Welcome to the first edition of Rheinland Independent News. I am Marx Stadt, and ill be your host today.

For today`s segment I have the Inspekteur of Rheinland Federal Polizei, Kara von Thielau. Ill cut to the chase as i know Kara is a very busy person, and even this interview is a miracle to have happen.

How are you finding the new position?
The new position is a very comfortable position. Although I have many paperwork to do, I know I'm doing a valuable service for the Vaterland, also I cannot imagine a better Führungsstab, my team works very efficiently to secure our people.

Why do you want to be in this industry?
Well, there is no better service than the Vaterlandsdienst. You can protect those who cannot protect themself anymore or are too young. Protecting the house against terrorists and the challenge to lead an agency, that's what makes it so interesting for me.

Tell us a bit about yourself?
You better ask my friends about that laughsWell, I'm a young woman in her golden twenties, yet buried by work, but I think I'm a strong person and able to compensate that. smiles I'm a family person. There is nothing more valuable than the family, in my eyes. My father taught us the values of the Vaterland and the values of our family. I was born on Stuttgart and live ther in the familie's estate. My sister and I played often in the green forests until our mother called us back to teach us in every subject the other children had to visit too she looked down and smiles a bit good old times... Without my Sister, I couldn't do the daily work, she means a lot to me.

What is your greatest weakness?
Weakness? What is that? laughs heartly No, well, a person in my position can't really allow her a weakness. But, if you want a serious answer, I really can't accept it that I can't save evrybody from terror and communism. If I don't get used to that it could make me suffer mentally a lot in the future, but I will work on that, I promise laughs

What is your professional goals for the future?
Professional goals? Hmmm... Well, I can't tell you what the Polizei plans for the future, it's still classified, but we will make a public Press Release soon enough to inform the citizens. she takes a sip of coffe For myself, I don't have other political goals, I'm busy and happy being the Inspekteur of the Bundespolizei. she puts away her coffe again

How can one apply to join the police and is there certain criteria?
Hmm, I'm happy about the people that join the Polizei, especially the young generation. If you ask me for criterias, The one's that are most important are, that the new Kadett hasn't committed serious crimes especially working for the Red Hessian Army before. The second most important criteria is, that the Applicant is able to protect himself, means, he should be healthy and not too old for the service.

Recently Vierlande prison was attacked. What will be the course of action?
The loss of the Vierlande was predictable due to the Westfalen leaving to the front, we got informed about a probable attack by a informant whose name I will keep secret for his safety. We evacuated the Station shortly before the hostile fleet arrived. I cannot go into detail now, but the Polizei plans to compensate the loss of the prison.

Any new developments within the police that the public should know about?
No, there are none now... Ah except one thing, we have recently worked on a new relationship with the Daumann company. The Polizei forces will recieve several new fighter wings in order to fight the terrorists very soon. One step closer to the defeat of these small terrorist groups.

Any words of encouragement to the people of Rheinland?
she looks in the camera Bürger of Rheinland, the Polizei is facing a golden Age, we are as effective as never before. Your Vaterland stays safe even while the Rheinwehr is at the front. Do not fear the pirates, help your Vaterland, join the Polizei! We will work together, together for a safer Rheinland!

Danke für das Interview smiles

There you have it people, straight out of the Inspekteurs mouth. This is all we have for today, Please vote on the poll of who you want us to interview next.

Welcome to Rheinland Independent News. I am Marx Stadt, and ill be your host today.

Today we have Direktor Enfield from BDM. DUe to recent events, we wont be disclosing the location of Mr Enfield.

Guten Tag Mr Enfield, how are you feeling after the recent attack on your person?
Better, much better. Fortunately I didn’t lose my other arm otherwise I’d be forking out money for a replacement limb. But other than being out in the field, I think I can cope signing papers behind a desk… Not that I enjoy it but my doctors say I can’t do anything too strenuous for the next week. At least I’m not walking around with a stick or anything; that would be the end of me.

A bit of a background question for the people that are familiar with you, how long have you been at BDM and what were you doing before you joined?
Ah-hah… Well… Around 5 years or so now, but my expertise out in the field stretches longer than that and my in agency experience saw me taking place as Direktor under its administration reforms, it was what got me hired by the agency in the first place but after the second year or so, I guess bonds started to be made and now I can hardly separate from my agents and personnel. But what I was doing beforehand is unfortunately classified, I’m sorry but unless you have clearance, that’s how it’s going to be.

