"Documentation: Omicron Phi Stations"

Bastia Station

A relatively quiet station used to supply Corsica Outer Sanctum, greeting or opening fire on incomming or outgoing vessels. For anything that comes from Omicron Alpha jumphole it serves as a vanguard point of defense with its own specialized taskforce composed mainly of Rapiers and Falcatas. Since space is quiet majority of the time, it is a point where Guards come to relax and take up easy duties as checking vessels within the station's range. Which was mostly automatized by computers since IRMM came to power. Still, human deduction can be superior to machine's at times.

It has several large cargo holds connected into station's structure, which allow Bastia to fill its function for months without a need for resupply, minimizing traffic by a large margin and allowing this regoin of space to be under tight control of Guards. Bastia is not unprepared though, the liner/transport holding point is capable of housing similiary sized warships for quick and easy cargo exchange or should it be needed, a repair dock.

With its vast supplies, any ship can find its consumables, weapons or armor. Allowing Bastia to support capital ships from point blank range with several computer controlled turrets and a powerful scanner array aswell. Welcoming any unfriendly visitors with a set of shots they can't evade when emerging from the jumphole.

Being carved into the rock and most of its systems hidden inside, means the station has a minimal upkeep cost to the Administrators of Corsica and having a duty on this station is a vacation to virtually anyone. In case of a planned visit, a squadron of several gunboats and fighters is ready to escort a guest wherever needed, tightly sticking to flight plan and never revealing more than allowed. Bastia is a communication node between Malta and Corsica.

Corsica Outer Sanctum

Massive black asteroid base partially constructed by unknown hands. Nowadays it's the main base of "Maltese Military Research Institute", producing the most massive of Maltese Warships. Internal structure contains giant storage space taking nearly a half of the base size, which is hidden under the city. On the scale of taking space, second one is the massive supercomputer array, holding information raging from simple door access to secret projects run by the Institute. It's a full fledged city built for any needs necessary. With several interconnected Ranseur class Singularity Reactors it's not possible to run out of electricity in foreseeable future.

Every Maltese is given a choice for PDA or Neural implant to have means of interaction with the city and chats with other Maltese on board. Crime is literally unexistent due to only the most patriotic Maltese living inside. With everyone having a Military training, it's not suitable for anyone to conduct crimes. The City is the pinnacle of Maltese ingenuity ran by The Institute, holding many secrets to Maltese way of life. It's the center of Maltese technology development and intelligence divisions. Protected by a massive dangerous minefield and Dreadnought Captana.

Cardamine City

Dreadnought Captana

D5-2A "Ranseur" Dreadnought the Flagship of Maltese Nacion. Used to be only maintained before Administrators decided to upgrade it's internal parts and outer hull. It receives the most care and ideas from Maltese pilots all around the space. Currently holding sellpoints for Snubs, it's the coordination HQ for squadrons, just as Corsica is for capital fleet. A testbed for the newest prototype technology.

Sporting the only Dark Matter Reactor/Engine prototype in existence thanks to Omicron Phi being on the edge of Sirius, with easy access to inter-cluster space where Dark matter is at its peak. It is the beauty and beast that protects Corsica. Mighty appearance scares off any would be attackers. And Many meetings of IRMM happen there. It is speculated that they want to outfit the ship with a cloaking device due to its powergenerator's capability to suppot unimaginably large energy drains.

While Researchers are on Corsica, most of the Agents are on Captana, gathering intelligence on foreign military technologies or research and hatching plans on how to acquire it for studying. Administrators can be seen on both stations alike.

Unidentified destroyed station

Not too long ago, Administrators and Agents have stumbled upon what seemed like an anomaly in the middle of nowhere. With remnants of a former station with large cargo storage that apparently used to be attached to it.

It was a rather small station that was operated by only few people, dedicated to the research of this anomaly that nearly caused one Agent to loose his life when he got rather close to it. From the scans and what was salvaged of the station, it appears the anomaly is either a newly forming jump-hole or some new of kind exotic-particles forming a dense mini-sun that apparently destroyed this outpost.

It was forgotten about since nobody asked for supplies and no distress signal was detected. The exact time of its destruction is currently unknown and Administrators are looking into its possible restoration.
