Préambule:

The final offensive on the Bretonians is about to begin. The supply of our forces, their preparations, the analize of the plans took several months. Each soldier of the Roi noticed one thing during his advance in the Bretonian space : the battles become harder and bloody than ever. In this period of ‘preparations ‘ l’Etat Major had to take risks to ensure our chance of victories against the meanless alliance of the Bretonians, Libertonians and their terrorists friends.

Few days ago, the Guillestre Battlefleet was called to participate to the reinforcement of the Leeds’ security. Most of our fleets are scattered on multiple fronts, as the Bretonian one’s or Roussillon. Our remaining forces within the Taus regions are pretty low and they lack of proper coordination for patrols or sufficient firepower to deal with criminal groups as the Outcasts or the Crayterians.

The Gallic patrols in the Taus informed us about a worrisome increasing of the Outcasts raids on our supply lines. While for now the local squadrons managed to handle the situation, the departure of the Guillestre is a golden opportunity for the Maltesses to attack our transports. The station of Java in Tau-23, which was defended by the Guillestre is now without proper defensive assets.





In order to solve this dangerous situation and avoid a Taus crisis, the Admirals, under my initiative, allowed bringing the Task Force Malouines previously in reserve in the Taus. The Task force has as mission to protect our supply lines, the station of Java and to push back the Outcasts main warships out of Tau-23. The Independant Miners Guild gave us very detailed informations about Tau-37, the system from where the Outcasts are coming from. The jump hole is not far of Java station and thus an Outcasts strike is possible at any moment. The Task Force Malouines will hide the lack of Gallic forces by launching numerous raids against the Oucasts inTau-37. This intox will make our enemy think that we are outnumbering them.





We don’t expect to fight so much inTau-23 if we take the initiative in time. The Task Force Malouines will be deployed in Tau-23. The RNS-Sombre.Destin will be the operation center and will defend Java station against potential raids. The other capital ships have to defend our supply lines and the different outposts under our control. We’ve deployed several squadrons that are willing to hold the Cali’s forces far from ours.





The main part of the Operation takes place in Tau-37. The jump hole is very accessible as for the Outcasts as for us. The Independant Miner Guild has a base within the system under the pression of the Maltesses fleets. However the south Ice cloud is not properly adapted for capital fights. The Miners aswell told us that the Outcasts are restocking from the Zoner Freeport 10. They mostly took the control of the installation. A division of cruisers and battlecruisers from the front reserve will handle the Maltesse warships while our bombers destroy them.

We don’t have all the time of the world to do this operation. But it is vital for the war to secure our supply lines and make the potential of the Maltesses weakened. And this goes by this operation. The Roi is asking a last effort!
