The following CIS document will give an overview on the most notable ships in the history of the Crayter Republic

Carrier Warhammer: The Warhammer is the first study prototype of a Zephyr-class carrier. Initially it served for durability and gunnery testing. Deprived of propulsion systems, the heavily-armored hulk guarded the main entrances into the Tau-44 system. Other functions included a military academy and ceremonial deck for special occasions. The Warhammer was destroyed in 820 AS by elements of the the Gallic Navy that invaded Tau-44. With skeleton crew on board, this old ship managed to take down a 'Valor' class battleship before the core became critical.

Carrier Valkyrie: The Valkyrie is the second Zephyr-class prototype. As opposed to the Warhammer, the Valkyrie received propulsion systems along with full operational capabilities. It initially served for dynamics and performance trials, and was later refitted to be able to commence independent combat operations within the Tau systems. The ship was part of the expedition into the Omicron region. Contact to the Valkyrie and its Battlegroup had been lost, when the ship became a part of the Vanguard fleet. It was returned into the Republics fleet, where most parts of the ship were decomissioned for the construction of one of the first Deimos class Dreadnoughts, receiving the name of its predecessor to remember the Valkyries service to the Republic.

Carrier Rubicon: After Valkyries successful trial period and commissioning, it has been decided, that more Zephyrs should be built. Being the only warship design capable of countering the Outcast dreadnoughts, it was obvious, that the more such vessels existed, the safer the area would be. After completion, the Rubicon commenced operations as Tau-44s main defense. Rubicon is has been lost in the battles against the Gallic fleet.

Carrier Nemesis: Construction commenced soon after Rubicon's completion. Ever since her commission, the carriers been performing offensive operations mainly behind enemy lines. During the GRN invasion, Nemesis' propulsion systems were damaged and started to collapse. The crew managed to get to relative safety before the engines stopped. The ship is now used for mostly stationary operation within the Tau systems, where colonial pilots refer to it with the codename Hades.

Carriers Europa, Deimos and Poseidon: All three carriers have been constructed using Nemesis' blueprints. Their assignments included both, offensive and defensive operations. After the Gallic invasion, they were scrapped for pieces for the new battleship and cruiser models.

Carrier Triton: Built at the same time with Nemesis, this carrier received heavier armament and was used mainly for defensive operations in Tau-44. After the GRN invasion, the carrier is fulfilling defensive duty in the vecinity of Sabah Shipyard.

Carrier Atlantis: The Zephyr class Atlantis was commissioned in 822 A.S, right after a large part of the Crayterian Fleet refused to subordinate to the then government and continue to fight in the Tau area. First being commissioned to assist the Malachite in the protection of Yuma and Sabah Shipyard, the group was stationed in Coronado. With the expansion of the Republic Forces and the coming home of Vanguard Fleet, the Atlantis was sent to fights in Tau 31 and Leeds as well as further combat operations in Coronado. The ship played a huge role in the reconquista of Tau 44 and has been guarding the system since its liberation.
