To all available tactical elements:

At 1851 ZULU the Research Vessel Leitrim entered the Hudson system and was fired upon by an installation. It appears that Separatists or some other form of hostile entity has towed a mobile installation within immediate range of the Texas jump-gate, and is now firing upon all hostile traffic, including our research vessel. While I can report that the Leitrim escaped unharmed, it would be a severe breach of the LSF's mission to allow any installation such as this to constrict the free trade artery that Hudson represents.

All LIBCOMEAST elements are to mobilize by 0315Z and form in Texas to engage this installation, and any who may seek to defend it. Operational command for this mission will be LSF TacOps lead elements, or those equivalents in the First Fleet, Fifth Fleet, or Police if necessary as field situation permits. Acknowledge and report.

SITREP as follows:

At 0315 ZULU, the LSF Mobile Operations Base Freedom along with the LPI fast attack cruiser San Quentin and the LSF auxiliary cruiser Ouroboros moved into the Hudson system and engaged the hostile outpost. Initially, one Hellfire snubcraft kept at-range and reconnoitered the flotilla before departing under duress. As reports of a Rogue strike group were heard over LIBCENTCOM channels, our force was bolstered by the LSF gunboat Menwith Hill, the LPI flagship command center Leavenworth, and the First Fleet heavy asset Malrone. Shortly thereafter, the secondary fleet Bulwark of Liberty arrived, and the combined force drove off the Rogue attack without incident.

Continued siege went without significance, as our force was bolstered by the arrival of the battlecruiser Willow Grove and the Fifth Fleet heavy asset Antietam. At 0515 ZULU, the outpost was destroyed with all hands, and the task force returned to Houston unharmed. All attached forces should now return to normal duties.
