Day One
Reggie Page here. We've recently acquired specifications for some heavier artillery. Ideally, we'll have it up and running soon, but as it stands, we're going to have to take the whole Brick off the line for the time being. Fortunately, we were able to link up with Magic Brick in Colebrook orbit, so we have facilities, such as they are, for now.

The prefabricated buildings we had in the hold were deployed to the Southern polar regions five minutes after arrival, where our colonists have set up pending CRIMSON SHORES.

Exitus Wing is even more paranoid than usual; they're challenging anyone who even breathes in our general direction here.

Anyway, the gun, from the looks of the designs we've acquired, seems to be of the "defang snubcraft" persuasion, which Maximum Brick could definitely use. If we run into difficulties or have some breakthroughs in the production, they will be noted here.

Construction is expected to take a couple months. And now, back to discussing with Graham the street plans of Port Joe Smith.
Day four
Reggie Page here again. We've come across a reproducible human error problem. Apparently someone was convinced that Guns and Butter was a go months ahead of schedule and decided to make a quick buck looting our supplies and moving them planetside.

It is at times like this that I wonder just how we've survived this long. Thankfully, the Event Horizon was on hand to lend assistance and Graham was considerate enough to help clean up this mess.

The SCRAMBLE-Flak is currently being field-tested, but is nowhere near battle-ready yet.

In unrelated news, Exitus Wing has found what appears to be the wreckage of an Interdictor somewhere in the Coos Field. That's a bigger issue than a mere weapons overhaul, so our supplies are going to be stretched a little thinner than I'd particularly like. Hopefully, our "secure facility" can wrap up the Nodtviet and we can completely do away with those pesky supply lines once and for all.

You'll love this, but the SCRAMBLE-Flak actually turned Black Asp's shields to paste in three shots. Black Asp is kitted out with some fancy shielding systems that most other folks don't have, so they'll lose their shields in one or two shots, tops. Something to think about, huh?

Well, that's it for now. Back to making sure the help hasn't gone stir-crazy without my guidance.
Day six
Senior Staff Liaison Holt has called in. The entire Exitus Wing has a new boss; apparently Willow's stepping down to oversee the production of some more... esoteric items somewhere.

The Interdictor Exitus found is barely scratched internally, but the ruddy, gaping holes have resulted in most of its fuel and atmosphere having dried up, comms and sensors being shot, and controls being outright unresponsive. The perfectly preserved corpses of the guys who didn't make it out, when they tumbled down on the guys exploring, certainly caused a bit of a stir. We've put them in a box and will give them a proper burial when we have the time.

The SCRAMBLE-Flak is meeting expectations. It should be ready for field deployment shortly.
