Esteemed Elders of the Corsair Brotherhood,
I hope all is well. I wish I could say the same for us, but then your own people should be aware of what has transpired.
Not long ago, I received a distress message from one of our long range logistics units within the Omicron Kappa system. The descriptions from the commander of the vessel were rather disturbing to say the least, but from the account of the operative on the scene with my logistics commander I'm of a mind that a stark change may have taken place.
To keep it short, I'd like to know why one of my ships was attacked and disabled at the hands of one of your captains. I'm not aware of any standing distrust between our two groups, and while one of the reported attackers wasn't one of your people, the other was, and this demands an explanation.
Once I receive direct information from the Abydos, I'll have a clearer picture from the defense.
