Report Details:
Encountered Overwatch transport Thebes on my way from Roppongi to Atka.

It was empty, which seemed peculiar. Scans are attached.

The interesting part is, the captain contacted me. He said the Overwatch may have an interest in business with us. Other than that, this was a simple maintenance pickup.

Attachment 1: Communications Log, below:
Code:
[20.10.2018 02:36:59] [HI]Brandon.Walker:  ... Huh.
[20.10.2018 02:37:22] Order|AT-Thebes: Mark: "Hello there Cryer escort pilot."
[20.10.2018 02:37:39] [HI]Brandon.Walker: Evenin'. Interesting traffic in the Sigmas.
[Note: Subsequent messages are over a private frequency.]
[20.10.2018 02:38:42] Order|AT-Thebes: Apologize, I was in a little bit of a rush. Which brand of Cryer do you belong to?>
[20.10.2018 02:38:52] Order|AT-Thebes: I don't believe we've met before.
[20.10.2018 02:39:16] [HI]Brandon.Walker: I'm with Horizon Insights, we operate out of Atka and Johnson.
[20.10.2018 02:39:37] Order|AT-Thebes: Horizon Insights, please go a little further into detail?
[20.10.2018 02:40:07] [HI]Brandon.Walker: We're a Cryer subsidiary focused on research outside of House space. Things like those alien organisms out by Kurile.
[20.10.2018 02:41:12] Order|AT-Thebes: Hmm, sounds like you could be some assistance to us.
[20.10.2018 02:42:02] [HI]Brandon.Walker: I'm just security, you'd have to direct that to management.
[20.10.2018 02:42:13] Order|AT-Thebes: And who would that be sent to?
[20.10.2018 02:43:03] [HI]Brandon.Walker: Just address it to Horizon, mark it as a Business Inquiry, we'll make sure the right person gets it.
[20.10.2018 02:43:20] Order|AT-Thebes: Perfect, so potentially you will hear from us soon.

Attachment 2: Scan data, AT Thebes:
Armament | Armor reinforcement | Empty Hold
Weapon scan incomplete, but based on our own Bisons, it's expected to be uniform Acherons and Iron Hammers.

Report Details:
I finished a delivery to Planet Nuremburg, and then picked up a load of aluminum bound for Freeport 11. Upon arrival, I encountered the Auxesia vessel ACV Eidolon Wraith and the Order vessel CV Neteru, having a lengthy conversation. Naturally, I listened in. Besides, it was taking the Freeport dockmaster some time to clear up the bay for my cargo.

To summarize:

Unfortunately I missed the beginning, but there seems to have been mention of unethical experimentation. Keep an ear out, maybe we can learn more.

There's a rogue Order vessel, the Amenhotep, that occasionally crops up. Not much information, but it seems friendly to the Auxesians and still shoots nomads. The Legacy of Orillion was unaware of this vessel.

The Legacy of Orillion continues to push its stance of prioritizing the destruction of the nomads. Callahan's daughter was killed by a nomad strike, so I doubt he's inclined toward flexibility.

Auxesia seems interested in nonlethal pacification of nomads. I don't think we have electrodes big enough for that.

Overwatch supposedly targets Auxesia over even nomads, but my only source so far is Auxesia. Can't entirely trust the info yet.

Overwatch also reportedly made use of torture and attempted loyalty implants. We might want to contact Auxesia, see if they can share any information.

Despite their issues with the Order, the Auxesia captain seemed willing to give the Legacy of Orillion a chance at peace. We'll see how it pans out.

Full log's attached.

Location: Johnson Supply Depot
Tags: escort, Synth Foods, engine, maintenance
Priority: Low

Report Details:

While testing some experimental engine modifications on my Voyager, I encountered an Oasis-class liner, SFV Lap of Luxury, operated by Synth Foods. I saw an opportunity to find out what Synth was doing out here and offered escort, which was a round trip to and from Omega-49. Synth appears to be helping the Zoners get out of Omega-49 since Bretonia took over.

They seem to have reasonably peaceful relations with the local Corsairs, enough to not get their temporary outpost shot down at least. So that's good.

My engine modifications resulted in approximately 3% improved fuel efficiency in the Omicrons, but more importantly a roughly 15% reduction in maintenance times. The Wlaker Nebula needs some additional filters and calibration, but I expect similar results when that's done. Total modification cost so far is rather negligible, easily paid for in meintenance savings after only a few flights.

Report Details:

I think Core's doing business with the Outcasts.

They say they'll still attempt to provide security in the region, but this is going to be an issue.

Also, Core's got a Bretonian carrier? When'd that happen?

In more routine news, ran some medical supplies out to New London, rad sickness treatment to Five, and medicinal elixirs to Eleven.

Priority: Medium

Report Details:

Cryer's got one of their own ships out here, a Titanic called.... Destruction? Odd choice. Maybe a freelancer on contract? They were flying empty through Kappa, which is... weird. Might wanna call the main office and see what's up with that.

I went to Freeport 9 to pick up our gun order for installation. While running the initial integration setup outside, I met an Apostatas gunboat, CRV Justicia. We had a discussion, in which unusual Zoner activity and a resurgent Commune were mentioned. The captain didn't elaborate on the Zoner movements, unfortunately. Logs attached, but it's mostly the typical pleasantries. Fly carefully, try not to die, we'll sell you drugs, there's political unrest, yadda yadda.

Initial integration of Scythe-type tachyon cannons and Hades heavy pulse cannons appears to be going well. Further testing is needed, but so far power fluctuations appear to be within acceptable ranges, and ensuring stability only results in a slight loss of efficiency. Of course, that's just on the popular Chalice-series freighter-scale power generators. I'll need some time to run more tests before I can support wider adoption. That Marauder we picked up for Walker came with Sickles, so I'd like to use that for testing as well.
