Fleet Admiral Edmund Steiner, esteemed colleagues of the Admiralty Board,

Following a brief period of recovery in New London Orbit, the Essex Battlegroup will now formally restart operations in Dublin, and the below operation command will be established and the men and women of Essex will operate under its principles and goals until further notice. Such is the nature of conflict, many variables will change and the operation will bend and mold to meet new situations.

Operation Wet Tea

Operation Wet Tea is set out as of the formal submission of the operation to the Admiralty board of the BAF and will run until further notice or cancellation. The overall aim of the operation is to secure the Dublin sector from threats present in and adjacent to it, for the benefit of the Bretonian economy and civilians who live and work in, as well as transit the system.

Operation Wet Tea Details

Operation Command:
John Redmond, Admiral

Goal:
Secure Dublin.

Operation Overview:
The main objective of the operation is to defend Graves and Bretonian mining in Dublin. The Green Zone (See below operation map) is the primary operation area, with the Yellow Zone the area of focus for offensive patrols. The Red Zone is an area to generally avoid without suitable reason. Secondary objectives in Dublin is to clear the Yellow Zone of all hostile infestation, though this will require resources to pull off. The Liberty Navy has been contacted as to if they are willing to commit resources to Dublin, and should they be available, the Yellow Zone will, in the face of overwhelming Allied forces, cleared with extreme prejudice. Due to the nature of many of our foes, the SIS will be asked to provide recon and anti-espionage operations based from the northern Asteroid field, applying further pressure to the Yellow zone.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all personnel of the Essex battlegroup for their stalwart service in the Battle of New London and the sacrifices they made. Being forced to return to Dublin despite losses sustained is a heavy burden, but one which we all take in our best of strides. We do this for the future of Bretonia, and without hesitation.

Regards,

Admiral John Redmond
Dreadnought Venerable, Essex Battlegroup
Bretonian Armed Forces