Since you have recalled BDM forces from the front line to the inner systems of Rheinland, there has been a bit of open backlash and support. What made you decide to publicly announce it, rather than keeping it away from the public eyes?
People are scared back home, while this war is raging on up north, places like Hamburg are continually getting hit again and again by local terrorist cells that have grown with the absence of the Military. The destruction of Fulda and its gate was financially damaging yes? Send in more soldiers to risk more lives while other regions are getting hit harder by people we equally see as our countrymen and women? The problem with working in the agency is that you see all the information… And I mean all of it, not just whats broadcasted on the news by the 3 main channels.

Fulda itself is starting to become dwarfed in serious events compared to Hamburg, while any loss of life is just mournful, it’s like the Military are dismissing it while marching into Kusari. So announcing the withdrawal of the BDM fleet was to assure civilians they were not forgotten and for them to hear that had to settle the moods at least. The problem is, soldiers on the front won’t hear whats happening back home as easily once they’re out on the field doing their duty… That I can attest to myself.

Do you think the attack on your person is a direct result of that statement?
I’d like to say yes. But in honesty, I don’t know. The last place I expected to be hit was the Bundestag itself, a hidden blade even past the federal security? So right now, it’s just speculation. No doubt there are different opinions and with Rheinland involved in many conflicts within its history, it’s my job to ensure we don’t enter any while ensuring the security of our territory. Sometimes I have to go over the line to point out these issues.

Do you have any leads on who attacked you?
This man himself seems to be difficult to track down, seems like a denizen that’s lived off record, paid even his smallest meals and largest purchases in used charge cards. Not even any real ID except for the forged documents we found on his person… Either he was very good at covering his identity or it was just his background playing as luck.

In recent media supporting/criticizing your statement, the trend #enfieldisanomad has been overwhelming. Do you have any comments about that?
That’s just… Dumb. It’s stupid, I’m sorry but it’s nothing but a buzz word fielded by anonymity. And trust me, anonymity can make you do crazy things on the net. But I couldn’t care less, my hospital records are clean and my agency ones even more detailed for their clinical approval. Besides, those aliens would have preferred us to fight rather than obtain a peace with minimal casualties, this war will not achieve that. Again, this is people over the internet that don’t what they’re talking about.

Just in, news about the sigma 21 gate construction being attacked, and that "Rheinland Officials with their Lane Hackers allies will not let Ageira off the hook so easily". Do you have any comment on this or any insight that Rheinland was working with Lane hackers?
What do you think? What’s the Hackers agenda? The gate itself was run by Ageira, their absolute arch-enemy when it comes to their objectives. Any effort to absolutely destroy their reputation is their goal and as such their news broadcast is obviously just their methods rather than attacking them outright in war-zones they can’t reach. Now, I know that Ageira and the Federal republics relations has been tense as of late, but I presume along with the agency is that the Lane Hackers are just trying to capitalize on it.

But I can assure you that we most likely know if the Secretary herself was working with the Lane Hackers and as of right now I’ve got nothing to show for it. Although I must say that Ageira’s efforts to build the gate in the conflict zone was quite an idiotic move. Risking civilian lives like this is what creates the “Non-caring-Megacorporation” stigma and potentially it will appear as reality if behaviour like this continues with people’s lives. Whatever people say, war is hell and no matter if you’re a bystander or an active soldier, if you’re in the conflict zone, expect to get hit.

I won't ask how soon you will be back in action as that may be classified information. But any future plans that you are able to share with the citizens of Rheinland?
I can’t say anything apart from, “We’re here. And that you’re not forgotten.”

Thank you Mr Enfield for taking time to address us and the citizens of Rheinland.

Next episode we will be having someone on to clear some stories and to give us some facts.

Welcome to Rheinland Independent News. I am Marx Stadt, and ill be your host today.Today we have the CEO of Ageira, John White

How are you today?
Greetings. Everything is going well.

In a brief description what does Ageira do?
We provide faster-than-light travel solutions in the form of Jump Gates and Trade Lanes. We offer high-reliability space-planet elevators known as Docking Rings. We are the leading personal security Light Arms designers and manufacturers. We are providers of innovations in various technological fronts.

With Ageira and EFL being at "war" with each other over Trade Lanes, can you tell us how you intend on winning? Of course without giving crucial details out.
We would not claim to be at war considering that we simply wish to provide the best possible products to our clients. It is no secret that we have the majority of contracts around the houses due to our reliable and elegant Jump Gates or Trade Lanes. There is no winning because we are simply striving to connect as much of civilization as possible and we are pleased when our corporation is chosen to do that.

