Full Version: Molly Council - The Shillelagh Fleet
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.

This Scylla class destroyer served as a staging area for small Molly raiders operating in New London. Its size allowed it to only service strikecraft.
Due to the engoing war between the Kingdom of Bretonia and Gallia, and the massives fleets that now clashes in the vicinity of New London and all over the system, the Mollys now find very little interrest in launching small scale attacks in the area.
They therefore decided to withdraw The Shillelagh from the New London battlefield for a better use.
The Destroyer was schedulled to use the Jump Holes to Cambridge, using the asteroid fields as cover, and from there to Poole and finally Foyle shipyard, in Derry, where it shall regroup with other vessels of its class and their escorts, to form a fleet on its own.
With the incoming Pressure from the Gauls in Dublin, the Bretonians in O-49, the fleet will now serve to defend Molly assets in either Dublin, Derry or Omega 49; to retaliate or even to launch larger attacks.

Dear members of the Molly Council,

It’s time to move The Shillelagh Fleet from New London thru Cambridge jump hole, from here to Poole and finally Dublin.

Reports from Lisburn confirm that Norfolk fleet went to Omega-3 I suggest we make a small detour before heading to Poole jump hole and attack Cardiff mining station, it’s lightly defended, far from assistance, and contains an abundant cache of mining equipment that we could use to enhance our mining capabilities and efficacy.

Using the cover of the New London asteroid field in Cambridge, the Shillelagh can take up position behind Planet Sarum from where we can launch a surprise attack.
From the Shillelagh we launch the fighter and bomber wings, I would suggest that each wing be composed of 1 Barghest and 2 Greyhound, Alpha wing and Beta wing will have assigned as primary target the lanes heading to Cardiff, this will prevent any reinforcements to reach Cardiff, as soon as they cut the lanes they will head straight to Cardiff.

After the lanes are cut and the fight started at Cardiff several transports with molly assault marines equipped with stun weapons and personal magnetic armor, will launch from the Shillelagh, their objective will be boarding the station and make it secure for our engineering teams to dismantle every mining equipment they can and load it on the transports.
Any resistance found is to be captured alive if possible.

The Shillelagh shall wait until the attack is finished, and as soon as the wings return to him, move towards Poole jump hole where a squadron from Foyle Shipyard will be waiting to escort the fleet to Dublin, the Shillelagh should be stationed between BMM gold field and Molly Asteroid Field, this position outside of the Dublin asteroids fields enables the Shillelagh sensors to their full potential, permitting us to have real time information about all the system.

Thank you for listening
