Operated primary by the Perth Extraction and Reprocessing Cooperative, Kwinana Refinery is a small outpost orbiting Oraibi, first moon of Salina. While Oraibi has considerable mineral deposits, especially of copper, the atmospheric conditions are particularly harsh even to unmanned drones. But with the right shielding, even that can be overcome.

PERC has also begun gas harvesting operations at Salina, refining the harvested gasses at Kwinana into H-fuel. Though quantities so far are low, further expansion may provide enough for export.

Hey everyone, finally got our own comm channel online. Visual comms are offline at the moment, but I should have that fixed by the end of the week. I think it's having issues with the archive configuration, which is weird. This is gonna bug me all day.

Anyway, we've got one Kamome out here, Purple Haze - love the name, by the way - but we could use some permanent freighters instead of borrowing them from OMG. I think Kestrels would be the best pick for Oraibi - drop off a cargo crate full of drones, get back out of the atmosphere, come back and pick up a cargo crate full of ore. Crayter might have some ideas with one of their Celestras though, someone oughta give them a call.

Oh, guess I should introduce myself. I'm Astra. Astra Solberg. I'm a techie here, specializing in network systems and remote communications hardware. Basically, I'm the one making sure we can tell our drones what to do, and no one else can. The comm relay's mostly pretty standard off-the-shelf parts, but we had to retune the broadcast platforms to compensate for Oraibi's atmosphere since most of these are calibrated for something very different.

You know, something breathable.

We've modified some of Aquila's Cissa M34 mining drones, but they're still having some issues. Engineers, you might want to get in touch with Crayter, see what their shield recommendations are for this rock.
