Biography

Tanya von Rerugen was born in a family of Daumann employed miners, that lived and worked on Solarius station - before the collapse of Omega-11. Most of her childhood have passed aboard the station - even back then, prior to the economic catastrophe of the Nomad War, an average corporate employee could not afford to give his child proper education away from the extreme conditions of the slowly dying stellar system and it's red giant maintaining a strong system-wide radiation background only briefly weakened by the planet Schutz - a dying world of numerous volcanos and lava seas.
An opportunity to move elsewhere only arose when Tanya turned eighteen; as any other citizen of Sirius, by that age she'd finish her secondary education, and it was time to move on with the further education. Liberal enough for their daughter to choose her future on her own instead of forcing her into the most "perspective" direction, with only one advice - not to follow their steps.
Tanya already had her own way in mind.
For the first time in her life von Rerugen have stepped on a solid ground - the atmosphere of New Berlin differed drastically from what she got used to - corridors of grey steel and tight spaces contributing in developing the fear of closed spaces; getting planetside have slowly been denting that fear, leaving no trace of it in a short time.
She arrived to New Berlin to attend the Federal Military Academy - officers graduating it have the best chance to proceed with a career in the Rheinland Bundeswehr - the goal Tanya ultimately aimed for. Five years after, in the rank of lieutenant - she got accepted into the ranks of Military. After several exams and extensive checks, her physical state was confusing enough for multiple extensive tests - yet, she managed to pass all the checks, even if not without complications.

Ironically, her first assignment was to relocate to Omega-11 for security purposes: in the early days of the year the war between Rheinland and Liberty was still raging on, most of the veteran pilots and officers are on the frontlines while the greenhorns are prosecuting the law in the most distant systems along with the corporate security divisions - the police remained at home to keep peace domestically, those regions were simply out of their reach. Her prolonged flawless service lasted until the first concerning signs have been observed in the system.
By the time Omega-11 was abandoned and ceased to exist - Tanya have stricken through the ranks up to major, and have been assigned to the Westfalen battlegroup, ordered to relocate to Hamburg after a month long vacation.
There, she spent the next year in Hamburg, sanitizing minor threats among other pilots - the neighboring system of Bering have became a criminal cesspol, with Unioners and other, less organised elements lingering the system and frequently disrupting the civilian traffic.
When the first clashes of the now raging Kusari-Rheinland war have occured, Tanya von Rerugen have been given an extraordinary promotion to Fregattenkapitän and a new assignment to Frankfurt - as a part of the defense force to repel occasional raids of stray Kusari forces and other, less pleasant criminal elements.

Physical condition

Prolonged existance contiguously with the radioactive environment of the Red Giant stellar system have affected Tanya greatly. Her small height is explained by the extensively accelerated cell degeneration; to which her body attempted to adapt - the lost cells were replaced, but the degeneration rate was too high for generation to exceed it, and thus she haven't seen much growth despite her age. It can be considered a great luck that she suffered no negative consequences despite the most obvious one (and the necessity to tailor military uniform), but it is yet to be seen if more are to be revealed in time.

01.09.817 A.S. - enters the Federal Military Academy on New Berlin.
01.09.817 - 30.07.823 A.S. - student years in the Federal Military Academy on New Berlin.
01.08.823 - 25.08.823 A.S. - final exams in the Federal Military Academy.
28.08.823 - 30.08.823 A.S. - graduation from the Academy. First assignment to the Omega-11.
10.10.823 - June 825 A.S. - active service in Omega-11.
June 825 - July 825 A.S. - Omega-11 collapse. New assignment. Relocation to Hamburg, battlegroup Westfalen.
July 825 - Spring 826 A.S. - active service in Hamburg.
June 826 A.S. - Westfalen relocated to Honshu. Re-assignment to Frankfurt, extraordinary promotion to Fregattenkapitän. Prinz Eugen is comissioned into service, Tanya granted the command over the Bismarck.
July 826 A.S. - Tensions between the Rheinwehr and the Buro grow further. Tanya and her crew express their support to Buro and retreat to Bering, accepting the fugitive status and seeking refuge at Liberty Separatists facilities.
