Good day to you, gentlemen. I must inform you that our diplomacy might have encountered somewhat of a hiccup in the Omegas. You have probably already heard the message, but I'll summarize it to make sure you are informed: Premier Mehmed Selim seems to have been deposed and he is now aboard Freeport One, seeking our refuge. Please connect me with the minister, I need to speak with him at once. It is very urgent and very serious.

Captain Hall,

I see our friends in the Coalition are taking cues from Malta about how to maintain a stable government. The Premier has dealt fairly and honourably with Her Majesty's Government, so I see no reason we can't provide him refuge as repayment. You are authorised to use any and all means necessary to facilitate Premier Selim's safe arrival on New London.

In Her Majesty's Service,

Frederick Stewart
Her Majesty's Principal Secretary for Foreign & Colonial Affairs

Minister,

I have received and understood your instructions. The premier will be extracted and brought to Planet New London with the highest efficiency. I will personally lead a battlecruiser, two landing craft and an escort wing into the operation. Long live the Queen.

Minister,

The operation was a total success, no blood was spilled and no property was damaged. Premier Selim and his foreign minister, Michel de Grasse, are at Wellington, the BAF headquarters on Planet New London. The premier mentioned having some plans which could be useful for us. I am going to talk with him now to find out more, so I can keep you thoroughly informed. Would you like to give them an audience?

Minister,

I am duly reporting the outcome of my talk with Premier Selim. Firstly, he thinks that a certain commissar called Ivan Petrov has taken over in the Coalition, and he doubts that their new government will be willing to ratify the Sydney Accords. If this turns out to be true, then Selim will be the only premier that has signed them, which means that the Coalition territories of Planet Sydney should legally stay under his government. I offered Bretonia's help to reinstate him into power, at least on Sydney, which he has welcomed. Nevertheless, I still hope this affair can be resolved peacefully, so I am going to try to negotiate with the new Coalition government. I the meantime, I am asking if it would be possible that the BBC prepares a number of consecutive news report that would help stir public opinion against the Coalition, in case of the worst. In this case, I would also like to remind you that it is not within my authority to declare war, so it would be splendid if the government was ready to convene on that matter during the following seven days.

If war indeed breaks out, I assure you that the planetary ground forces are more than capable to end the affair in our favour very swiftly, but I would like to ask the government, if possible, to speed up the arrival of the Ark Royal Fleet, because I am deeply worried that the Stirling may prove inadequate.

Long live the Queen.
