All available tactical forces:

Hostile forces within the LIBSOUTHCOM area of responsibility, e.g. BERING, have grown beyond and are operating outside of established boundaries.

Certain forces and resources have been made available to LIBSOUTHCOM, after the dissolution of extraneous agencies and unnecessary projects.

Effective immediately, all non-essential SECFOR, NAVYSOUTHCOM, and LIBPOL elements operating in the LIBSOUTHCOM AOR are now under the tactical command of the LSF DIRECTORATE through field agents-in-command 'VERITAS' and 'TRACER'.

Effective immediately, the Battlecruiser LEHIGH has been assigned to spearhead RECONNAISSANCE, SURVEILLANCE, and ASYMMETRIC WARFARE actions within the system of BERING.

As formed and at the discretion of LSF agents-in-command, LIBSOUTHCOM elements will engage and harry forces and installations within the system of BERING, as defined and prioritized by the operations of LEHIGH.

The operation, henceforth known as SENTINEL, will continue until hostile elements within the BERING system are significantly depleted, or LIBSOUTHCOM forces are forced to tactically withdraw. Priority targets before further identification and prioritization include the Unioner stronghold PACIFICA and the Separatist stronghold MARSHALL. Secondary targets include the liberation of the civilian installation FREEPORT TWO. As the system is under permanent blockade, all assets outside LIBSOUTHCOM within the system may be considered expendable.

At this time I am reporting 100% combat readiness in Task Force SENTINEL. Heavy assets FREEDOM and REVENANT are on standby to provide direct action support within the sector. Forward asset LEHIGH has already reported multiple splashed hostile contacts by our forward-deployed elements. Special task forces under the command of asset MENWITH HILL are standing by to conduct raids deep into Unioner and Harmony-held territory.

Intelligence has been mixed since initial deployment. Unioner activity is largely unchanged from previous elevated numbers, but Harmony forces have been spotted moving en masse. There have been repeated sightings of the former Navy assets HARMONY and DISCOVERY, moving with their own task groups and elements. Engagement at the edge of these movements has been successful but limited in strategic scope. In addition, NAVSOUTHCOM participation is lower than hoped, but within expected boundaries. Continuous operations near New London have all but eliminated support from the greater Navy beyond their continued defense of Houston airspace.

Current fleet movements would indicate a 1.73 : 1 engagement ratio of heavy assets between Harmony forces and TF SENTINEL. A similar simulation on currently mobilized Unioner forces places that ratio at 1.23 : 1. While I would like to call this an even fight, I hesitate to be so flippant in the face of such uneven odds. TacOps and IA will continue to work closely to find alternatives to bolster our forces and devise new strategies to outmaneuver and displace the enemy.
