in the annual meeting infront of all Cell Leaders of the Unioners and trusted higher ranked personals of them. "Our grandfathers died for her in the Eighty Year war, our parents may refitted her and grew up with her and her famous tales and unfortuneatly we had to fight her multiple times in order to achieve our goals in Hamburg and to free our Workers from the hell of Vierlande."

"But this time we will save her and will do it the same as our ancestors. This ship represents perfectly our traditions and history we Rheinlanders lived through and what we fought for, to let her get scrapped is like to scrap the graves of our grandparents that died for our nation in order to rescue it from the pesky tentacles of the GMG Kraken..."
"With that words said, I want every Unioner to work hard to save our beloved Battleship, even if she had to fight us, but just because of the stinking hands of this corrupt pseudo republic regime, the ALG those swines are corporating with the Military to scrap it somewhere in a yet for us unknown system. But we heard from our fellow Smuggling Partners the Junkers some interessting news, about a oddly looking designed "trade route" in the ALG Faction neural net data sheets, found on a pirated higher staff ALG Vessel in Sigma-13... in exchange of some goods and salvage from our proud workers in Bering we achieved to get them, the Scrapyard lies behind a jumphole that leads to a relatively remote system in the near of Rheinland space, it seems they want to hide the scrapping location at all costs from us but they underrated our contacts."

"With 25 ships splitted into 5 groups and 3 Ragnars that will carry the troops to secure our lovely Westfalen... With this forces we will start an assault to free her from the claws from that history burning libertarian scum... we will be there before them and secure the area, onwards my fellow Workers, for the Reichsarbeitergesellschaft!"

"We have one week as preparation time as the data sheet says in this time our strike force needs to adapt ambush tactics and exploration time, the location seems to be somewhere in the Walker Nebula, already known as a hole filled with dozens of hazards and radioactivity so be advised that you could never return and meet your family again... With that taleralala being sad, lets kick some libertarian bums!"

One Week Later the Preparations are finally done, the task force sends 3 of their squads to jump quickly into the system to find the location, while two others starts and raid to guide the local militaries into the wrong direction to trick them, also the Hamurg Cell launched an pseudo raid on Vierlande to let the Military think they planned something different...

On the other side of the jumphole they saw a odd looking outcropping of the Walker Nebula that seems to spin counter-clock wise in an extremely fast speed, also lightnings can be seen there... The rest of the System looked pretty empty except a brown gas giant with dark blue rings and one moon that looks like it could support life but no actual scans were made...

Then the squadron noticed that there was an extremely strong anomaly inside the nebula... "What is this strange place, did they just chart this star system a while ago and why it has to be this place?" One Squadron Unit asked confused.

"Nobody knows but that does not matter right know... wait, shite, beside this there are blinking giant dots on my scanner, looking like giant vessels moving into the nebula! Could it be... shite... I think they are already ahead from us we need to hurry up!"

They rushed inside the nebula, it seems there is only one way in an out guided by navigational buoys that light the ways, the rest of the nebula seems to be a hellhole full of radiocativity and turbulent storms, as more as the Squad pursues the Westfalen and the ALG Golem Vessels that pulls her into the center of the nebula as darker it gets, an scary atmosphere in a soon pitch black exclusion zone appears.

"This is the Center... Over there I see the Mox fueled Exhaution flames of the Golems, Unioners carry on engage it and immobilize the Vessels!" - The Main Squad Leader shouts into the channel.

"Here speaks Samuel Rabenscheidt of the Unioners, cut your engines and hand over our beloved Westfalen" He shouts to the ALG Vessels.

"What?! Unioners how... the lost contact of our... it seems it is your fault then what a huzzle... try to catch us you fools move on guys those terrorists want to ruin our business here!" One of the Golem Utility Crafts that looks to be surprised and ordered his co-workers to flee into the center.

"You donĀ“t want to stay for to long here Unioners... even though you are the first other visitors except the Military to see this gorgeous looking anomaly... apropos Military here they come. Catch this Buggers!"

Out of the sudden Military Interceptors appeared to help the Golems to escape, it seems the Unioners need to fight their way through... then it was lastly one squad that managed with the 3 Ragnars to catch up with the Westfalen, they tackled down and crippled the engines of it. also they managed to see some strange burning ring around some round shape looking object that is even darker then the darkest spots inside the already pitch black looking exclusion zone inside the nebula. It was a black hole, surrounded by red hazard buoys that shall mark the area of no return of the black hole to prevent pilots from flying into the black hole...
The ALG Squadron Leader mentioned that this was one of the systems the old famous Explorer Von Rohe explored in his deep space exploration and that this rare anomaly was one of the highlights of his expedition, even though they kept the System top secret from the public.

In the near of the black hole in a safe space lies a small depot with several utility ships and movers that should have exploit the Westfalen, but the Unioners even with high losses just the 3 Ragnars and 7 Escort fighters managed to survive. The Unioners finally managed to capture the ship, unfortuneatly they forgot something, to not destroy the Golems... now they were forced by themselfes to improvise, they used some Mox Depots to fill the fuel tanks of the Westfalen and hijacked some Uruz Transports that shall help pulling the Westfalen out of the nebula, because the system was rather unknown and isolated from the rest the resistance was non-existent except that two military squadron that were former Westfalen Squadrons, but they got put our of action by the Unioner vessels, even if they managed to intercept most of the Unioner Vessels... Onboard there were no military forces at all, just some deactivated Roboters that got reactivated by the Unioners to operate the important sections of the Dreadnought.

In the end it was a success for the Unioners even with high losses, they got their first Battleship for their own cause, they managed to rescue the ship where even their ancestors served... nowadays the Westfalen is the oldest capital vessel and first Battleship of the KKS, working as a mobile outpost for the Unioners same like here younger step-sister ship the Germania. She got refitted with better armament and newer armor parts and a new energy core, Junkers helped with some pieces of exploited Bayern-class wrecks to bring the Westfalen back to its old glance. Together with the LNS Mississippi the Westfalen shows that age can be also just a number and that with some work even the oldest ships can be still as much as effective as other newer ones, it proves that the Westfalen is still as effective as the day it was built...

On the other hand the ALG and Military swears to keep this tragedic accident for them as top secret, no one ever shall know the true fate of the old Westfalen, but time will tell and some people already recall her and know that she is still in service, but know for the Unioners cause... The surviving Unioners got honored and are working nowadays as the elite fighter guard of the KKS Westfalen.