With the design of Gallia Trade Lanes and Jump Gates, will Ageira be looking to upgrade their old design which has been around Sirius for hundreds of years, to something new and modern?
We are constantly refining the inner details of our monumental products by increasing efficiency and reliability but to lower expenses for our clients we do not intend to replace our products. Our constructions are small and elegant because of innovations we bring to the field. We have already completed and successfully used the Super Gate in order to connect systems that are so far away and our competition has nothing on us in that front. We hope to make more advances and be able to connect more far-off locations with the advent of Super Gates.

What is your stance with Kusari and Rheinland? Are you neutral to both sides?
We don't take a stance with our clients. We are a corporation that is contracted for projects. If Kusari and Rheinland wants to hire us for building their Jump Gates and Trade Lanes we strive to complete the contracts without any prejudice. Even during Liberty-Rheinland war we continued to maintain Rheinland's network despite facing heavy obstacles in a form of denied docking rights to Planets or Police stations, constant discrimination for being in Rheinland despite delivering our White Boxes. This is the same for foreign conflicts where we still do work for both sides. The moment we stop manufacturing parts for their networks is the moment their traffic starts to cripple. We have no intention to do this and such option is reserved only if the government takes a hostile stance against Ageira's activities or procedures.

Recently we heard about the sigma 21 Jump Gate construction site being blown up. Can you give more information about what happened?
Stories are going around Ageira personnel died and some saying it's false. This has been a hot topic, indeed. We have not made any announcements in this regards simply because we have nothing to announce. Yes, Kusari contracted us to build Jump Gate in Sigma-21 which by our estimation is noone's land. We would have done same for Rheinland if they hired us to do it. When it comes to the siege of Sigma-21 Construction Site, Rheinland Military gave ample of time for civilian personnel to evacuate before laying waste upon Kusari's property. Which is understandable in such conflict and we have no grudge or complaint against Rheinland.

Going back to the conflict between EFL and Ageira. EFL has been making new Trade Lanes from Frankfurt to Sigma 15. Will Ageira be doing similar works in Sirius to venture where they haven't before? Like say Omega 49?
As previously mentioned we are always looking forwards to connecting as much of civilization as possible. Whether residents hires us to build them a network or not is up to them. Due to financial expenses not all systems are viable for connecting. Most houses are connecting systems if it brings economical benefit which is main factor for coverage. After all, we are unable to work for no profit as we have thousands of employees who would hate to miss their payday.

Pirates and Lane hackers love to mess around with the Trade Lanes. Which cause all kinds of chaos. Is there plans to improve their Trade Lanes security?
The number of incidences could be lowered if there were more police patrols. Such solution would be cheaper for houses in comparison to us improving and enhancing security on Trade Lanes. Just imagine what one or two additional patrols per hour would costs in a system versus the cost of reconstructing dozen of Trade Lanes in the same systems. We could do it, but that would be costly and most likely not pay-off for itself for houses.

With regards to wormholes. Ageira has always advised against the use of wormholes. Why shouldn't the people use wormholes? what evidence do you have to not use wormholes? Or have you changed your view?
We have always been opponents of using unstable wormholes due to their nature. Evidencing missing people without their ships' black boxes is hard to do but a quick glance at missing ship registry could potentially reveal the high percentage of captains who would rather risk and use a wormhole rather than pay tariffs for using reliable and proven Trade Lanes and Jump Gates. The greed of these people have led to thousands of families losing their relatives. Just use our Trade Lanes, pay the tariff and live to have a beer or two at the end of your shift.

There you have it people, straight from Ageira, no one was harmed at Sigma 21 Jump gate construction site.

Next episode will be a mystery, because it is up to the audience. Reaching out to all of Sirius, if you want to appear here to be interviewed, or want us to interview someone of interest, contact me directly and I will make it happen. There wont be a deadline, but the first 5 will get picked. Maybe if its hot enough, we can have more than one on air!!

Guten tag Rheinland, this is Marx Stadt reporting live from the Rheinland Federal Polizei – Bundesgrenzschutz Passing-out Parade in New Berlin.

Behind me in the covered seating where the guests of honour will be seated. Here you will find people such as Heads of Rheinland Corporations, Admirals, Direktors, government politicians and sometimes their partners. To my left here is where the parade will take place, to put on a grand display for their stakeholders and for the crowd behind them.

