Following the Velvet Organisations rapid expansion, the standard HQ ship of the Gold never would be able to keep up with what was needed on the front lines. Since the need for a larger vessel arose, so did the availability of the older more run down Aquilons that were being swapped out for new models. After a few quiet back end deals, Melissa Jones would be able to ensure that Velvet had access to the first of their major capital ship assets outside of the Black Kite merger.

Although still lacking a lot of the more modern components that the newer models of the Aquilons have, The Cryolite is by far among the most advanced assets that the Velvet Organisation now has to offer. With the future plans of the vessel to be upgrading and uprating of internal systems, integration of technology by Core, Order and IRG, finally reinforcing and uprating of the hull, and most importantly, increasing it's utility capabilities of cloaking along with disruption, docking bay upgrades and communication equipment.

Although not outfitted directly to be on the front lines, it can still fulfil the role of another battleship, just with a lot more supportive capabilities.

The Cryolite is currently the standing Flagship of the Velvet Organisation as well as the primary ship of Freeport 11's defence.

The Carrier Kaldra was originally commissioned as one of the Flagships for the Confederation of Freeport's, to be commanded by Jerard Voncloud who at the time was one of the joint leaders of the CoF. Built to be a command ship with long range support focused weapons and modules the Kaldra was often on the front lines during the various Omicron Delta conflicts it has fought against Order, Core and Nomad ship's including monstrous sized morphs not before seen. Its most notable engagement as a Confederation Flagship was in the defence of Fort Carthage, a station built beside Freeport 11, that despite its best intentions drew the ire of the Order who, joined with the Corsairs, laid siege to the base.
Despite a joint Core and Zoner effort multiple sieges led to the bases eventual destruction.
The Kaldra sustaining extensive damage from repeated defences was forced to return to Livadia in order to repair.

Following the acquisition of the Cryolite, Velvet found itself in a position to acquire yet another older model Aquilon carrier. With out dated and mostly broken sub systems, the initial work started before the ship even started it's journey to Freeport 11 from the Corfu station in which it was stationed previously. As soon as it was serviceable and was capable of being moved, it was immediately taken to Freeport 11 were small upgrades and system uprating began systematically in between it's various missions to and from the Omicron Minor system. Still undergoing the upgrades, it is now just as capable as any other readily available Aquilon, but in the time of war, any other is never good enough so is still undergoing the upgrades as and when they can be done.

Harbourship Destiny is one of the most recent - and biggest additions to the Velvet fleet as of now. Although it is a newer generation ship, it is rather rundown and technically quite outdated. The hull is dented, some decks are segregated and the armament too weak to reliably defend the ship in the event of an attack. Before the Destiny became part of the Velvet fleet, it was used as a converted long-haul cargo ship. Most of the residential quarters have been replaced by additional cargo space, and some of the armament has been disabled to provide more power for the engines. According to the current circumstances, the run down status of the ship could change soon as it may be refitted to serve as a mobile HQ to the Velvet's forces. While the Cryolite Aquilion-class carrier would remain in the flagship position, the Destiny carries larger fuel tanks, more space for important equipment as well as biodomes to partially autonomous supply the crew on long-term missions.

A quite expensive investment, which turned almost an empty husk of a vessel into a fully operative war machine in two and a half days. Still going through certain modifications, The Lupus is a mobile assault complex, a vigilant guard of Freeport 11 and it's habitants. It's captain made sure that it is operated by same ex-militarists as himself - professionals with certain sets of morale. It is rumored among it's crew that the captain of this vessel aims to turn it into a "combat perfection by all means possible". Even aboard the ship itself, there is a specific "code" in effect, which every crewmen follows without a question, even the captain himself.

Previously a part of the Black Kite fleet, The Aquilon Carrier "Nyx" is the flagship of the Zephyr Task Force. It can be seen patrolling and guarding the NFZs of Freeport 6 and Freeport 10. The ship has seen its fair share of battles back in the Omicrons against Nomad vessels. Since the move to the Taus, the Nyx has seen less battles and more is used as an intimidation tool for anyone trying to breach the NFZ. The Nyx is currently captained by Max Cosmatopolis a space-born Zoner who with their odd brand of diplomatic talk has kept the sanctity of the Zoner NFZ in check. The ship is also currently outfitted with some of the latest technology as far as jump drive systems as well as scanning equipment.

Waiting for about to be written

Following the closer working relations with the Core, the Velvet High Command decided that it was about time to show how far their relations had come and work in a closer collaboration to attain a battle cruiser. With the ever growing threat of the Nomads and their supporters, it was slowly becoming time for the Organisation to start looking into more than just the Order technology they had been graced with. After a communication to the Guildkeepers of the Core by Max Cosmatopolis, the cogs turned, and the ship was to be built and commissioned under Velvet's banner. Although Velvet would allow for the ship to be used by several selected members, it was still treasured as a ship that is largely a demonstration of the leaps and bounds still being made by Velvet and their ever close relations with their allies.

Back when Velvet first started, the needed a ship that could act as a mobile HQ, as well as a defensive base when on long rnage missions. After Saskia Alexander's departure from Freeport 11, the team began working on modifying an old L-584-B Oasis class transport to suit the requirements. Although the Gold was never a perfect fit for a group and organisation growing at the rate it was, as a first expedition it was the project that started off them becoming a real force. Although now the Gold is incredibly obsolete, it is still kept as a reminder of the organisations early days. Despite not receiving any real upgrades since then, it is more used for assistance around the Pygar along with the new liner, Titanium.

A Renzu Shukensha that is used heavily to assist in the works being done around Pygar with regards to the migrants. It is primarily used as a holding ship for Migrants who are awaiting a place to be on the main surface of the planet, while awaiting the construction of the docking ring and mooring fixtures. When not conducting assistance duties around both Pygar and Corfu, the Titanium is often used by Velvet members as their way of touring the Sirius Sector in the safer regions of space. It has universally been accepted by Velvet members as "The Party Bus" and usually what happens on the Titanium, stays on the Titanium.

The "Corvo" Civilian Deep Space Explorer has always been a useful multi-tool of the Sirius Sector. Capable of being a more support and utility ship instead of an actual combat vessel, the Aries is Velvet's answer to a lack of a deep space science vessel. Equipped with the most up to date scanners and electronic equipment and the newest life support, communications and defensive weapon systems. It is currently lacking the proper armour capabilities go beyond it's science means, however, it does have the capability to defend itself as needed.
