Greetings.

On this message I would like to inform you about the state of Waterloo Station, pursuant with the instructions that were given by Her Majesty's government to the civilian populace of New London.

Interspace Commerce is gradually moving all the important businesses and VIPs out of Waterloo Station.

The station will continue to operate with a skeleton crew and for a basic number of functions. However we have not approved its usage as a military installation in order to avoid making it a military target for the Gallic Royal Navy war machine. It is not a fortress and it has not been designed to be so, which makes it indefensible and of little military value for both sides.

Nevertheless we have approved funds to reinforce its hull integrity and make it strong enough to withstand indirect fire which are expected to occur in the planet's orbit.

If the BAF has any recommendations to make in regards to the station's defenses, please let us know immediately.

The Bretonian Armed Forces have no further recommendations to the defence of your station other than the ones you have already begun. It is advised that care is taken by your pilots on their way to Waterloo station. We respect your wish to avoid turning the station into a military one, however we do strongly recommend that all sensitive material that pertains to Interspace commerce and other corporations is moved to a different facility until New London is secure.

We will endeavor to protect the station and surrounding installations in the meantime.
