Herr Goeben, I have some news for you.

The Hellfire Legion has graciously offered to divert some resources in our direction for the purposes of salvaging Heket, Serqet and Apotheosis. They ask that they be allowed to have the remains of one of the cruisers, but with their aid, we will not only have a proper team to perform the salvage, but also an escort for while we do so.

This is quite a potential boon to us, and I would like your opinion on this before we proceed. If you are amenable to this, then I believe that this will hugely accelerate the plans to go ahead with constructing our new research vessel.

Fräulein Cenncroithi,

thank you for considering my opinion on that matter. While this opportunity will indeed boost the project enormously, I can not get to entirely like the thought of cooperating with a group of such...ill reputation and history. But that is beside the point. Beggars can't be choosers in this case. I trust your assessment about the Legion, though make sure they get what they want, and a small bonus after a successful mission. I'd rather not have us wake up with empty pockets and a dagger in each back.
So, yeah. I approve of your plan.

I believe that the Hellfire Legion will be reliable in this case. I do not wholly trust them, myself, but I am reasonably certain that they will uphold their word. Lord Commander Locklear and I have spoken on the topic and I believe he has our best interests in mind. Still, do exercise caution--as always, I appreciate your grounded view of things.

I will open a channel between us and the Hellfire Legion team dispatched to assist us, and there I will lay out the plan. Expect it soon.