Many hours of preparations goes into a single event like this which lasts around an hour or two. According to rumours, the number of new recruits for this specialized division who passed is along the line of 2000 men and women. The law enforcements enjoy doing parades as it is a show of force for all to see, and today we will be getting a big dose of that.
The guests are arriving now, and they being ushered to their seating. Unfortunately we can’t broadcast at this moment live footage due to the high profile of guests and it being a bit too early.

I just got word that Direktor Zorn has just arrived in an escorted motorcade; let’s see if we can get a view of them.

In the distance I can see Direktor Zorn with Inspekteurin von Thielau having a conversation to what seems like about the parade. Here come the executives of our Rheinland corporations, smiling as always. From the look on their faces, they woke up in a great mood today. Maybe a good day for some employees to ask for an increase in pay. I can see some members of the Rheinwehr arriving as well with the various divisions of the MND.

Well it looks like today is indeed going to be eventful. While they are all still arriving and setting up, we will return to the studio.

**moments later**

Welcome back, this is Marx Stadt reporting live from the Rheinland Federal Polizei – Bundesgrenzschutz Passing-out Parade in New Berlin.

The parade is about to begin, there is indeed a lot of new members that have passed today. We can see the RFP-BG marching band playing right in front, in full uniform not missing a beat. From what I can tell is that after them it is recruits wearing various uniforms depending on their placement. This is indeed a diverse group.

Direktor Zorn and Ms Caspers, Staafsekretarin of the Bundestag are heading out together to do an inspection. Normally this is done by the Inspekteurin, Admirals, or Direktors of a law enforcement agency sometimes with heads of state. So this is a bit of something new. They now heading to the podium, which I gather it’s time for the motivational speeches. Direktor Zorn takes the podium.

Speeches given at the parade

Wow there you have it what a display, especially with the unexpected air show we got from the Rheinwehr. It truly has been a great day for everyone who is present. But it is time to see the new recruits off and call this event over. On a side note, it looks like Karl-Heinz has been promoted to Admiral. This is surely a sign that our forces are doing exceptionally well on the front lines against Kusari and GMG. Hopefully we get to catch up to him later.

We will try get a few pics of the VIP guests back at the conference area. I’m not sure if we will be allowed in. If we can get in, maybe I will be able to interview some guests.

(Direktor Earl Zorn if RFP-BG after the event)

Guten tag Direktor Zorn, may I ask you a few questions before you become busy again?

Yes, of course you may. How may I help?

Firstly, congratulations on today’s success and on the new recruits. I know you said in your speech on how the Bundesgrenzschutz will be conducting business, but how will these change things in Rheinland?

Well, The RFP is very capable on securing Rheinland space, alongside the BDM and instructed by our government. But when it comes to border worlds, upholding the security of our borders, the RFP mandate didn’t fully cover this. We mostly relied on the Rheinwehr and MND to protect our borders, but as you know with the war happening, all available resources are being sent to the front line. So the Rheinwehr and RFP have come to an agreement to initialise this division. We will hold down the borders from now until after the war. The officers of the Rheinwehr have been at war for a long time, so when they return, they will get the much needed break they deserve. Until they return we will be handling those posts, and when they return we will stay with them.

Why would you stay with the Rheinwehr once they have had their break?

The reason is some officers don’t handle coming home very well once subjected to a war. It is not their fault, but sometimes they find other forms of relief or break rank. So the Bundesgrenzschutz will be there to ensure that if anyone breaks rank, they are detained and cared for appropriately. Best we catch this early and resolve it, rather than let it fester and get out of hand. Plus the Rheinwehr has more important issues to worry about than officers going AWOL or breaking the law. If any officer of any law enforcement agency breaks the law or an arrest warrant is issued for them, the Bundesgrenzschutz will be making the arrest.

Won’t that cause confusion when or if an officer is arrested by someone lower ranked?

No it won’t be confusing. We handle it case by case. The appropriate Bundesgrenzschutz officer will be issued with the warranty according to his rank, and then execute that warrant. In the rare cases, I will lead the arrest myself. I must go, is there anything else?

Yes Sir, lastly, are we allowed to attend the conference area? To do interviews, get opinions and take photos?

The media is allowed in, but I am going to ask to keep a low profile. Not many guests here want to be interviewed or photographed. So I suggest you replace your data card in your camera, and then follow me in. Upon leaving your data cards will be inspected and any unwanted or unauthorized photos will be deleted.
