Major Proteus was looking over his window port and all he could see was Yuma. All around you, people were chatting and they were checking their PDA and other small equipment. For a moment, Proteus felt that he is on a pleasure trip but the weight of his armour reminded him where he was, aboard the Copernicus with his two battalions from the 21st "Eagle".

Looking around him, he realised that his soldiers were no older than 28 years old, even the officers, being one of the youngest Battalions from the Ground Forces, but they were all heavily trained as Marines.

"Ahh, I wish we can have had another drink on Oceanica.." he heard one of the closest soldiers mentioning and immediately he look down on the planet. A ball of water, with it's strange fauna and flora, a place he called home but he started to feel that it may not return to it.

"Rendevous with Triton in 10 minutes. Jump engines are already spinning on the Zephyr. All personnel, Black Alert. Store any material in the racks and secure yourself."

Ten minutes he thought and he looked at the Soldiers, their moves so well rehearsed that now it seemed as their second nature. But he had work, while all the others were busy strapping themselves in he started to check the inventory for ammo and other necessities such as Combat Medics and Engineers. He didn't realise that all of this action took him the whole 10 minutes and he ran to his place, from where he could saw the Zephyr already beginning to slowly alter the Space-Time Continuum.

"Reading about this and actually experiencing is a different thing, isn't it Emmanuel?"

"Oui, but this is my third jump. Last time we jumped on a high orbit near a plane with our Celestra and could feel the G's kicking in before our dampeners, almost bite my tongue out."

"This is not a planetary jump but let's hope for the best."

"Sir, look, see that, is almost charged, get ready ... "

Proteus could see that the Zephyr was in high orbit near the Yuma planet but soon he just saw a flash of pink light and soon, the lights of Coronado Sun disappeared and the lights of Omega 3 came in sight.

"Jump 211 successful. Getting telemetry back, Navigation, please confirm our position"

"Omega 3, Confirmed. 23 clicks from Aland Shipyard. Confirmed. "

"AIT, prepare yourself. We shall proceed with Plan Cell 3. Prepare your gear and remember that insert points will be also on the outer space."

Proteus acknowledge the instructions and before he departed to his weapon lockers, he saw the Triton shrinking as the Copernicus was gaining speed. "Not enough time" he thought but he hurried to grab his kit and he ordered his battalions to get ready.

10 minute later the Copernicus approached the mooring point of Aland and a voice came over the speakers: "AIT, prepare to unload."

"Yes, Captain, proceeding. Battalion 1, proceed to unload, you know your designed areas, pay extra attention to CIC, Damage Control, Auxiliary CIC, Secondary Damage Control, Auxiliaries and Utilities. 1st and 2nd Companies, proceed to Engineering and Core. Make sure you secure them. Company 3 take the tertiary position and the 4th move on the outside of the station and take control of all the docking entries. Remember Soldiers, we are here with a job and Do not use Violence! Non-lethal weapons unless your life is in immediate danger! You get me?"

"Sir, yes, sir!"

"We are the Eagles, the Mighty Eagles. I want this to be done by the book" and he proceeds to exit point to join his companies.

Meanwhile, on...
...Planet Sprague, Sector 34, Temporary Assembly Point Alpha Sigma "TAPAS"

Colonel Vickson, of the 5th IAF, had seen the majority of his corps safely into their designated transports, equipment in toe.

The order of "battle", according to the detailed plan, was as follows;
・Twelve (12) Heavily modified "Clydesdale" class Freighters, each capable of holding fifty (50) Marines and their equipment.
・One (1) Military specification "Shire" class Transport, equipped with forty (40) self propelled infiltration pods, airlock "soft infiltration" specification (minimal hull damage), each pod containing twenty (20) Marines and equipment.
・One (1) Bretonia "Palace" Class Liner, equipped for prisoner containment, already in orbit with the three hundred (300) engineers of engineer corp, and a further nine hundred (900) Marines, awaiting orders to move when the dust settled, or as reinforcement.
・Sixteen (16) "Templar" class Very Heavy Fighters in wings of eight (8), twelve (12) "Challenger" class Bombers in wings of six (6) to shadow the takeover force and act as a quick response to space borne threats.
・Two (2) "Crecy" class Destroyers escorted by four (4) "Churchill" class Heavy Gunboats

Totaling;
2400 Marines (1500 initial, in multiple waves, with 900 in reserve),
300 engineers,
14 People Carriers, 28 Snub Craft and 6 Capital Ships.

Meanwhile, the Norfolk Battle-group was on standby should more heavy assets be required to subdue space borne threats if need be. That being said, the infiltration groups' primary advantage was it utilized modified transports that would not immediately draw attention from the stations defense wings. If they did, the Snub and Capital forces would move in post-haste to provide cover.

Much of this plan was based on the assumption that our Crayter allies were able to subdue the station and open the docking bays to the transports, the Shire-based pods were capable of hostile infiltration of airlocks, however it too was assumed that airlock control lay in the hands of Crayter forces, and they need only open the unlocked airlocks. Should Crayter fail, the Challenger wings would proceed to open the docking bays through more primitive methods. All in all, the operation was to do as little collateral damage as need be. Once the Marines were station side however, there is of course no saying what level of resistance the crew and its security personnel were going to provide.

"Colonal Vickson, we have been given the green light, surveillance has picked up the pre-registered Crayter signals close to Aland, board your Clyde and be off with you, God save the Queen" The raspy voice of the group commander bellowed down the comms, if the force had not departed within 5 minutes of his last word, a box on the operation evaluation form would be given a red cross (to indicate poor performance), and the Colonel would have to write a 5 page report on why he was not ready to leave on time and in the necessitated haste. Such was the armed forces methods.

"Roger, be back in time for tea sir", the Colonel responded in typical Bretonian understated style. Make no mistake however, the operation was of absolute importance for the war against the Gallic forces, forces which threatened the families of every single Marine under the Colonels command this day.

The ships broke atmosphere in short order (3 minutes 37 seconds to be precise), the Shire notably slower than the pack. Effort was made to move in a disorderly fashion, so as to blend in to the Omega 3 traffic heading towards Rheinland. The escort forces moved as if they were merely paroling the system for Corsairs, and to the untrained eye no indication of their purpose would be seen.
